Ocean Ale House

A true hidden gem. Live music, great rotating beer selection, cocktails, and food. The staff is super friendly and the bar has a great atmosphere. The first few times I stopped in I did not try the food -- turns out I was seriously missing out (the brisket sandwich is ). It's definitely worth checking out. Events are posted on their website.

First time here on a Saturday night. The entire experience was top-notch. My server was absolutely lovely - I had my drink order in less than five minutes while she was still standing next to me! I ordered the patty melt and fries (huge portion!) - both were done to perfection. I loved that the fries were still steamy on the inside, but had a nice crisp on the outside. The bread on my patty melt was toasted to perfection - didn't get soft mid-meal. I enjoyed two of their sour beers and both were delicious. Ocean Ale House also has a nice community vibe - families and couples and groups of friends, everyone having a good time! wish I got the name of my server so I could sing her praises here ! Total pro!

Great food, yummy crafted cocktails and good ambiance. The staff is always friendly and attentive. My favorite neighborhood spot!

We came here to watch our friend's band performance. While enjoying the music, we ordered a mushroom melt and steak frites. The mushroom melt had a generous amount of mushrooms and a perfectly cooked egg. It was pretty tasty and satisfying. My husband ordered the steak frites. I stole some of his fries, which I enjoyed! He thought the steak was okay. The staff was friendly and pretty organized! They managed to bring the orders for our large party and to charge each group correctly for our individual orders. They have an extensive selection of beers, but we don't drink. It's a fun place to hang out with friends and enjoy good food and music!

Great ambiance, music, and food, but the service was a little questionable given we were made to sit outside in the cold despite there being several tables open that could have been pushed together inside, in front of the stage. And no, it wasn't because we had small kids, as we saw other groups with small kids get sat in that area.We came in a little before 6pm on a Saturday evening. Although it wasn't listed on their website, there was a lovely flamenco performance (guitar and dancing). Our friends got there first and all the tables near the stage were empty, but for some reason they were sat outside (we were a group of 4 adults, 4 toddlers). It is VERY cold out there, and there are no heat lamps. You can order a tea for $7. When I got in, and I tried asking the manager (I think) if we could sit at the 4-top in front of the stage (since our kids were just standing next to the stage watching the performance. They were quiet mesmerized by it). He kept interrupting me and saying, "wherever you sit, we will serve you." This happened several times. So I just had our kids sit at that 4-top to watch the show. Then he comes over and says that we should sit outside, or we can continue standing next to the stage (which is awkwardly also in front if the restroom door) to watch the performance.Also I felt a little pressure to drink.. I said I was driving and even with that the manager kept asking me what I wanted to drink. * Fried Potato ($9) - 4.5 stars. These are giant potato wedges, crinkle cut for extra surface area and crisp. They were awesome.* Fish Taco ($14) - 4.5 stars. A single giant fish taco, very delicious, fresh tasting fish, nice thick crunchy crisp.

A family friendly spot and great for big groups. There's limited metered parking around the area. Menus are accessible via QR codes at each table or on the sign right when you walk in. You order and pay at the bar and they'll deliver your order to you. There was a live band playing last Thursday evening. It was difficult to have a conversation as it was loud, but they had gaps between their sets to allow for chit chat. The music was great! The largest table could seat a party of 9. The sweetest dessert wine they carry is a Sauternes which was SO good! The fries were a hit at my table and it can be shared with at least three people. I also enjoyed the steak and frites, but if you wait too long to eat it, the fatty part gets too chewy. The fries it came with is shareable too. The bartender was super nice!

Stopped by randomly and were not disappointed. Solid drink menu, great burgers and a fun live jazz band. Server was super friendly and the energy of the room was solid for a Sunday night. Only knock here is it's a bit pricey. Regardless, nice place to hand and drink.

We came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and it was busy with a soccer team gathering. The interior is comfortable and there is ample seating. I loved my Mezcal Negroni! Our server and bartender were helpful and friendly. Our burger and sandwich was delicious. The salad was ok. Their cut fries were a must have!

Convenient location, great foods and drinks, friendly staff and owner, We had good time there :)

I'm usually wary of hype but found OAH to be the real deal and absolutely solid in every way you'd want. Friendly folks, comfortable vibe, great service, an excellent Dungeness crab sandwich, and remarkable ales. A big thumb's up from me and I'll definitely be back.
