Found this place from their feature on Check Please, Bay Area! Such a cute, retro spot to drink local tap beers & snack on Hawaiian fusion small bites. My party of 4 made a resy on OpenTable the morning of and we're glad we did because it was poppin! We ate family style at a table in the back corner right under the music speaker.Bathrooms were very clean and had cute decor and a fun pink light which added to the retro vibes. Jay was a great server, as well as the owner and other workers who checked on us even if we weren't their table.Sad to see this place go, but happy I got to check it out! Best thing we tried on the menu was the miso brussels with their delicious aioli sauce.

I've wanted to try this place out because I'm from Hawaii and sometimes I get a hankering for local kine food. This place tries to step up the local flavors... and I'm sorry, not so well. The curry katsu was just so-so, the breading comes right off the meat not in a good way, the breading was off and crunchy, and the curry was just okay. This is not how katsu is supposed to be! We tried the salad and fries as well, again-- fusion of flavors but just didn't do it for me.The staff is nice, the atmosphere is cool, pinball machines neat! I'd come back for the beer and pinball but when looking for local-kine flavors or just a decent curry and katsu best to find other options.

Love that this place takes reservations, even on an evening in which they were holding a halloween party. They also offered a free shot of soju if you wore a costume, which we took advantage of, while ordering the soju drink special on top of that. It was all good. Off the food menu, I had the hapa corn dog without the sugar dusting, and it was a decent size and tasty. The chocolate-filled malasadas were even better, served hot with lots of extra chocolate sauce on the side. My bf got the garlic noodles with lumpia and shrimp, and he cleaned his plate too. This restaurant and bar had a colorful and inviting interior, stellar service, and pinball machines with free play during this Saturday evening halloween event. We had a blast!

We walked in for dinner on a weekday and am very happy we did, since there was no wait and restaurant week. The ambiance was lovely inside, with pinball machines and bright neon lighting. The spam musubi was tasty but on the smaller side, the cocktail pairing with it was below average. However, they have an extensive beer and drink menu - I enjoyed the Sour they had on tap. The small rocket salad was plentiful and had a yummy miso ranch dressing. The lamb ribs were delicious too, though one piece was dryer than the other. The Kheer Brûlée was my favorite in the set menu, as I love the rice pudding and could taste hints of the lilikoi.

Very fun vibe with arcade games in the back corner next to the bar. There aren't a ton of tables for sit down meals, so a reservation is helpful but not necessary. Brussel sprouts were very good! The pairing with their dipping sauce makes for one of the better brussel sprouts I've had. The loco moco is decent, but unfortunately not remarkable. Most of the menu options are bar food, which is to be expected. Overall, a decent place for dinner that transitions into drinks, and great for a 20-something crowd.

I thought the vibe of the spot was so fun! It had like pinball to play, a bar, fun booth, cool lights! Definitely a fun spot to grab a drink or a meal. The food itself was not bad - I personally was not impressed with anything. I liked the garlic noodles the best. The katsu curry had good flavor as well. I would consider returning to try different dishes.

A treat for vegetarians! This is the first restaurant that had Hawaiian options available for vegetarians! The vibes are awesome - there's a few arcade games, music playing, and large bar. When I went, I sat at the bar which was a great spot for 2. The service was great, especially from whom I think were the owners. They were able to answer all my questions around food and beers. The food itself is delicious. There are so many options available but I tried the Impossible Pig Melt, Togarashi Tots, and the garlic noodles. The impossible pig melt stood out as a unique item, one with new flavors (for a vegetarian) with great taste and quantity. The garlic noodles and tots were as imaginable and safe bets here. I'll be back to try more & will definitely come back with friends.
