RT Rotisserie has me hooked. I've lost count, but this might've been my 7th (8th?) chicken rice bowl--I genuinely can't get enough. Obsessed is an understatement. And somehow, even though it's always solid via takeout, dining in just takes it to a whole new level. The chimichurri sauce especially--it hits different fresh at the table, bright and punchy in all the right ways.Casual spot, chill vibes--order at the counter, find your own seat, nothing fussy. My friend grabbed a side of fries, and honestly, those were pretty great too. Bonus: their ice cream is surprisingly good, so save a little room if you can.TL;DR: Chicken rice bowls are a must (duh), dine-in if you want the full flavor experience, and don't sleep on the fries or ice cream.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today. While I was having lunch, I witnessed an incredibly unprofessional and rude behavior from the manager. A delivery driver came in to pick up an order, but he mistakenly grabbed the wrong bags. Instead of handling the situation with patience and professionalism, the manager scolded him harshly, telling him he wasn't paying attention and ordering him to put the food back exactly as it was, immediately. Even when the driver apologized and tried to fix the mistake, the manager continued to criticize him, saying again that he wasn't paying attention. It was uncomfortable to watch such unnecessary hostility toward someone just trying to do their job.In between this whole situation , a customer accidentally dropped some forks and spoons that was inside a cup on the table, and I noticed the same manager giving them an angry, intimidating look, as if they had done something wrong on purpose. This kind of behavior from someone in a leadership position is unacceptable. A restaurant should be a welcoming place for both customers and workers. I will not be coming back, and I don't recommend this place to anyone who values good service and respectful treatment. But the food was amazing! Everything was tasting so good!

As many tunes as I go to performances, I had never been to RT until tonight. A busy place with SFJAZZ, the Ballet, Symphony as well as the Conservatory all so close. I ordered a salad which came quickly. It was fresh and delicious with a light lemony dressing and crunchy veg. I ordered the cauliflower to go with it. It was expensive and disappointing. So surprised based on their reputations.

RT Rotisserie exceeded my expectations. We've been here a few times previously for their chicken. The chimichurri sauce is nothing less than awesome. This time we had their salad $10.50, rice bowl w/fried chicken $15.75, fries $6.50, cauliflower $9.50, fat rice $5.25, brussel sprouts $6.50 and a whole chicken $24. Everything was fine. The standout dish was the brussel sprouts. It thought they fried it but it wasn't. It was roasted. Service was excellent.

Affordable, healthy option when you're looking for a quick bite. The bowl is my go to (you can choose between different sauce options) and it is always a big enough serving to take leftovers home. The thing to get though is the umami fries!!! (And I've heard people rave about the broccoli) There is seating inside and the service is nice and fast.

Is this a hidden gem? Why haven't I heard of RT Rotisserie sooner? At Loquat, on the opposite end of the block, my friend recommended I try RT for lunch. I checked their menu, and it looked like a solid, convenient option, so I decided to give it a try. When I walked in, I immediately noticed how busy the restaurant was. Clearly, the locals know and love this place!I got two chicken bowls and an order of brussels sprouts for takeout. The brussel sprouts were roasted to perfect and they're covered in a cheesy, slightly tangy sauce that makes you want to scrape up every last bite. The chicken bowls, one with chipotle mayo and another with chimichurri, were so simple yet sooo good. The chicken was tender and the vegetables fresh; it was a healthy and filling meal that left me feeling so happy! I've seen some good reviews about the chicken soup, so I'll have to try that next time.

I think the best thing here (price, value, taste) is the rice bowl. It reminds me of a healthier Chipotle chicken bowl, or rather a rotisserie chicken bowl (well if you get the chicken - I did and I recommend it). It's huge, sometimes I can't even finish it in one sitting. The chicken sandwich is decent too but lots of bread. The broccoli and cauliflower are HUGE and there's plenty to share. I will say it's not very "filling" though. I think it's worth sharing but otherwise it doesn't quite make sense to pay $9.50 for a cauliflower to me...In general I like RT Rotisserie as it's casual, quick, filling, and well-priced. It's not the most delicious restaurant in this area but the bang for the buck (and healthiness) is worth it to me. If you dine in - you order first then grab a table. Grab a water bottle, cups, and some extra plates for your table (corner of the restaurant).

We were looking for a spot to eat before attending a performance at the War Memorial Opera House and we found this little gem! The service was great - everyone was friendly. It's a small casual restaurant. Order and then seat yourself. Easy. The decor is cute, clean, streamline. The menu is limited and I'm glad, it helps ensure the quality and freshness of the existing menu options. The food is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Fresh ingredients and the chicken is cooked on the premises. I only took a few pictures because we were on a timeline but I did manage to capture a few things! If you're in the area - try it! You'll be glad you did!

This review is for getting a rice bowl doordashed!I got the rice bowl with chicken and lamb. Honestly, I'd rate this a 100000/10. HEALTHY. DELICIOUS. NOT TOO SALTY. MELT IN YOUR MOUTH LAMB AND CHICKEN. PRICE IS ALSO RIGHT!!!! the chimichurri??? I'm going to dream about it. Will be one of my go to doordash meals from now on. This makes me want to come back and try the restaurant in person. I'm literally going to make plans to do this next week.

Best chicken soup on the face of the Earth. Has much umami too. Staff is great; so is the hot sauce.
