Thank you Kubi for making our holiday family dinner spectacular. Ordering was extremely easy. Kubi took my order and made sure that the amount of food ordered was enough for the entire table, ensured that the dairy allergy was taken care of and even put in a few extra items on the house. Presentation was beautiful too!Food was spectacular! Some of the best Mediterranean food in San Francisco. Super fresh, flavorful and authentic. I can't wait to order more from here in the future!

I was lured into Presidio Kebab by the high Yelp rating. Most of the time, classic dishes hit waaayyyy better than viral and/or aesthetically pleasing ones. Our phones eat first, but they aren't the ones tasting it or paying for it!Never heard about Presidio Kebab before but it looks like they opened right before the pandemic hit. I had a nearby appointment so decided to give them a try. Indoor dining, takeout, and delivery available. They no longer have outdoor seating.M E N UTurkish and Mediterranean Cuisine: Starters, soups, salads, wraps, entrees, and desserts. Same all day menu. Beer and wine available.F O O D* İskender Kebab: Lamb & Beef Gyro w/ butter toasted pita, homemade marinara sauce, Greek yogurt ($23.95): https://tinyurl.com/4fe28w73My go-to Turkish dish, this rendition was my least fav one I've tried. IMO, what makes İskender kebab so good is the rich combo of flavors and contrasting textures. It seems they forgot to toast the pita because it was unappetizingly wet and mushy. Topped with chunky marinara sauce, gamey lamb & beef döner/gyro, and pale french fries. I think the accompanying tomato and green pepper were supposed to be grilled (?) but were still raw. Served with a side of cooling tangy yogurt. Not my jam - I picked at the döner/gyro, packed the rest to go, and tried to salvage it in the air-fryer. S E R V I C ECordial and prompt but no check-ins. I was the only diner at lunch and received my order in less than 10 minutes.A M B I A N C EUpscale cozy vibes with 12 tables, ideal for date night.P A R K I N GChallenging street parking at peak hours. Overall, wish I loved Presidio Kebab as much as others. Looks like several others had the same issues with the İskender Kebab so guess I choose the wrong dish. 2.5 stars rounded up for a small local business.

I had the chicken gyro wrap and my friend had the lamb and beef kebab and both were really delicious with large portion sizes. The price was fair for the amount of food, and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My friend said the kebab meat was a little on the drier tougher side but still good. Altogether would recommend, it's a very nicely decorated restaurant, good food and the service was attentive as well.

Service is friendly, prices are reasonable considering portion size and presentation and ambiance is upscale classical. If you're looking for a go to Turkish spot in a nice part of sf, this is your spot. I like the beyti, Adana, and shank. Be sure to ask for their hot sauce, it isn't some bottled chilli but rather a home made one that's spicy, creamy and has the right amount of zest in it. Their main dishes are really solid and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Their desserts are ok, probably the weakest part of their menu. Out of those the bahlava is the most decent which is average at best, but that's ok- don't skimp out on the mains and apps and you will be just fine. They also offer a weekend brunch which presents a nice spread.

Very nice dining experience. The food is excellent at very reasonable prices, especially in the middle of posh Pac Heights. :)The restaurant is clean, roomy with comfortable seating. And above all - the excellent, attentive and friendly service. Yay... I'm a fan of Presidio Kebab! Thumbs up!We walked in on a Friday afternoon, earlier dinner at 5:30 without reservation and were greeted by the friendly waiter/ host right away. We then got seated immediately as there was an open table for 2pp.Between the 2 of us, we ordered the Combo Platter and the Lamb+Beef Kebab rice plate and shared everything. There was plenty of food and prices are very reasonable. Throughout our dinner, the waiter and assistant checked on us frequently (without being over bearing) and filled our water glasses promptly. They happily helped us took pictures and the food was excellent. We finished our dinner with a Baklava + Cappuccino and oh!! the Baklava was so good. A must order item. Everything was excellent through and through. Excellent food - coupled with attentive, professional and friendly service. Very very happy dining here. Highly recommended. :)

Decided to stop by for (a very late) breakfast (like 1pm...) and we were HUNGRY. So we went with the Sultan's Breakfast for 2! It came with a side "salad" of chopped tomatoes and cucumber (no dressing), which was surprisingly refreshing, lots of hot fresh pita, some scrambled eggs with slices of Turkish sausages, and some sweet breakfast-y cold mezzes. My only wish was that they subbed out the olives for something else (I'm really not an olives girl), and maybe I'll ask for that substitution next time. The greek yogurt with a generous amount of honey was my favorite of these. If you haven't tried Turkish coffee before, I think it's hit or miss. I've tried it a couple times now and keep forgetting it's not my favorite preparation of coffee. It comes in a tiny cup and half of it is pure coffee grounds, and also comes with a Turkish delight. I love how authentic this is, but just not my cup of tea, unfortunately! I've been here for dinner service as well and the waitstaff are always great--quick to refill your water or your pita basket, clean up after empty plates. Vibes are very, very romantic at night, so maybe not the best choice for catching up with "just a friend" LOL.

A spontaneous date night dinner at Presidio Kebab made for a new spot in our restaurant rotation! We got in a little before 8pm on a Friday and there were many available tables to choose from. The ambiance is grand yet intimate, it almost feels like you are having dinner in a rich person's dining room. We started with the combo platter that came with baba ghanoush, ezme, cacik, dolma, shakshouka, feta cigars, falafel, and warm pita. Everything that came with the platter was absolutely delicious, with my personal favorite as the shakshouka, which was different than the versions of shakshouka I had previously had. It was served cold, with bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions stewed in a flavorful tomato sauce. The cacik and baba ghanoush were my next favorites, with the cacik like a thicker, creamier version of tzatziki. I will definitely order this again the next time I'm here! Because we weren't too hungry, we ended up splitting the salmon entrée, which was actually more than enough for us. The salmon was served with veggies, hummus, and a caperberry butter sauce, which was a flavor I have never had before. The caperberries were like pickled olives, they were quite salty and sour. The salmon was overcooked to our taste, we prefer it a bit blush pink on the inside. Next time, I'd ask for a different cook on the salmon but it did have a good flavor from the grill. The veggies were all cooked well and I loved the hummus that came with the dish, super creamy and smooth. We ended the meal with baklava and an espresso. The honey syrup was so floral and seeped through the layers of crisp phyllo and walnuts, I loved the baklava. The service was attentive and the team was professional and welcoming. I'd definitely come back here again and try out more of the menu.
