Writing this from Zareen's because we needed a second meal afterwards. Just focusing on the food because the ambiance was already very underwhelming (two tables seated at peak dinner hour). We ordered Tom yum, pad see ew, and red curry. The Tom yum had bitter shrimp, pad see ew noodle came out to be sour, the red curry was very unflavorful. The pork inside was soft, so were the Bamboo shoots. We ate less than half the plate for each dish because it was so unbearable. The servers (presumably the owners/ managers) came to check on us a couple times, asking if we want to take the food to-go because we had so much leftovers. We said no, and one of the servers asked whether the food was bad. I was reluctant to be rude but I told him the food was sour. He then cleared the table and left. I was under the impression that if a restaurant really cares about customer satisfaction, they would at the very least apologize for a bad dining experience related to the quality of the food.

We came here eons ago when it was called "Rice". If I remember correctly, the food, ambiance, and service were first rate. The parking was a another story. Fast forward and the parking remains unchanged. Unfortunately, much as changed regarding the food and ambiance. I have to assume the present proprietors are not the same ones when it was called "Rice". The decor is very stark, i.e. nonexistent. There are no decorations, artwork, etc. on the walls. Now, on to the food.Tom Khar with Prawns - Tasty soup based though it could have used more coconut milk. The only items in the soup were prawns and large slices of mushrooms. Kind of one dimensional IMHO. Most places add baby corn, onions, etc.Pad Thai with Prawns - Disappointing. No tofu or cilantro. The noodles were thin and mushy. The wifey mentioned experiencing an aftertaste which I could not discern.Crab Fried Rice - Decent and fragrant in a good way.Grilled Pork - Cold and not very "grilled". They need to give more of the chili-plum sauce, though I could not taste the plum in it.

We were looking for food after a hike, and came here because this was one of the only restaurants that closes around 9pm in Palo Alto. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived, so we were easily able to grab a big table despite being a big group of 7. Apparently there was a 18% service fee for 5+ people which the restaurant did not inform us until the end. This restaurant really saved up on the menu cost and updated the prices of every item on the paper menu by hand. Every dish was now around $16+, an increase of a few dollars from when the menu was first printed. We tried a variety of dishes such as Tom yum soup, red curry, pad sew ew, papaya salad, and roti. The food tasted fine, but we all agreed that the food was slightly on the sweeter side and not very spicy (good thing we were able to get more pepper on the side).

This place is a hole in the wall, can be super easy to miss if not paying attention. I passed by it before I realized I passed it. The parking lot is small, however on a random weekday night it was perfect. The place itself is nothing special, and we were seated in the back booth. It had an intimate vibe and the waiter was very friendly and attentive to us. I ordered the pumpkin curry and it was a solid dish, and felt very homey. It satisfied my craving, especially on a cold day. We stayed till closing and they did not rush us at all to leave early.

We order carry-out from this restaurant almost weekly, we love it. The curries are tasty and have depth of flavor. I am a huge ginger fan and usually get the Ginger Perfect dish. It's family owned and the owners are very kind. The parking lot is small and can be tricky. It's next to Happy Donut.

Feels like management has given up on this restaurant. The menu prices are scratched out by hand and higher menu prices are written in. The food portion was too little - we later went to Cafe Borrone to finish our meal!!

We've used to always dine at original Siam Fine Thai Cuisine across the street from Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara. After they closed, I didn't realize they had relocated to Palo Alto so we had to go check them out after many years. I was so glad to see the same two owners were still running the restaurant. They looked exactly the same as I had remembered and didn't age at all! They were just as welcoming and friendly! Our go-to has always been their green curry sea bass. It has been hard to find this dish at any other Thai restaurant. The green curry is so flavorful and thick, not watery like other restaurants. There is a generous amount of fish in there too. This dish was just as good as I had remembered it and we almost ended up ordering two so we'd each have have our own!The wok's "seasoning" or as we call it in Chinese, "Wok hei" or wok breath is so evident in their crab fried rice and pad see ew. Again there was a generous amount of crab in the rice and it was served in a huge plate. There are plenty of tables and seats in the restaurant. It may not be as fancy as other places but the food more than makes up for it. I'd take a place with amazing food and service over a fancy restaurant with mediocre dishes. There is street parking in front and a small parking lot adjacent and to the right of the restaurant. It can be a bit tight though. If you're looking for a legit and authentic Thai restaurant, be sure to check out Siam Fine Thai Cuisine in Palo Alto on El Camino. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing Thai food. We ordered through DoorDash for pickup so we didn't get the service experience but the food was amazing, so much flavor. Ambiance of the place was cute, and the spice level was PERFECT. One draw back is my pad Thai noodles were so short, they looked a little funny when I opened the packaging but nonetheless, I will totally be back and we're ordering from here again. Our new go to spot!

Whole family favorite, and we have some picky eaters in ours. Their green papaya salad is one of the best I've had and also love their Satay chicken for the kids and curries for us.
