Poke House - Daly City

I loved the Poke House in San Jose, so I was very excited for it to come to Serramonte Mall. We ordered a large build your own bowl to share. The portions were very generous and enough food for two of us to share. Typically, I prefer ordering poke bowls with many customizations via kiosk/online. However, we decided to order in person today. Everything was going smoothly until we realized that the employee gave us only jalapeño and onions when our request was actually all toppings except those two. We informed the employee who graciously apologized and made us a new bowl with the right toppings. We appreciated the good service and the bowl was delicious with fresh ingredients as expected!

Found this little gem through Yelp! Thank, Yelp. The place was nice, clean and had ample seating. The parking lot was a bit crowded due to Black Friday. However, it was easy to find parking. The person that helped us was great. She explained the options and was very friendly. The poke bowl was fresh and was a good portion. The one on the picture was a small which had two types of poke (the museum has 3 and large has 4). The ingredients were fresh and were a nice blend of seasoning.If you're hungry, maybe a medium would do but it would I'm sure you can share a large. Most definitely recommend!

Great location. Easy to get to and it's at a mall! Great portions, quick service, and great tasting! Very fresh tasting and alot of toppings! The owners have the sauces down too!

Placed an order for pick up, and it was ready when I arrived at the designated time. I was excited to give this spot a try, especially when zucchini noodles are noted as a base option. Ordered the medium-sized bowl, and, I must say, the bowl was packed. Also liked that you can choose your own combination of sauces- or try one of their recommendations. Only complaint - my bowl did not include the zucchini noodles. It had been replaced with brown rice. I was trying to watch the carb intake, so this was disappointing. Didn't mention anywhere on my order that it was replaced, so I didn't know until I brought my lunch back to the office. Also, if they were going to replace the noodles, I would much rather have mixed greens than the rice.

Another @toogoodtogo.usa pick up for their salmon bag. I have actually been stalking the salmon bag, after my friend told me she got one and how generous they are. Just my luck I happened to look today and there was 2 left. Just in time too bc my mom is coming back to the mainland tomorrow to cook some sinigang and fried salmon belly pieces from this bag!Definitely generous and the pieces are very meaty. I'd say there's about 2 lbs of salmon in here and it was dated today, as they cut up the fish today! There's a head, a collar or 2, some belly pieces, and even a few meaty bone pieces. I highly suggest picking up a bag if you know what to do with what's given to you for $5.99. The workers were very nice and cordial. I would definitely get it again if it's available.

Finally got to try this place out since it is so close to where I live! Service was very quick, being that it was 12pm on a Wednesday. Menu was easy to follow, I appreciate the crab not being apart of the proteins so that's always what makes or breaks a poke place for me. The overall place is nice and open, some people studying and doing work in a great environment.

Yummy bowl, good service, okay portions, clean spot, no wait! Prefer the other location but overall good org

Been here a couple times now. The first time was awesome. Fish is fresh and they have ogo! If you want to make a traditional poke you can definitely get one done here if you know what to order. The second time I ordered though, my food was a bit overdressed. I'll probably have to ask them to lightly dress mine next time. Just my preference I guess

I didn't even know this place existed until a friend brought me here LOL the bowls are definitely pricier than others but the quality is good and there are a lot of topping selections for you to customize with. I've never seen so many different variations of fresh and dry seaweed. The workers were quick, there's ample seating and place seems super clean. I'd definitely come again if I'm craving a poke bowl :-)

Had an unpleasant experience once, but then the manager reached out to me to apologize and offer complimentary food, which was phenomenal.
