Bought their Perfectly Crisp at Whole Foods. It was delicious but I want the company to know that I'm trying to buy products that are not in plastic containers. Was wondering if the thought of using biodegradable packaging.

Best scones ever! I'm so mad at Peet's for taking away the blackberry raspberry scone, and I just sent an email hoping to find somewhere else I can buy it!

Such a treat! Honestly, my palette preference is savory. But, holy smokes, this pastry perfection gets all of my respect. I have been fortunate to have samplings of the many wonderful pastries from this bakery. From the simplest crispy rice treats, packed with yummy things like mini chocolate chips, marshmallows, etc., are perfectly sweet. And the scones, ohhh myyy, beyond delicious. The breads...woot woot...but them cookies, woofta, they are fantastic, especially those peanut butter cookies, with a hint of snicker doodle... out of this world. I could go on and on, but you get the picture! And wow, do these present beautifully. (Cake by Phatkat Cupcakes)

Walnut bran muffin sprinkled with oatmeal on top. Sounds awful. And looks pretty awful, too, with its wide bottom, and flat, very un-muffin like top. But they manage, somehow, against all odds, to make theme taste divine.

I can only guess what motivates anyone to post negative and totally false reviews. Such people need to be educated and I am here to oblige. The bakery located in South City is a wholesale bakery which, by the way, is not open to the public. (There is no walk-in store attached to the bakery.) I have had the good fortune to tour the premises and everything about it is clean and well-maintained. Raison D'etre takes pride in offering quality baked products and their desire to satisfy their customers is confirmed with every delicious bite!

Cafe 101 at SFSU gets their baked goods from here, and they are AWFUL. I'm giving them 2 stars because...maybe the food is better AT the place?Carrot Muffin: I like cloves, but this has so much that my mouth is numb. I'm serious. It's also overly-chewy.Bran muffin: RAISINS! So many! Also a bad texture.Pumpkin muffin: used to be great, but now I can't believe that they ever sell. They don't even look appetizing, they're obviously way too dry.Apple muffin: goop with apple goop on top.Scones: boring, overly dry, awful.

I get the Peanut Butter Pretzel Rice Crispy treats at Whole Foods and they are AMAZE-BALLS. Love the salty, sweet crunch... just the right amount of peanut butter. SO GOOD!

Terrible place and product. Go elsewhere! Place is dirty and unkept. Very poor environment for a food company.
