We've been to Pork store a few times over the years and we keep going back. For the most part they serve good quality breakfast meals at reasonable prices. My all time favorite is the Chicken Fried steak but recently had the Pork Store Special. Unfortunately the pock chop was a bit dry and thin so 4 stars. I would give 5 stars for Chicken Fried Steak though! We also had the Corned Beef Hash meal which is also a 5 star. Wish I could have given five star for the pork chops. Service was great! server came quickly and was very attentive with refilling coffee cup. Not a ton of table seating but they have counter service too.Located on Haight street you get all the vibe and history of the location. But being in SF expect homeless folks as well. They are harmless and just treat them as human beings. We gave our leftovers to someone who appreciated the offering.

My hun was craving a hearty breakfast meal & found this spot. & let me tell you, it was definitely a hearty breakfast!! The dishes are huge & you will have leftovers for days.Chicken Fried Steak: He loved this! The gravy was flavorful.Eggs Benedict: I swapped the ham for bacon & it was delicious too.The restaurant is super cool with funny pig art throughout. It is a bit cozy & the bathroom is upstairs in case that may be a hinderance for diners.

My first visit to Pork Store Cafe was back in the mid-2000s. Even then, it was a solid spot for no-frills, hearty diner food. When I lived in the Panhandle in the 2010s, it became my go-to weekend stop, and their Pork Store Special--with its generous portions of perfectly cooked pork chops--was always my order.Through the pandemic, their to-go orders remained just as good. Now, post-COVID, they're back in full swing, with excellent food and service. There's usually a line, but the efficient crew makes it move quickly, and the food is well worth the wait.Bottom line: Pork Store Cafe is a true SF classic that continues to shine, delivering great meals and warm service, time and time again.

5 stars if your wanting a classic intimate diner vibe with generous portions, crave worthy biscuits and hash browns. It's a small neighborhood staple with the quick friendly service. Come hungry and leave feeling like you didn't waste your time or money.

Loved having breakfast here. Portions are big and satisfying. I ordered the Deluxe Heuvos Rancheros with the egg sunny side up and it came with crispy hash browns on the side. My friend ordered the Waffle Piggy and we finished everything on the plate. I also enjoyed the free flowing coffee. Service was accommodating and friendly. Initially our waitress forgot my coffee but was super attentive after she forgot so that was nice. Vibe is neighborhood diner :)

Was disappointed with the quality of everything at this spot. Everything was just ok. The chile pequin pork sausage was way too salty and just spicy, it was not that good. The biscuits and gravy were ok but not particularly tasty. The waffles were also subpar.I really wanted to like this spot, it's got the gritty SF diner vibe but the quality and execution just don't deliver. The service was good.

This is one of the best traditional diners in San Francisco. It's got a really nice vibe and the service is on point. It's very reminiscent of a solid Midwest diner - they keep your coffee full at all times and don't do lattes here. The other parallel is the value. You will get quite a bit more food here than you would at most diners and the prices are significantly lower - this ranks up there among the best values in San Francisco. But most importantly, the food is delicious. I love the Huevos Rancheros in particular. I've tried this dish at a few other diners in the city, and none came close to theirs.

Great brunch spot walking distance from Panhandle. We arrived at 10:30am on a Saturday and got the last 4 counter stools by the grill. Only 7 tables and 14 counter seats total, but service is fast. Huge menu, generous and ample portions, and good deal - 4 entrees and an iced coffee cost my group $65 before tax and tip. Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch, lunch!
