The service is pretty fast here. The past times I've came during dinner time and there was always a line. This poke place located in the Stonestown shopping mall in the food court. I like this poke bowl spot so much that I decided to come here twice within the last few days. The first time I ate at the food court which was kind of crowded. The second time I took it to go and it still tasted good. The order I've been getting is a medium which is three scoops. My main critique is that I wish the sauce was drizzled over my salad but they only mix the sauce with the fish. Their scoops of fish are also small. Other than that I would say the foods pretty good and I like the overall taste. For my base I got the half sals and kelp noodle. The kelp noodle has an interesting crunch which I like. For my fish I chose the salmon, tuna, and crab which were all fresh. I basically get all the toppings and it all works well together.

You know, for a while there, it was like new poke joints were sprouting up left and right. Whether it be in the city or the Bay Area as a whole, it felt like a new spot was opening up every other week, if not more. Now? It seems more likely that some place folds than another one opens. Which is rather ironic, because as unsustainable as it inevitably was to have so many open, it feels like there are only a handful of places left! Which, in turn, makes me both surprised and appreciative Poke Bowl has managed to stick around! Surprised because it's not the greatest I've had, but appreciative that at least there's one more option around on this side of the city!Despite how much I love poke bowls and how long Poke Bowl has been part of Stonestown's food court, it took me longer than even I thought it would for me to come here. In part, it's because I was already familiar with them from all of my trips to their location in Colma, but it also wasn't for a lack of trying - the times I would stop by, the line would always seem especially bad. However, that's on me for not waiting, as everything moves pretty quick once you hand them your order slip. As for their offerings, it incudes a couple of somewhat unique items amongst the classic sorts of staples and plenty of ways to customize your bowl - the size/number of scoops, six different bases, five types sides, sixteen varieties of poke, eleven sauces, and fifteen toppings. For my order, I decided to go with a MEDIUM POKE BOWL ($14.25 for 3 Scoops of Poke) and filled it with Salmon, Tuna, Hamachi (+$2), Cucumber, Seaweed Salad, White Onion, Green Onion, Ginger, Masago, Wasabi, Fried Garlic Chips, Furikake, Tamago (+$0.75), Avocado (+1.25), and their Original Mild Poke and Ponzu Sauces over Mixed Greens and White Rice. In short, a pretty standard poke bowl that tasted like...a pretty standard poke bowl. All three types of fish were great (I thought the hamachi was the best of the bunch) and I liked how tamago was an option that could be added in, albeit with an upcharge. What's more, there was a fair ratio of all of the different toppings to sides and the sauces brought it all together. While I didn't have any major issues with how my poke bowl tasted, it did feel a bit light with regards to value. Compared to a few other places that I've been to, both the overall portion size (a shallow takeout container versus the bowl-shaped ones) and the scoops of fish seemed smaller (the worker even counted the pieces of hamachi she scooped). That being said, it's far from overpriced, as it's nowhere near the worst poke bowl I've had when it comes to value, and it still tasted pretty solid.Among the many eateries that Stonestown currently has to offer, you could certainly do better than Poke Bowl, but you could just as easily do worse. Even without leaving the food court, the always reliable Panda Express might be a better bet, but coming here is far better than the likes of Great Steak. Plus, if you're looking for something fresher/cleaner to eat, Poke Bowl is a good pick, especially if you don't want to wait for a table at Kura Revolving Sushi. Relative to other poke joints, Poke Bowl is above average and convenient, given all of the parking here, but I have to admit I wouldn't mind seeing another new place open up again.THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down.

