Best Chinese food in the country! Great rice plate options for individuals or a la carte entrees for group meals. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and while it's great for takeout or delivery, there's surprisingly ample seating for dining in. Curry chicken and garlic chicken are two of my favorite dishes, and the potstickers come in a great sauce that makes for an excellent starter. Friendliest staff, authentic food, top notch meal every time!

Yelp really needs to punish these obviously fake reviews. It's insane. Not a good look for the owner.

Recently dined in and also tried delivery.Dine in was easy. Came in and ordered the Garlic Chicken Rice Plate and requested less salt. Paid and sat down. Incredibly fast, food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant looks clean and newly remodeled. It was so good that I thought about it days later and decided to try some more things, so we ordered delivery. This time we ordered the Hunan Dumplings, Mongolian Beef, Bean Curd with Meat Sauce (aka Mapo Tofu) with rice, and Dry Sautéed String Beans. All delicious but the Mongolian Beef was mostly onions and green onions as the beef was sliced very thinly. Will probably try more dishes in the future.Located on Sacramento St. between Kearny St. and Montgomery St.

If you're looking for Hunan style Chinese food, this definitely is the place to be. They have two menu, the Chinese menu and the English menu, ask for the Chinese menu because the spice level is much spicier. The restaurant is nice and clean with an upper level for additional seatings for bigger parties. Is the upper levels ada accessible? Not really, its a flight of stairs but the first floor seating should hopefully accommodate that. The staff all are very sweet and diligent. They work fast and I cant even imagine carrying all that food up those stairs. Highly recommend for anyone looking for spicy Hunan style Chinese food.

Order at the counter and sit down. They give you a water cup for dining in. Ordered a Mongolian beef over rice for one and it came out within 10 minutes. The meal has a good spice to it, enough to make you want to take a sip of water here and there. The slices of beef are soft and on the smaller side. Plenty of green onion and regular onions. The overall dish was a bit salty - not sure if I can eat the dish itself without rice to tame the saltiness.Nice place for a quick bite to eat for lunch or after work.

A new restaurant that only opened for 9 months. Offer very reasonably priced lunch (over rice) for people who work in Downtown and Chinatown. My friend and I went in for dinner. Dinner dish portion is ok, 2 people should order 3 dishes or 2 dishes and 1 soup to be full.Price is still reasonable, especially considering it is situated on the border of Fidi. Love that they have a separate menu for Chinese customers, certain authentic hunan dishes that only Chinese normally would enjoy! (Although you can adjust spicy level to be mild for all dishes). We only ordered from the Chinese menu. The hot and sour soup is very good, it's more sour and spicier than regular hot and sour soup, which is how I like it. 8/10The salt and pepper spare ribs came out to be a little bit surprising. We thought it would be fried and dry. But it is actually not. It's more like a stir fry dish, but the flavor is very good. 9/10The money egg is a human dish I've never tried before, even in China. But it looks very interesting. I think the egg was steamed and peeled first but then deep fried so the exterior is a bit crispy. It's very flavorful. 9/10Overall: 8.5/10 No

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Staff were Chinese and the restaurant seemed quite authentic.Food: 4Decor: 3Service: 4#10_Smoked Pork Belly, 15Sliced smoked pork belly sautéed with bamboo shoots, bell peppers, onions, sliced carrots, and hot pepper sauce. The most popular dish in Hunan~4/5. Was worried it would be too spicy, but actually it was just right. Pork belly was sliced thin and nicely smoked, and the veggies were crunchy and complemented well.#21_Steamed Rice, 3Service was good for a casual dine-in spot. Would definitely come by again.

I rarely used yelp but I have to copy my reviews to here as I am so angry.I wish I could give this place zero stars. Our experience was nothing short of a disaster from start to finish. We walked in and were completely ignored by the staff for a solid thirty minutes. No greeting, no acknowledgment--just a bunch of employees standing around chatting while we awkwardly waited at the entrance. Plus, there was NO WAITING LIST! When someone finally noticed us, the hostess seemed annoyed that we were even there. Not a great start. We were seated at a sticky, unclean table, and the menus looked like they hadn't been wiped down in weeks. We should have walked out then, but we foolishly gave them the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. The service was unbelievably slow. It took another 15 minutes just to get water, and when it finally arrived, there was a suspicious floating object in one of the glasses. Gross. The host barely spoke to us, just grunted and walked away every time we tried to ask a question. Then came the food--if you can even call it that. We ordered a few classic Hunan dishes, expecting bold, spicy flavors. Instead, everything tasted bland, oily, and incredibly salty. The tofu was straight-up COLD IN THE MIDDLE, as if it had been microwaved but not even stirred.
