We've been using Peninsula Catering for corporate lunches and events for years. They are our go-to caterer due to reliability, quality and reasonable pricing. Edgar and Jose are the dynamic duo!!

Everything was great from beginning to end. From deciding what to order, to dealing with our office building's insurance requirements, to set up and clean up, to being on time, everything was done perfectly. Plus the food was great and the server and bartender were polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Stay away from these guys. Stale unhygienic food and dishonest. They will try to overcharge you by stealth billing.

DO NOT ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE.Absolutely terrible. I've endured my workplace sourcing these guys for the past two+ weeks by going out to eat. Today's dinner did not make any kind of sense whatsoever - orange chicken, really bad ravioli, mashed potatoes and salad.Now, let me note that there was NO rice at all. Do you think as an asian, I'm going to have some orange chicken with some mashed potatoes? WHERE IS THE RICE?I gave up on the orange chicken and tasteless ravioli and tried the salad. I was the only person in our workplace to really touch it only to find out that the unmarked salad dressing, which I thought was caesar (sp?), was some kind of watered down version where I felt in place of any kind of water or cream, they used BUTTER; and I know caesar should not be tasting like this.We have a theory that they're reusing what they didn't get to use up during their lunch catering.A prime example was yesterday's lunch - there was this meat that you would apply some kind of balsamic vinegar mess that contained tomatoes, and I later found for dinner, that we had chicken that seemed to have that balsamic vinegar crap mixed in.I have NO clue how other people is giving this caterer 5 ranks. Like Mariko F.'s review, they were pretty awesome in the first week, but I guess now that they have the contract with my workplace, they can just do whatever they want and get away with it.If the point of a workplace is to provide free food so employees don't go out to eat for two hours (thereby losing 4 hours of the workday), then any employer should never consider having these guys as a caterer.

I've ordered from dozens of caterers in the area and Peninsula is one of the best. Peninsula Catering is very service oriented. They'll do their best to accommodate every customer. Everything from lunch boxes, to dropping off big salads and sandwich platters, setting up a hot lunch in chafing dishes, or providing full service at your event. Great appetizers and side dishes. Any chicken, BBQ, oven roasted, teriyaki, lemon caper, all great. Love their grilled salmon and cilantro rice, and their veggies are always good - not soggy and overcooked. HUGE, beautiful salads!Another reviewer said something about it being greasy, and I'm wondering what they had. I order from Peninsula a couple of times a month, it's never been greasy OR over salted, but I do try to stick with healthy options. I've never had their stuffed meats - the mozzarella stuffed chicken sounds like it's pretty rich. They use organic meat, poultry, fruits and vegetables and are very conscientious about serving fresh dishes. And be sure to order a platter of assorted brownies or cookies, they are outstanding!Keep their number handy because if you're ever in a pinch, they're one of the only caterers in town that can get you great food in a moments notice. Food is always fresh and tasty! Love their little bites and tapas and it's always so nicely presented.

We hosted two happy hours over the past two weeks and have the pleasure of working with Diana. Diana was extremely responsive, worked with our budgets, and adjust where needed.Day of Ricardo arrived early, set everything up, and was ready 20 minutes early! The setup was extremely professional with warmed chaffing dishes, tables clothes, properly marked food items, etc.And the food was amazing! Full of flavor and was a huge hit with the entire office.We will be working with Peninsula Catering in the future!

I requested Peninsula Catering & Events for a private party recently and they did a phenomenal job. The food and appetizers bites were all delicious and fresh. All my friends and colleagues were left satisfied and stuffed. The staff were professional and they made sure all our needs were met. It was a successful event. They truly were a one stop shop. From rentals and linens to supplying the bartenders /alcohol. They made the hard part of organizing an event easy. I will definitely be keeping Peninsula Catering in mind for any future events.