Fast service, decent quality and reasonable prices. A nice place to try if you want to make a "healthy" lunch choice vs. most everything else in this food court.Poke Bowl is located at the top level of the mall at the edge of the Stonestown food court closer to the movie theater end of the mall. To order, there are little order forms that you fill out with the supplied pencils sitting in a box on the front counter. Simply check off what you want in your bowl (base, protein, and toppings, and hand it to the person behind the counter who fulfills your order. If you don't want raw fish, they have other proteins available such as Chicken Teriyaki or Smoked Pork for $11.75 per bowl.Behind the counter, you'll find hurried but efficient, hardworking servers dishing out bowl after bowl to address the long lines seen during the lunch crush. Poke Bowl has been here for years, and have outlasted many other places that have come and gone in this food court.Average fish quality - not awesome but all ingredients certainly quite fresh, For my $13.99 for three scoops of protein, I get a bigger deeper bowl vs. the two-scoop bowl and with more of every ingredient. Reasonable portions for everything, and they'll give you a little extra of whichever item if you ask for it. I went for a half and half split between salad and brown rice to keep things relatively healthy, with equal portions of tuna, salmon and spicy tuna as the protein portion.. Your order taker mixes the protein with your selection of sauces in a metal mixing bowl before laying it over your base starch or salad. Your bowl is then handed off to the 2nd server/cashier who applies the toppings you checked off earlier on top. Pay up, grab your utensils and find a seat out there on the food court. The sauces I chose ( ponzu and house) felt weak to us, so I went back to get their unagi sauce on the side - presented in a little snap top cup, for a nominal 50 cents. A nice lady who felt the same was ahead of me for the same thing and paid for my extra sauce along with hers! Blessings to her!Yeah, I've had better Poke bowls, but this isn't bad. They definitely deserve a gratuity for their A-level effort, and this meal definitely kept me away from the greasy stuff! Worth a shot if you are in the area and just want a Poke Bowl!

This is one of my favorite places in the Stonestown food court. Ordering is easy. Just check off what you want on the order form and then hand it to the person behind the counter. This is much easier than trying to make verbal requests and being misheard. I love how you can vary how you build your poke bowl. And many toppings are available without additional charge. You can choose as many or few as you like. I usually go for 3 item bowl, and either all rice or half rice half salad. The people working here assemble each bowl quickly and efficiently. The bowls are densely packed and it's decent value for the price.

Ordered and gave my sheet to the worker then she started to take 4 orders of people who weren't even in line BUT CUT TO THE FRONT. She proceeded to make their orders one by one while ignoring me and the others who've been waiting in the usual line. Very unprofessional and disappointed with the service.

I wish there's an option for zero stars. Horrible customer service!!!!I was there around 4:20 pm today. I waited in line and when it was my turn, I saw how crusty the fresh snow crab was. It looks like it's been sitting there for a while, so I ask the server if she can make a fresh batch of fresh snow crab. She went back and asked the lady, and then she said that she didn't know when the snow crab would be made. She asked me if I wanted other options besides the fresh snow crab. I told her that I am willing to wait if she could get an estimated time. She went back again to ask, and she told me about 40 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Since my family is still shopping, I told her that I would wait. She told me to hold on to my order slip. I left and I came back to look to see if the new batch was done. Sadly, it was not. I sat across from the store and waited. It was almost around 5:18 pm, I went up to the same server and asked if she knew when the fresh snow crab would be done. She went back and told me that she didn't know, because she didn't know how to make it. So I asked her the estimated time again and she said around 30 to 40 mins. Since I have been waiting for a long, I might as well wait a bit longer. Later my mom came to find me sitting at the food court and noticed that I was still waiting. She went to ask the same server around 5:37 pm, and the same server told my mom that there are no more fresh snow crab for the day. My mom came back and told me that they are not making any more fresh snow crab for the rest of the day. I went to ask the server and she was like there is no fresh snow crab. WOW!!!!! I dont mind if there is no more fresh snow crab for the rest of the day. I am willing to change to another option, but the fact is that I hated how she lied to me. She had me waiting for an hour, when she could have told me straight up that they are not making any more fresh snow crab for the day. When I confronted her about it, she said she let me know that there was no more fresh snow crab. Clearly, she did not if she kept giving me an estimated wait time for the snow crab. When I told her that she didn't say that, she accused me of lying and said that they have cameras.OMG, YES, PLEASE! Replay the camera I beg of you and listen to what you said to me. Please, I'm begging you. Later I asked for her name and she told me that her name is Leah. I don't even know if that is her real name since they are not wearing any name tags. On top of that, she screamed and said " I don't care, this is not even my company anyways" That line right there says a lot about their customer service. When I walked away, even this lady was shaking her head at how the server was reacting. The worst thing is that the supposedly "Fresh Snow Crab" is still sitting there. I hope they are not serving it to other people because that has been there for a while. Maybe somebody needs to call the health inspector to check to see if the food is even fresh there.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! I have found fish bones in my salmon and crab bowl. I unknowingly swallowed one and became concerned. I had no idea what it was. I continued to eat it as I didn't want to waste food. I felt something sharp again and it was a bone! There were two bones in my food and maybe even more. With all the fish, rice, and toppings, it was difficult to see the bones. They were thick bones and was painful to swallow. This is my first time ever having bones in poke. Get poke somewhere else!
