Pacitas Salvadorean Bakery

Lately I have been craving sweetness. I've visited a few bakeries, and coffee shops. This time, I had to go back to my Salvadoran roots, Pacitas Salvadoran bakery. My mom's nickname is "pacita" but Nooo no.. she does not own the this place and she does not work there either. I will say this, it's delicious. One of the best spots for true Salvadoran sweet bread and pastry. The line can be long at times but well worth it. They have faithful customers, my family and myself included, It's our go to. The best part is that a lot of what they have is affordable, not too expensive. They also have other cooked goods such as tamales, chorizo and sour cream from El Salvador. The ambiance is ok, but this is not a bakery where you sit down and sip on a cup of coffee, this is more of a bakery where you go in and walk out with a box full of sweet yummy pastries, a bit noisy maybe, a 5-10 min waiting line maybe at times, but trust me if you have a Sweet tooth like I do.. it's all worth it ;)

Nice bakery recommended by a friend. Never had Salvadorian bakery items before.I ordered:tortita de pasas $1.50quesadilla rectangular $1.50quesadilla redonda $2pan reposteria $2The quesadilla was cornbread like which was nice. One person working, so it took awhile where a mini line formed.Parking, obviously, super difficult to find here.

I love buying bread at this place so much! It's always great to find such local businesses that serve local and authentic products. The owner and staff are always doing the best they could to provide effective and efficient service.

I live much too close to this wonderful place. Every single thing I've tried has been delicious, whether sweet or savory, and it's becoming hard to limit my purchases to one or two treats. The people who work here are friendly and so patient with my limited language skills, and they charge the bare minimum for the quality of food they make in this city. There is almost always a quickly-moving line, and there are almost always fresh trays of goodies being swapped in from their kitchen. I can't say enough good things about this bakery and the folks who work here.

Was in the hood and searched for best dessert. They had me at guava! The store was packed when I walked in. There is no English posted and customers were not speaking English. Luckily the lady who helped me was super patient and friendly. I got my guava cookies! They have a gel inside yum She also recommended another dessert that had almonds and rice I think? Anyway, I've never had Salvadoran treats before and was happy to find this gem with the help of my fellow yelpers!

This bakery makes the most wonderful little guava cookies. They're pretty large, cost less than a dollar, and the inside is filled with guava jam. I could eat a few of them, but try to exercise control and limit myself to one :)

Love, love their pan dulce and pastries! I have a huge sweet tooth and this place always takes care of my cravings. All of their pan dulce and pastries are fresh. It's a cute, cozy neighborhood shop with a huge variety of whatever you're craving for a really affordable price. My whole family is able to get a pastry (or two or three). I just learned that they can make custom cakes for birthdays, etc too. The staff are always helpful and nice as well. Will be coming back soon for more. I recommend coming by and supporting this panaderia.

I found this hidden gem one day, just being curious while waiting on a bus. . Great customer service. My favorite is the bread pudding . Thank you

be aware this bakery charges you for a box. when you request for a box when you are spending already on pastries.specially that they don't tell you about it.
