I've visited Oren's Hummus multiple times over the years and have always had positive experiences. If you're dining in, the service is fantastic. If you're ordering food to-go, the food is prepared quickly and efficiently.Oren's is a great casual, weekday spot for dinner that won't break the bank. I've never had trouble finding a table during dinner hours. If you're looking for a good wine deal, Oren's has Wine Down Wednesday, where wine is 50% off.If it's your first visit -- especially with a group, I highly recommend starting with the sampler, which comes with six spoonfuls of various dips. The dips are packed with flavor and pair beautifully with the soft, fluffy pita bread. One of my go-to orders is the hummus bowls. If you like lamb, the lamb hummus bowl is excellent: the meat is well-seasoned and incredibly tender. The chicken skewer is another solid protein option. Since they use chicken thigh, every bite is juicy and flavorful. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I was in the area and happy to see a familiar brand I liked. I have been to a few of their other locations around the bay.The decor is similar to the one I frequent and the food was, not surprisingly, the same. I got a hot apple cider since it was a cold day which was a nice start. We got the sampler appetizer which was OK. The beef kebab was good. I got it with the labane and muhammara (had to pay more) which were both good too. Solid meal overall.w

We both got the beef pita wrap and a raspberry mint lemonade. Both were good. We actually preferred the taste of sababas kofta wrap (located a few minutes away). You be the judge.Overall 7/10

Clean and well put together restaurant with a to-go section and a main dining room for dine in. We ordered a chicken hummus bowl and chicken skewer entree with whole wheat pita bread. The pita bread was so fresh, soft and warm, while the hummus and sides were all fresh and flavorful. The chicken skewers were juicy and tasty, preferred them over the slightly drier chicken in the hummus bowl. Portions are fairly large especially for the sides that come with the entrees. Food came out quickly as well!

I came here for lunch with a coworker for the first time. We ordered a variety of dishes to share.-Chicken Skewers: I love that they use chicken thigh. Some pieces were a bit overcooked but most of it was pretty good.-Cauliflower Hummus: The best hummus I have ever had in my life. I'm sad that every other hummus I'll ever eat won't taste like this (especially where I live). It was so creamy and the flavor was on point. -Garlic Feta Fries: Almost every Mediterranean restaurant that I've ever been to, the fries generally are a bit under. These fries were fried to perfection. I love the feta and garlic combo. I demolished this.-Falafel: It was solid, but it wasn't a stand out.-Pita Bread: Pretty good. The service was fantastic! Our server was a young black gentleman (didn't catch his name) and he was so attentive and super nice! I would go here more often if I could. Please open a location in Phoenix!

Loved the experience and food at Oren's Hummus! I got seated as soon as I got there and got some cabbage salad while ordering (which by the way was extremely delicious)! I got the veggie skewer rice bowl and some hummus Jaffa style side and both were delicious! The portion size is very good and the dishes were very flavorful! The service was very good as well and they were pretty attentive. I've been to other Oren's Hummus locations and this was my first time here and I can confirm that I've never had a bad experience at any of the locations so this one met my expectations! I will be coming back!

I had been looking forward to coming here, seeing all the rave reviews. And there's nothing quite like the anticipation of fresh hummus and pita.... But my experience this past weekend ended up being a bit lackluster. The servers and support staff were nice, but the guy who seated me was less friendly (from his more formal outfit, maybe he was a manager). It's possible that he was a bit overwhelmed as they seemed a bit under-staffed at the time I came in. After waiting at the entrance unacknowledged for about 10 mins, the family of 7 behind me ended up walking out, but I was hungry, so I waited patiently by the entrance. Upon being seated, they offered water and a small side of pickled cabbage. It was nice to nibble on something while looking at the menu, though I probably wouldn't have gone with something so sour as a starter. Nevertheless, once I ordered, the food came out pretty quickly. The pita was was warm and initially soft, but ended up drying a bit quickly, which happens when places re-heat "older" breads. The hummus was decently smooth, but could have used a bit more garlic or seasoning. The Israeli side salad I got was old - the tomato, cucumber, and onion cubes in it were all mushy. And the beef and lamb kebabs were small, dry, and tough - probably from being over-cooked. While I appreciated that everything was not too salty, all of the food could have used a bit more seasoning. Maybe this is done to appeal to a wider palate.I was hungry, so this did the job as a relatively balanced meal compared to other options nearby. But the food and overall experience definitely did not live up to my expectations coming in.

Fantastic Israeli food! This was my first time to Oren's Hummus, and I enjoyed my only time here so far.We enjoyed a sampler of dips. My personal favorites were the marinated beets and baba ganoush. I loved the grilled chicken skewers, and the pita breads were so fresh and hot!Decor-wise, I was charmed by the mix of contemporary minimalism and juxtaposed with lavish chandeliers and plush seats. A strange amalgamation of both aesthetics, but it worked here. Left here stuffed. What a great dinner spot in FiDi San Francisco!

Located right next to the MoMa, Oren's Hummus is a free great choice for a casual dinner with friends or even a lunch adventure. I like getting their hummus plates which have a nice consistency and flavor (and have also gotten the schwarma). The pita bread is thick and fluffy and food comes in big portions so you'll never go hungry. There's always plenty of walk-in seating and it's clean and spacious in the restaurant. Service is also fast. Good Israeli spot to choose if you find yourself in FiDi
