Had a fun time at Presidio Bowl but nothing particularly impressionable about the experience (good or bad). Parking was easy to find because there is a lot (we went on a Saturday at 6:30pm). The bowling alley itself is quite small (I believe 12 lanes). There wasn't a wait when we called a few hours prior but made a reservation just in case. There were not too many ball size options imo. I tried searching around and had trouble finding medium for the lighter balls (8, 9). Also, each lane has a table for seating but not enough chairs. We had six people but only 4 seats per table. There's also no where by your table to put your things (coats, purse, etc) other than on your table. There's some additional tables where the ball racks are but it's kind of separated from the actual lane so probably useful for a larger party to drink but not so helpful for smaller parties. Lastly, the price (listed on their website; up to $80/hour and $7.50 for shoe rental) is just very expensive. I've been to another number of other alleys that are larger with better seating/ambiance. The service was not notably good. The arcade is very small. All in all, the experience is average. But as one of the few alleys in SF, it offers what it's supposed to.

Love this place. I go with my family and with colleagues. All the predictable stuff is great, but the food is surprisingly good and the patio is world class

Presidio Bowl is clean, and the graphics are kinda cool. The arcade is a little small, but it's cute and does the job. The kids had a great time here. The kitchen was not open when we were there, but it's all good. One con that was noticeable was that a lot of the lanes needed some kind of maintenance or some of them were messing up for miscellaneous reasons. One thing I do want to comment on is that management was very pleasant towards us. Our reservation was at 12 but due to a clerical error, we showed up at 10:30. The manager went out of his way to accommodate us, even when it was just him. That really says a lot about a place, so thank you!

Swung by for a photo meet up here with a bunch of friends. It was my first time checking this place out and I didn't know what to expect. I primarily went here for a quick bite before my friends and I headed out to snap photos. I ordered the fries and chicken tenders and I don't know what it is, but the fries they have here are my favorite kind. Chicken tenders were fresh, service was fast even though one of the bartenders had told me there would be slowdowns with serving food because of the huge birthday party happening inside, but my food had finished within about 5 minutes so it wasn't too much of a wait. Staff is pretty friendly here too even though they were super busy.Overall, seems like a fun place to grab drinks and food. Parking in the area is pretty plentiful, lots of beers on tap and good vibes.

5 stars for location. 3 for food. 5 for drinks. Great place for socializing. The view from the outdoor patio showcases one of the best spots in SF.

I had a lot of fun visiting Presidio Bowl! I went after work on a Friday evening, and there was plenty of parking outside. The inside of the bowling alley was clean. My team and I rented a few lanes for two hours, and it was pretty smooth. I liked the scoreboards; you can customize them with your face and it's just funny to watch the animations on your downtime. They had a wide array of drinks and snacks to choose from. Their pizza and wings are great! The only issue we had was after our second game. There was an issue with my lane, resulting in a 10 minute pause so that maintenance could fix the issue. I'd go again if I could!

Got denied service @ 11:15pm at night when they list their business hours until 1am. Mentioned that they had a number of patrons coming to enjoy bowling and was met with a bad attitude and no desire to have business whatsoever. They chose to close at either 12 or 1am. Would recommend choosing either time for consistency.

It's a nice space, the drinks are good and the apps were tasty. So three stars for those things. We visited recently an hour and a half before they closed. We paid for an hour of bowling and had a large group. Although we were moving quickly, there were several points where the pin resetter stalled and we had to talk to the surly fellow at the front desk and ask him to fix it, or our ball was not returned and we had to go find a new one of the same weight and size. Those technical snafus, combined with our big group meant we were only on around ~frame 7 when the hour was up. Instead of telling us, "hey your hour is up, do you want to buy more time?" (which we would have done!), a worker came and started collecting all the balls from our lane. We were like "huh?" and had to ask repeatedly what was going on. Oh, our time is up? Cool, cool, so we go to the surly front desk attendant, ask for more time and they give us like 10 more minutes. It would have been nice to be given the option to pay to go until 5, especially since no one was coming after us. Instead they gave us a few more minutes and then shut the lane off when our final bowler was about to start their 10th frame. VERY cool, but at that point we were tired of dealing with them acting like they were doing us a favor by serving us, so we just left. I wish you could pay per bowler + per game because, as people who bowl once every few years, we had no idea how long it takes to get through a game with the number of people we have under the best of circumstances (forgetting the malfunctioning equipment). If it's not going to be per game like every other bowling alley in the country, I wish they would either advise you before you start about how much time you should book OR be less dickish about your time ending before your game does. We would have been happy to pay to finish!

Presidio Bowl is not just a bowling alley, it's a great place to stop by for a bite to eat or some drinks as well. Ask for Jameson! -- Food --This bowling alley has a good selection of snacks and food. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich and you can't go wrong with some curly fries. -- Drinks -- Presidio Bowl has a full bar with cocktails and a great selection of beers, ciders, and hard seltzers. -- Atmosphere --The bowling alley is a traditional bowling alley, but they have a very cozy outdoor space as well with fireplaces and heaters. -- Service -- Jameson is the rockstar of Presidio bowl you'll find behind the bar. He always provides great service and goes out of his way to make sure everyone's having a good time.
