Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? This place serves the most outstanding garlic noodles I've ever had! Each bite was a perfect balance of rich, garlicky goodness that left me craving more. But the garlic noodles were just the start of an unforgettable dining experience.Their peppercorn crab is made just right--flavorful, seasoned, and cooked very well. The buttery crab, equally savory, was succulent and rich, offering a melt-in-your-mouth sensation that's hard to beat. And the green beans? Crisp, fresh, and expertly seasoned, they provided a great complement to the rich flavors of the seafood. The beef was another highlight, savory and cooked just right, with each tender piece bursting with flavor (kids and hubs appreciated this dish especially). And then there's the sea bass--oh, the sea bass! It literally melts in your mouth. Tender, flaky, and paired with subtle seasonings that enhance its natural flavors, this dish quickly became my favorite of the night. To top it all off, we opted for the prix fixe menu, which was a fantastic choice. It concluded with a delightful dessert of fried banana paired with coconut and mango ice cream. The contrast of warm, crispy banana with the cool, creamy, tropical mango and coconut ice cream was the perfect end to a very yummy meal.I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu!

===TL;DR=== - Curry crab- House special crab - Garlic noodles - Beef steak cubes - Steamed sea bass ===TMI===Honestly their prix fixe menus are great deals if you're there to share! But I'm there for my own crab, all to myself -drools-. Been here throughout the years and I'm here for my curry crab!! Idk what they put in that curry sauce but it's so addicting and I loveeeeee mine saucy (so you can also sauce your rice up). Another classic is their house special crab. Oh also, their steamed sea bass is a dream! So fresh, literally melts in your mouth. Beef cubes were finger lickin good... like honestly everything is good here. You can order blindly and would walk out satisfied. Just be prepare to work for your food! Aka the mouthwatering crabs! Also love their lemon iced tea here!

I drove by and saw the sign for happy hour oysters. I knew I had to check it out. I've only gone once but I will be back. I went on a weekday around 4:30pm. I ordered myself a dozen oysters, the salted egg yolk fried tofu and the salt and pepper wings. All were tasty and hit the spot. I'm going to bring my family back next time as we can eat lots of oysters and $1.50 an oyster is a great deal!I would also like to try the items they are known for - salt and pepper crab and their garlic noodles. The whole menu looks delicious. I agree that it's hard to justify spending so much on crab when I can buy my own (when there's a deal) and cook it myself. But, everyone in awhile having a seafood feast is totally worth it. The inside is pleasant. Not super fancy but a good family restaurant. I never went to the other location but I really like that they're on Geary where there's pretty easy parking. I'm looking forward to going back and bringing more people.

This place is great for your seafood fix! Although their name implies you should order the crab, the garlic lobster is absolutely amazing with a light crispy coating and roasted garlic flavor. Make sure not to skip on side dishes like eggplant or garlic noodles!

Happy hour oysters anyone???? Stop by this new location of PPQ and get your fix of oysters for $1.50. They clean and shuck large meaty oysters over a bed of ice served with cocktail and lemons. A friend and I may have gone over board and ordered a dozen each but we definitely cleared our plates. The oysters weren't amazingly sweet but they were fresh, large and juicy. We were tight on time but the happy hour menu has other cooked items such as salt and pepper tofu and chicken wings. And don't forget they do garlic noodles and roasted crab so well!

Did your eye seafood drop by? Hey Can't get enough to the seafood here. I drop by every few months. I guess parking's a little harder here, but it's not that difficult to find. But the food is worth the parking space

Easy to make a reservation through Yelp. My sister was craving crab and so obviously ppq was our go to. The ambience was chill.. It wasn't packed when we got there but filled up pretty quickly (we went at noon). Service was friendly and very attentive. We got the prix fixe crab option for two and an additional five spice chicken with garlic noodles on the side + Thai coffee and Thai tea. Everything was delicious, portions were generous with leftovers (I love leftovers when the meal is so good). At $165 for 3 all in (gratuity was pre-added to the check), in SF, for crab, it felt like it was a fair deal.

Where to get crab when you can't get it from 99 ranch and make it at home??I've heard amazing things about the PPQ in Millbrae and decided to go to the SF location since it's much closer to me. It wasn't that busy when I went, but there was def a lot of big Asian families around me that it felt like home. I ordered the Garlic steamed crab and ate my entire crab without sharing. It was fresh, it was garlicy, and it fixed my cravings. I also ordered the garlic noodles and salty egg tofu. You need the noodles with the crab!Everything is yum but the price point makes me wish crab season was all season so I can just be cheap and buy at home. But since life doesn't always give me what I want, PPQ will do during off seasons!

We wanted Dungeoness crab so we came here!$69 for crab and you can choose from several ways to get it: traditional house, peppercorn, roasted (garlic), and more. We liked the peppercorn it has a nice kick and crispy. The roasted is good as it comes very fast with enough garlic butter "juice" for your noodles! The salted yolk tofu is also superb with nice creamy salty exterior complementing the soft tofu center. The staff are fast and quick to pick up your empties .We parked free on the street after the meters stopped collecting.

Came here for happy hour and got the salted egg tofu, calamari, and oysters. We also got the soft shell crab from the regular menu. My favorite had to be the oysters. The soft shell crab was ok, I probably wouldn't order it again. It was two tiny crabs and it just tasted like fried crab--nothing really special. I usually really enjoy salted egg yolk flavored things but this one tasted like artificial cheese. The tofu was soft and gave a nice contradicting texture to the fried outside shell, but again the flavor wasn't ideal. The calamari was nice, I wish it was hotter--temperature wise. Don't bust out your laptop because there is no wifi. Great service--the staff is really attentive and quick. Additional pluses: The food comes out really quickly. They also pack your food for you.
