SHMASH’D Burgers

I've been following Shmash'd Burgers around the peninsula since they first popped up in the owner's backyard. Delicious burgers with quality ingredients keep me coming back for more! Had the pleasure of getting a double cheeseburger from Shmash'd today at Blue Oak brewery in San Carlos. What a revelation!The bacon jam they used is home made and somehow, through all the beefy cheesy deliciousness, still shined bright. What an incredible spread.Fries were well cooked, and nice and crispy and salted well. I hope to catch them somewhere in the future!

Incredible smash burgers at all the best breweries. If you like spice the habanero sauce is a must try!

We ate at the pop up at Out of the Barrel in San Carlos. The burger was super crispy but juicy at the same time, the bun was great and loved the sauce! The service was super friendly - definitely will be back! Double smash was $13

I'm not a big burger person but this was amazing. Meat was tender, juicy and a bit crunchy around the edges. I had it with all the toppings and bacon jam

This is my favorite burger I've ever had, so good! Went at Noe Cafe in SF, which has nice outdoor seating.

Hands down the best burger!!!! I never miss these guys at barebottle - the burger is lace edge thin and crispy the bacon jam is so good, the shredded lettuce cheese and sauce - it's like a Big Mac of dreams almost soooo good - this time we also got the dirty fries omg I couldn't resist having a couple so yum. Rich and indulgent just as well they only pop up once or twice a month near me!!

So impressed! This was our second attempt at this pop-up as they were sold out the first time. Definitely come on the earlier side because they sold out about an hour before their end time on a weekday! I am so glad the smash burgers were ACTUALLY SMASH BURGERS- excellent crispy lace of burger meat that we watched get physically smashed on the griddle. Bacon jam and sauce is what sets Shmash'd apart- and no tomato option (not necessary- flavor and crunch are perfect are and do not need to be diluted with extra ingredients) Will be back and will recommend! Follow their instagram for their schedule, and their stories to see if you can make it in time before they sell out.

You crave burger, a real burger? That's the spot. My friend took me here, been bit of drive but well worth it. I mean, most juicy and amazing thing I ever had from fast joint.

The guys were very friendly. They are set up outdoors but it works especially when the brewery opens. The burgers were pretty good. Could have used some more special sauce which was really good. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Will return
