Rojbas Grill

What a nice find! Customer service was very good. Food came fast which was great because we were starving and the food was delicious. It's right across from Trader Joe's on MLK and next to Udupi Palace. I've walked by it many times and finally tried it. I recommend it. Parking might be difficult but if you plan for that it's not a big deal.

We were looking for lunch in Berkeley and the reviews from fellow Yelpers were spot on. My wife has the lentil soup, Babaganoush and French fries. She enjoyed them. I started with the Kibbeh which was like ground lamb deep fried in a batter. What I really liked was the Adana Kebab Wrap. The service was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back:)

Amazing!!! The lamb and beef gyro plate was so fresh and delicious when we went! And when you get there, there's a jar of hot sauce they sell and it smelled SO good, that I had to impulse buy! I'm not from the area, but next time I'm there, I gotta get at least two jars to go!

Excellent restaurant! Stopped in for lunch on Sunday and the service was super friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the combo plate, the lamb kebabs and the baklava for dessert. Yum! Located across the street from Trader Joe's. I can see this quickly becoming my go to lunch spot every time I'm headed to pick up groceries.

We unexpectedly based our plans to be in Berkeley for most of the afternoon/evening. We wanted some good Mediterranean food and Berkeley is one of the best cities to eat Mediterranean food. Therefore, we came across Rojbas Grill. I am genuinely so happy we did! The proteins were juicy, seasoned well, and tender. I love how they served a platter of piping hot soft pita bread. It paired so well with our food. I was shocked by the complimentary hot tea served post-meal. It was not an average brewed Lipton tea. The tea was a yummy subtle herbal tea and perfect for digestion since we were so full. SERVICE: 10/10 rating The waiter was SO attentive. He was not overdoing it as well. He was very chill, kind, and attentive without us asking. He refilled our napkins and water without us asking. It bothers me when people say "It's their job and also they're just being nice for more tips". But, you can always tell when it's genuine!Ambiance: 7/10 ratingI love how "homey" the ambiance is. Rojbas Grill has a lot of intricate details on their curtains, artifacts, etc. My favorite pieces were the Mandala art hung up on the walls. Parking can be decent. There is a lot of meter-based parking. However, on a busy weekend, it can be hard to find parking.

I will be honest my boyfriend and I love this place, the food is delicious and extra and the family that own it always have such a friendly, jovial vibe. The atmosphere is an average little joint, but we always have such a good experience and the food so scrumptious we've returned often! The Mezze Plate comes with a thick yogurt sauce, and cooked beets, the humus is extra creamy (I don't known what they add that is different, but it's extra). And round that out with Babaganoush, Dolmas, and a new one for me Ezme a spicy Turkish spread recipe with tomatoes, spicy green peppers, and red pepper paste, then falafel, and pita. We usually get that and a Shish Kabab, chicken or salmon, and share. The latter comes with a green salad and fluffy, seasoned rice. So we get everything with the two dishes. Their creamy lentil soup is also rich and a perfect recipe. And we always get their healthy and strong ginger honey tea.

Rude cashier. Food was okay not the best but the service... I wouldn't came here again. Vibe was old school.

I made a catering order here for a work event and really appreciate the service! They were very communicative with me, worked very collaboratively to help meet my budget as well as party needs regarding the amount of mouths to feed as well as dietary restrictions. The food tasted great -- as reported by both myself and my fellow attendees! I explored catering options from a couple other Mediterranean restaurants in the area and I feel that the price:portion ratio for Rojbas is great! We had the perfect amount of food for our party size. Two of my colleagues picked up the food and also reported back that the service provided during the pickup itself was very positive!This may be my go-to Mediterranean catering choice.

Loved the warm tea and the minty water. Got a combo plate to share with my daughter. Food was plentiful for our appetites, meats were flavorful & tasty, the salad and the yogurt sauce was very fresh, the pita bread was toasty, and the cook/server was very nice and accommodating!
