The pho broth was very rich and hearty, the fragrance was quintessential and spot-on! I got the fresh noodle and the noodles were light and perfect, which paired well with the rich broth. The brisket was really tasty, tender and light. It has a light Smokey flavor. Lots of green onions to enhance the flavor.I got the bone marrow and it was liquid gold. Im not used to the actual bone marrow tissue, so I struggled with finishing the bone marrow. It is definitely tasty! Very rich and hearty. The cafe de sua is VERY strong, I would recommended adding more milk. Upon first sip, it felt like a jolt of caffeine has started to surge inside you.The ambiance is very lively and casual, like new dinner-ware and has Tet decorations. The decorations feel new and invigorating, like it just opened. Service was quick and effective. Order was taken promptly and then our food came soon after. 5 stars!

I love their fresh noodle pho! I normally get the combo pho - where I choose my meats. I normally go with the rare steak pho (pho tai). It's always delicious! This place is always crowded, but we're normally seated pretty quickly. They also have outdoor seating! It's a cute little restaurant and I wish we had one closer to my home.

This is it. This is the pho place to beat. This is where you go for the best pho in SJ right now IMO.It's hard for me to crave pho because of my upbringing (I'm part an ethnicity that loves Vietnamese food more than Vietnamese people themselves, or at least came from one family that did), but I definitely crave pho from this place, and I personally think that says a lot.You can put away the hoisin sauce and sriracha, you won't need it with this broth (and trust me I'm someone who has to have those condiments in their pho like 90% of the time). I still however would get the hanh tran nuoc beo though, but that's not indicative of overall flavor, it's more so just a personal preference that I like the scallions in oil flavor with my pho.I usually get dac biet whenever I want to try out a new pho place to see what they're all about, but this place has their own "Pho San Jose" which seems more popular. I couldn't care less for the meatballs in the dac biet, so I tried their Pho San Jose and indeed it was great. You can get the pho in thick noodles, thin noodles, and also egg noodles apparently. I prefer the thin noodles.I love OC and I love the Vietnamese food down in OC but none of them hold a candle to this. Pho 76, Pho 89, Pholicious, forget about it.Interior is nice, all the furniture is fairly new. They can do a better job of cleaning up after though because the booths are still dirty after customers leave, and I noticed the table still had stuff on it despite them wiping it down.Parking situation is good as there tends to be ample parking spots (the restaurant is in a shopping plaza). Very convenient location too as it's next to Tastea and more recently TP Tea for post meal milk tea goers.Their Vietnamese iced coffee was great and strong. I'm very particular about ice and they use the nice ice machines that make ice nuggets that are slightly crunchy and easy to bite into. I don't like the ice blocks similar to those that are made with ice trays in the freezers for these kinds of drinks.

Great ambience and the pho was delicious. I ordered the San Jose pho which offered riblet beef as well various other cuts of beef: flank, brisket. The broth was nourishing and it was great for a cold winter's day. They charge $1 extra if you want to change the noodles to fresh rice noodles or egg noodles.

One of our friends told us to come to Pho San Jose when we visit and it did not disappoint. After catching a flight, pho just hits the spot. Order their fresh pho noodles, they are light, flat, bouncy, and soft. It definitely made our pho so good! Their portions are plentiful, packed full of meat and I love that they serve steamed sprouts! We also ordered the shrimp donut and it was crispy, full of shrimp, and flavorful.

If there's one thing I know, it's that San Jose in the state of California has thee best pho - without a doubt. Knowing that the Vietnamese community is so strong here - Their soup has be cooking none stop for that deep broth that a lot of other places strive for but within a shorter cooking time. This place, the ambiance is golden. Beautifully picturesque, clean, spacious, and organized - we absolutely knew we were in for a whole 'nother experience that what we've been privy to. When we first got there, the staff was super nice and was able to seat us as soon as we walked in the door. The servers were especially patient with us as we needed some time to look over the menu (we did not know about the hype) and was able to order the San Jose Bowl with additional bone marrow and ribs, Cowboy Pho with side of boneless ribs, and a few drinks. I did not know that the additional ribs would be so huge! I thought that they brought us both orders of ribs and mistakenly forgot about the boneless ribs but when they came back with the boneless ribs I was shocked at how much food I had ordered! The bone marrow. WOW. That gave the soup another level of texture! Let's not forget about the broth, so deep and flavorful. Don't even dare drench that bowl of soup with sauces until you taste the soup. I can't stop thinking about this soup. It was rememberable!

I got the variety bowl pho and got the brisket, rare steak, and bone marrow. I saw the raving reviews about the bone marrow and it did not disappoint - you have to try it!I love when pho restaurants can give you an option for the noodles so I had to get the fresh noodle with it. A great place to get lunch with a friend and catch up which what I did! I love the modern look of the place and honestly surprised this was my first time trying it. Plenty of parking since it's located in the plaza. Definitely will be back!

Flavor (4/5): Sweeter broth but good cuts of met and noodles weren't over cooked. I appreciated that the broth came out piping hot. They also have some fusion styles of phos here if that's your cup of tea. Instagram Worthy (3/5): Pretty standard pho restaurant that gets pretty packed during dining hours. They have an outdoor patio that's dog friendly! Service (1/5): I never expect good service at a Vietnamese restaurant but here was on another level. I had to flag down someone to take our order and that person asked someone else to ask someone else to finally get a guy to come to our table. The guy didn't say anything just looked at me until I spoke. No, what can I get you, are you ready to order, nothing. Just silence and a deadbeat look on his face that he didn't want to be there. We weren't even given water to our table until we asked for it. Takeaways: Decent pho for the Berryessa area just don't expect any service here whatsoever.

We came by during a busy time of the evening. There's usually a person waiting at the door who calls our names from the sign in checklist they have on the counter to the right of the entrance. Parking is shared and depends on how busy other stores are in the same plaza. We parked directly in front of their beautiful Parklet patio and it has good outdoor lighting. It's also the same with the interior with the decorative lighting. We ordered the Smoke Brisket pho and the baby back ribs rice plate. We got our dishes within 5 mins and they were delicious! I didn't know mixing smoke brisket into pho is a different take on pho that I've never knew. I'm coming back here to make it as my new regular pho location to visit!
