Yum!My partner and I shared the duck curry, tom yum noodle soup, and mango sticky rice. Everything was SOOO delicious and I enjoyed every single dish. Service was great too. If I'm in the area, I'd come back here.

late night lychee thai tea bingsu! this was probably a 3/6 for me, the texture was great but you need to have a super super strong sweet tooth to enjoy it. it was also $12 which in my opinion, is overpriced for the size.there were a lot of other fun flavors + (non dessert) specialty dishes i'd want to come back and try though!the restaurant is spacious and the staff was nice; they let us dine in even though they had cleaned up early and were doing take out only.

went here on one of my first dates with my boyfriend. That was over 3.5 years ago. Ping Yang is still as good as we remembered. This time around we got the strawberry banana crepe with ube ice cream. The ube ice cream actually tasted like ube and not coconut. The staff is still super friendly and nice. Such a good place for late night dinner and desserts.

I ordered takeout for dinner from here and got the stir fried eggplant with tofu & veggies at the medium spiciness level. I also substituted the jasmine rice it came with for egg fried rice. The food arrived quickly and was nice and hot on arrival. Everything tasted great, and it was a good value for what l ordered.

Great place for a later night dinner or desert, I was surprised how many places closed early or at least early for us and this place came up. Very happy with the dishes we got and for 3 of us it was easy to divide a couple main dishes and appetizer for 3. Small place with a nice staff and we loved the curry and soup we choose. The one person in the group who ordered dessert said it was good and I will take his word, I have not even been much for most Asian desserts. Prices also seemed very reasonable for the city so all that makes it worth five stars.

I ordered through Grubhub as I was craving vegetable Tom kha noodle soup. It was already 10pm so lots of places closer to the Bayview area were already closed. Soup was delicious, lots of veggies, they separated the noodles from the soup so it doesn't get soggy. For me, I like my soup with a bit more acid, so I added some lemon juice. But it was tasty enough without it. I also ordered the egg rolls. Very crispy shell! But the filling was disappointing. I miss the days when egg rolls were still made by hand at the restaurant and was like $3.50 for 4! lol now everyone purchases them premade/frozen. The filling turns to mush when it's pre frozen. So the egg rolls are a hard pass for me. And the sweet and sour sauce was really bland.

After a failure of trying to get dinner in Japantown, we decided to come here after seeing the good reviews. We did not consider the location and found ourselves in the Tenderloin, but luckily it was not as sketchy as a couple blocks down. Food: The appetizer sampler was okay, and felt like they just fried an assortment of frozen items like French fries and spring rolls. The watermelon bingsoo was refreshing but a bit heavy like vanilla ice cream. The ice melted so fast and we were left with soupy watermelon. The restaurant was clean and comfy and the staff is nice, you can tell it is a family run mom-and-pop. I wouldn't return because the food and location is not great.

Had (Thai) dinner nearby and was feeling like Thai dessert next .. decided to swing by Ping Yang rather than have the usual Mango and sticky rice at the dinner place. Ping Yang specializes in Thai (NOT traditional) style desserts and they are open late (like Midnight most days)! Ordered the Strawberry Banana Crepe and it was amazing. I think it edges out Na-Ya (for those of you who know the Thai dessert scene in SF). First, the portion size works for 1 person whereas Na-Ya desserts (while just as decadently indulgently good) are just too much for one and are generally meant to be shared. Second, it's almost half the price of Na-Ya. Honestly, if I'm not in a group I would always pick Ping Yang. I think it just doesn't get the same traffic just because of the tenderloin location. Highly recommended!!

The area was a little sketchy on a weekend night, but I got even more paranoid when I saw that the restaurant workers blocked the entrance with a table. Once we settled down and saw more customers filtering in, I started to feel more at ease. A lot of items sounded amazing, but I got this stir-fry noodle dish that was so delicious. I just landed in SF that night so my appetite wasn't big, but I wish I could've eaten more! I didn't take the leftovers to go since we would be eating out every day. The shaved ice looked so good, so even though we were all full, we still ordered honeydew melon bingsu. It came with lots of whipped cream and condensed milk.
