Wanted to go with a vegan caterer for an event I was hosting at a consulate. The woman who was our POC was unprofessional, overly emotional, and rude, including copying and pasting private conversations we had on Facebook.Their extra fees and charges they add on increase the list price by over 25%, that's worse than Ticketmaster! Their payment system is also questionable, but not going to get into that.Overall I like that they're vegan so that's why it's not one star but due to the reasons I've listed above I wouldn't recommend. It's a shame, the event I hosted would have been a great way for them to expand their business in the non-vegan community.

Om Sabor is one of the main reasons I've made it this far into the pandemic- happy, healthy, and relatively sane.As a working mom to an active 8-month-old boy, and having just moved apartments on top of that, I haven't had lot of time, energy, or mental space to cook as of late. Enter Om Sabor. Offering reasonable prices (given costs of ingredients and operations), local delivery to my Outer Mission neighborhood on the border of San Francisco and Daly City, and delicious, VEGAN, globally-inspired, foods made from scratch, Om Sabor is hard to beat. One week it's Indian, the next week it's Japanese or Italian or English or Peruvian. Always infused with the Mexican flavors and ingredients that Chefs Dhani and Luis grew up with. This small business is owned and operated by a Mexican-American couple who are not only so obviously passionate about food, but also give back to the community. During the recent wildfires, they helped feed affected migrant farmworkers who grow our food. They openly support the movement for Black lives. And they support other small businesses in the local ecosystem.AND IF ALL OF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH, one of the main selling points for me is that (aside from the occasional soy sauce packet) they offer zero to minimal plastic packaging for their deliveries. They utilize a company called VegWare, which I believe makes commercially compostable products. DId I mention that their food is delicious? That's really the bottom line, isn't it? You can never get bored because they're always evolving and trying new things. And they cook the way I like to eat, which is mostly wholesome ingredients with some "treat" foods in the mix. (Last night they brought us the most epic Papa Rellena de Carne Asada and some comforting Pozole Verde that I'm enjoying as I type.) They make a point to list down their ingredients and offer gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, etc. menu items.I don't know who makes their decisions based on Yelp these days, but if you're reading this, go get yourself some! Your tastebuds, body, mind, and soul will feel tingly and good.

At this point I have been to at least 6 popups from Om Sabor and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the food and the people. As other reviewers mentioned if one could eat Om Sabor food every day, everyone would be vegan. Seriously this food is delicious. Dhani and Luis do all types of cuisines so well. I would not hesitate to hire the team for any catering event!

Wanted to go but no one was picking up calls, or returning messages, went in person when it was supposed to be open, but it was closed with no sign informing why. While there, three other groups came and went, just as confused as we were. Please help your customers and let them know when you are open!

They are awesome!!! Amazing food and amazing people. It's food that anyone would love, you don't have to be vegetarian.I think I heard the story behind the negative review below. I don't know why Dhani hasn't come on to correct it, but basically there was a lady unhappy with their pricing. Having a service charge is normal. Try finding a place without one! It's unfortunate someone was having such a bad day (to be charitable...) that they decided to take it out on these lovely folks. Completely undeserved. The people are kind and the food is out of this world.
