Margaret at Shampa's Pies is a treasure, what would the world do without bakers and I truly don't know what Pacifica would do without Shampa's. The hand pies she crafts are nothing short of life-changing. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out on one of the greatest joys this town has to offer. Bakers like her remind us why food made with love is incomparable. Thank you, Margaret, for keeping the spirit of Shampa's alive and giving our community something so special. We all need pies for the holidays, there is NO COMPARISON anywhere - so GO to Shampa's!!

Today was my first day checking out the new Sunday Sunset Farmers Market. We showed up right before close at 2:30 (market ends at 3) and I noticed that Haruwn had three pies left. The pie on the far right spoke to me. . . "Take me home." I asked Haruwn what flavor it was and it was a blueberry nectarine. I am a sucker for stone fruit and had to try it. Haruwn also added a small chocolate tart for free since he was closing up. So sweet! I gave him a nice tip in appreciation of his generous kind spirit. When I returned home I sliced into it right away wondering how it would stack up to some of my favorite pie places. This is hands down the best pie I've ever had. The crust is flaky and buttery and the fruit filling was generous and not too sweet. I'm hooked! I will most definitely be a regular of Shampa's Pies!

Stumbled across Shampa's my first time at the Sunset Farmers Market and so happy I did! All the pies looked good so I nearly grabbed one of everything. We tried the apple-blueberry, sweet potato, pecan, lemon-strawberry, pumpkin, and chocolate cream pies. Super flaky, buttery crusts but my favorites were apple-blueberry and pecan. Will definitely get pies from Shampa's again.

Excellent customer service from Cosmo, the owner. I can tell he is a kind hearted soul who makes delicious pies and cobblers. The peach cobbler is amazing (I live in the PNW and have been eating peaches since 1976 so I know a good peach when I eat one!). The apple cobbler pie is a winner too. But the best, for me, is the chocolate cream pie...so delicious...Shampa's Pies is well worth a visit to Pacifica.

Just happed to see this store when I was in the area. All the pies sounded good, the owner was so patient while i tried to pick out 5, he even threw in an extra one. The lemon ones were tart, not too sweet, just the way i like them. Lots of apple in the cobbler. All had nice, flaky crust. The sweet potato pie was especially yummy after I added mini marshmallows, popped it in toaster. You can pre-order online Thanksgiving pies by Nov 23 for pick up at shop or farmers markets.

I found the stall at the farmer's market in Daly City and I bought 3 of their small pies. It is my first time trying a strawberry rhubarb cobbler and it was delicious! Not too sweet, and the crust was buttery/flakey.
