Ordering was super easy. You use a kiosk and pay at one end of the counter and pick up at the other end of the counter. There is a good variety of choices on the menu. We've tried a few different items and we've liked every one. The food is made fresh and it comes out quickly. Everything is To-go.

the service was ok? you dont really talk to the employees. you just order on an ipad and pickup. the onigiri was nothing special. theyre quite pricey for an onigiri.but there was a ton of little fish bones in my unagi onigiri which made it impossible to eat. youd expect for the price theyd have cleaned out the eel well...

Bento box with one piece of chicken and some small edaname for around $20.Upcharge for eel and crab, and I'm still hungry. They need to be better with their portions and not so greedy when they're nickel and diming the customer.

I liked how quickly I was able to pick up my food after ordering from the kiosk, even though there were tons of people in line before me. The portions were very filling given the price, but my experience was definitely negatively impacted due to the fact that the rice given to me was very dry and difficult to chew.

So happy there's an Onigilly close to me now! *_*It's right in the middle of the mall on the first floor so very hard to miss.Service:Not much interaction between staff members because there are 2 kiosks to order from and they'll send a text for you to pick up.Food:They put in A LOT of stuffings on the inside -- much more than other locations -- but the presentation is very sloppy. See pictures for reference.Taste-wise;Very consistent with other locations. Snow crab and spicy shrimp were delicious! Chicken karaage was soggy and mostly breading.

IMPROVED FLAVORS!Second time round I ordered the same onigiris and noticed the flavors are more flavorful in a delicious way. If you like sour, definitely get the sour plum onigiri! Goes well with the salmon. So good. If you love mushroom flavors you got to try the shiitake mushrooms onigiri. Tastes very earthy mushroom-y with lots of juice. The onigiris seem shorter and beefier in size. More visually aligned to the American food design! NICE AND TIGHTWhile the seaweed wraps were not crispy bc of the warmth of the onigiri, I loved that the onigiri held together well with each bite. No messy spills. No bits of rice falling. I appreciated that. FAST FAST Last time it felt slower. This time with same amount of people in line it felt 1-2 minutes faster to get my order. CLEAN AND CLEARNo icky counters or screens. I hope it stays this way.

Freshly made onigiri on the spot? Yes, please! Every time I'm at Stonestown Galleria, I make it a point to stop by Onigilly for a quick bite. Their snow crab onigiri is hands down my favorite because it is so fresh and flavorful. The bacon egg one, however, isn't my cup of tea; the heavy use of ground pepper makes me feel like I need to chug a liter of water afterward! With so many options to choose from, the best thing to do is trial and error until you find your favorite. Located right in the heart of the mall on the first floor, it's super easy to find. Ordering is simple with their kiosk system, and the wait time is usually short unless someone indecisive is in front of you then it becomes a waiting game haha!My only suggestion? More seating nearby! It can get a bit awkward standing in the middle of the mall trying to enjoy your onigiri. Overall, Onigilly is a fantastic spot for a fresh and satisfying snack while shopping.

First and most likely the last time I would go here. The service was fast though. Ordered a salmon poke onigiri and spicy miso beef onigiri. Both onigiri rice was hard and cold but also SUPER SUPER SALTY. It was like the rice was covered in some kind of salty sauce (soy sauce?) and that's all you can taste.

Saw this place pop up at Stonestown a while ago and decided to check it out since I was craving something light and healthy-ish! I ended up getting the Bento Set with Teriyaki Chicken and Ponzu Salmon Onigilly. The Bento set came with edamame, tamagoyaki (omelette), chicken kaarage and takuan (pickled radish). The entire set tasted fresh and wasn't too oily which I appreciated! The Onigilly was also a decent size :) Onigilly is located right near the mall's main entrance. The place also looked very clean. There aren't any seats specifically for this place but there are many seating areas around the mall, including the food court upstairs! You can place your order through their tablet menu. Staff members were nice and the wait for my order was very quick!

When I heard Onigilly was opening in the center of Stonestown I thought it was a genius move and a great new addition on top of many new establishments settling inside the mall. Now, to compare the Onigiri's to Onigiri's from Japan is a bit much. Is it authentic and greatly priced as if you were in Japan? Of course not. But are they at least flavorful and good? In my opinion, yes! I actually think the pricing of the combination sets are great as well and pretty filling. I also appreciate that the ratio of filling to rice is good. I was expecting more rice than filling but it was packed well with choice of protein. *What I ordered: Edamame/Pickled Radish with 3 "Onigilly's" (Onigiri) *What I chose: Spam (8/10) *It's spam. How can you do spam wrong????Baked Salmon (9/10) *My favorite one! Baked perfectly and did not taste fishyMiso Tuna - (7/10) *In fairness, I am not much of a tuna salad person but for some odd reason, I was craving tuna salad and this actually did not disappoint. Add a pickled radish on top and it offsets the tuna taste and is the perfect bite. I was reading some of the reviews, and thankfully, I did not experience soggy seaweed. I actually experienced a good crunchy bite of seaweed. Is the rice perfect? No, but it was not soggy or overly cooked as well. I am looking forward to going back again!
