Sooooo good!! Ordered the mushroom fries, okra crispy rice, and veggie ramen (spicy). The mushroom fries had an amazing texture and were so delicious! The okra crispy rice was pretty good and I liked how the okra was cooked, but the flavor wasn't mindblowing. The veggie ramen had a good spice level and was pretty flavorful! The flavor of the broth was really delicious.Surprisingly fewer vegetarian entrées than I expected, but I really enjoyed what I tried! Would definitely come back to try more on the menu.

I'm definitely a regular here. The place is small and it could take some time (~60-90 min wait) to get a seat but the food is worth it. Once seated, service is good. Pickup orders are quick and efficient too (food is ready pretty quickly, 15-20 mins). My go tos are: karaage, gyoza, and pad see ew. Can't go wrong with that combo, you're welcome.

Very mixed review here. On the one hand, the food we had was very good. However, the service we had was of fairly blunted affect and unwelcoming. Moreover, we sat down for dinner at 7:30pm, by which time they were already out of key staples: many sakes were not available (took five tries just to pick something that was actually in stock). And there were many menu items that were sold out as well: GUAY TIEW KUA POO, DRUNKEN NOODLES "PAD KEE MAO", and PAD SEE-EW. As someone with celiacs, that left me with only two options for dinner: either a curry or pad thai. That was a little annoying. Nevertheless, the flavors were good and the textures were nice. But it's a rather cramped little space and we're just normal height people. I just don't think I would go back.

One of my favorite thai food places! Had to go here lots of times and the food is always amazing. You definitely need to get the mushroom fries! They come with a sweet plum sauce that balances then out really well. I tried the yakisoba and it was very flavorful and fillings. I tried their chicken wings as well and they are fried to perfections. Really good batter on them too-

Delicious food; small location so there could be a wait. We signed our name and phone number on the paper in the front. They ran out of pad kee mao and pad see ew by the time we sat :( but my friends said it's the best they've had so I'll have to come back and try it!The pad Thai was soo good and saucy! Sometimes other places have pad thai that's a little dry but this dish was perfect. I don't usually opt for pad thai but I will 100% get this again. The mushroom fries are better than the corn tempura; we asked for spicy mayo on the side (it comes with plum sauce also). The lettuce wraps were also a hit! Nice and fresh veggie with crispy pork.

Very cosy interior here, not many seats so we were lucky that we could seat without a queue.Ordered a geso age which came with a lovely dipping sauce, the squid itself was quite chewy and the breading a bit floury in the mouth, not great but not bad. Squid pieces themselves are sizeablI also got the chefs special kwuay teow with crab. It was nice but again nothing too special. I wanted it spicy but this is not a spicy dish but our server gave us some "special Thai spice" from the back (still not spicy but added a kick!) fantastic serviceThe whole menu seems to be "fast food" dishes from Thailand and Japan, think yakisoba, pad Thai, pad see ew, ramen etcSo nothing special but also it doesn't advertise itself as such, it's good food though closer to 3.5 for me

I wasn't really sure what to expect from a Japanese and Thai restaurant, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations!I came here on a Saturday for lunch. The inside is small, but it wasn't crowded. There are tables both inside and outside. Service was attentive and quick! The menu offers small bites, ramen, yakisoba, and Thai noodle dishes. There is also a drink menu with a wide selection of beer and sake. I ordered the mushroom fries and regular vegetarian ramen. The mushroom fries were the highlight of my meal. They were perfectly crisp and I especially loved them with the sweet plum sauce. I think that even a meat lover would enjoy these! The vegetarian ramen included fried tofu, which was surprisingly crispy on the outside. It provided a nice textural contrast. I opted for the regular soup, not the creamy soup. It was a little salty, but it was flavorful. The bok choy, bamboo shoots, and onion provided a freshness.Overall, I had a great experience! If you want to come without a wait I recommend lunch time on Saturday. I would love to come back to try their Thai noodle dishes and their corn tempura.

My experience at Nute's was nothing short of wonderful. Upon delving into their culinary repertoire, the highlights included their notably standout fried noodle garnish which impressively maintained a refreshing crispiness throughout the meal. The fried mushroom appetizer was another gem from their menu, deliciously prepared and set on the table visually appealing glazed clay plates. I'll definitely have to say that their food offerings are an enticing surprise, completely contrasting with their seemingly unassuming exterior - a delightful "hole in the wall."The staff's amiability added a wholesome touch to the whole dining experience at Nute's. Their cheerful vibes paired with their dedicated service made my time at the restaurant quite enjoyable. For drinks, Nute's presented a choice of refreshments which I found to be both fun and unique and the sakura mochi stout was indeed a genuine find. It was a refreshing drink choice that I haven't found elsewhere, adding an exciting twist to my already delightful dining adventure at the restaurant and also they had a great selection of various Choya plum wines also (though that tends to be easier to find)On the whole, Nute's seemingly humble exterior unravels to showcase a world of charming food choices, delightful drinks, heartwarming service and an overall simplistic yet cozy ambiance. I'd highly recommend Nute's to anyone who appreciates a laid-back dining atmosphere with a twist of delightful surprises.

Vegetarian review alert ‼ Okay so Nute's was on my Yelp bookmarks for a while because it's super close to home and had good reviews. It has both Japanese and Thai food which is great. Here is everything my partner and I ate at Nute's Corn tempura with match salt and shoyu (3.5/5) : Matcha salt. Genius. I have a bias for matcha but whoever thought of putting it on a savory tempura. God bless. And the shoyu had something in it.. can't put my finger on it but to me it tastes like it had the kick of vinegar which was perfect with the tempura. Really wanted to try the squash blossom tempura but it was sold out so I'm guessing it's a specialty of theirs.Pad see ew (3.5/5) : My partner seemed to think it was the second best pad see ew he has ever had but umm. I love drunken noodle and I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't make a veggie version of pad kee mao so I was not in the mood to appreciate the pad see ew. Sorry. I did like the flavors.. very balanced and nice. The tofu chunks were a tad bit larger than I would have liked and had not soaked in the flavor of the sauce as much as I would have liked either.Vegetarian Ramen (4/5) :The broth was so understated and simple yet delicious. It had a tang and nice kick to it which made it stand out. Bamboo shoots were not from a can and were delicious. Now the fried tofu here ( maybe made in house? ) - I loved it. The tofu with that broth in my mouth were an absolute delight. I have been very generous with my score for the ramen just for the broth. Overall, good ambiance and quick service. Waited for about an hour on Tuesday night to get dinner. Would recommend trying this place out for anyone in the area.
