Tried this spot for lunch and was pretty impressed. I got the oxtail pho dac biet and they were not skimpy on the meat portion. The meats were all perfectly cooked and very tender, perfect for dipping into a hoisin and sriracha mixture. I loved the fresh rice noodles, they were so silky and soft. The broth was very clean and simple, but definitely hit the spot on a rainy day. Service was ok, but we did have to flag someone down to get our check. I would definitely come back, especially to try the bun bo hue!

I am writing this review, because I hope the owner reads this and understand the authentic expectations when serving Vietnamese food in the Bay Area, especially if you're playing hardcore Vietnamese music loud in the background, so you know that the patron should expect it to be pretty traditional type of Vietnamese food or at least close to it. My husband and I came in pretty hungry having a late lunch around 2pm, so of course even if the food tasted mediocre we would still be okay because we're hungry!! But!! Here's the problem, the Bun Bo Hue we ordered was a such a disappointment.1) Did not have the traditional type of noodles supposed to be served with, the thicker round noodles (NOT vermicelli noodles)2) No pork meat that resembles the type of pork that needs to be in this dish ( looked like a they used Pho Meat)3) No other authentic ingredients such as pork blood, lemon grass etc. 4) On top of not have BBH type of meat they don't even have the vegetables that are supposed to go with a BBH. They gave me basil and bean sprout as my veggies which is used for Pho. I would only suggest that if you are going to serve BBH it has to be different from your ingredients so that it makes the BBH unique and tasty. I can see that they use the backing of pho ingredients and they just made a BBH soup to put over. I love Vietnamese food because I'm partly Vietnamese and when you go into a Vietnamese restaurant and Order a BBH you would at least expect it to be somewhat close to the authenticity of that dish. Now I have to go somewhere else to eat a real BBH done correctly to wash this last dish out of my mouth. I am only speaking the truth, sorry owner that it has to be so harsh but it's up to public to try the BBH and decide for themselves, but I feel that I needed to let people know what to expect when they're going to order this dish at this restaurant.

After walking into the restaurant ,we were greeted by friendly staff and sat us at our table. Clean and inviting interior. The menu is available on a QR code you can open by using your phone. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and crab rangoon for appetizers. I ordered the Phó Tai and my wife ordered the spicy lemongrass filet mignon with rice plate. The food was delivered hot and fresh. Delicious flavors on on the food we ordered. Definitely returning for more. This place does get busy so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. They offer to-go orders also. For good food and service stop by and enjoy.

I visited tonight and it was ok but not that great. The pho was good but not super flavorful or special. I got the shrimp pho and they did not clean the shrimp. The noodles were good but they only added a little bit, not as much as my friend's bowl so I felt shorted. The fresh rolls were lacking in flavor too. The service was ok and ambiance I did like , simple and cozy. This was a generic meal and I will likely not return.

Finally a decent pho spot in the Peninsula that doesn't make me super thirsty after eating. Its so good that I came here two times within a week with different friends. The noodles are consistently good and the broth is clear and flavorful. I've been slowly trying their menu but would always recommend my friends to try the oxtail pho. And if that is out of their comfort soon I would recommend the "reg" pho, pho dac biet. And luckily everytime we came to eat, we get seated right away. The staff are super nice and friendly. And service is quick. And the quality for take out is the same as if you ate there.

I walked in with my sister for lunch shortly after they opened. We were the first ones in and were immediately greeted and water was brough to the table. You order from the QR code and it's fairly easy! Our food came out fast too! Vegan Pho - This is some of the best vegan pho I have tasted. So many veggies, so many noodles, and the eggplant was a genius call. Tofu Spring rollsVeggie Egg Rolls - Confirmed twice on two different visits that they are vegan friendly.Salt and Pepper Tofu - Besides the the Pho, the S&P Tofu was HELLA good. I should've order a rice to go with it!This place gets packed and quick! By the time that we left, almost every table was taken. The service is really quick and efficient, which is nice when you're on a time crunch. The only bummer is they no longer serve Banh Mi. Hopefully they'll bring that back because I love me a good Banh Mi and theirs is good!

I got garlic noodles with roast duck. The noodles were stale as well as the duck. The duck tasted horrible and seemed reheated. It seemed like the duck was made a few days ago. The takeout was ready in less than 10mins, so it says something. I had to have alka seltzer to settle my stomach .We had come to this place a few years ago and the food tasted amazing and felt the freshness . So when I was in the area, I decided to re-visit. It was such a mistake.

Located easy access from SFO. Recently the three of us returned from a week long trip in New England. Time for some comfort food. Let's get some pho.It was a Monday evening around 7pm. We found street parking. Table for three. QR'd the menu. Ordered -* Anywhere we go hubby always order the combo pho. Choice of type of noodles in your pho. He went with thin rice pho noodles * I ordered rare beef & brisket pho with wide rice pho noodles * daughter got her standard - vermicelli with chicken Service was quick. Noodles hit the spot.

We use to come here at least twice a month. But prices have gone up and amount of food has gotten smaller. But really this review is for their new dessert. The price of their Che is really outrageous. $10 for a cup of red beans.
