A dessert cafe? Now that's a concept that deserves more attention. All these asian fusion inspired deserts were outrages. Unique concepts and delicious execution. Between the toasts, the ice cream options, crepes, cakes and more... it's just enough to overwhelm you and make you disregard your health. I mean how many dessert can one place make? The mango tango situation was high level. Wasn't sure how to deal with the sliced mango. Needed instruction on how to properly maneuver this guy. The lava cake I needed no introduction. Insanely rich and everything you want in a lava cake. Normalize lava cake on all menus. Thank you.4.5 Stars

You can smell this store before you even enter (in a good way). This cute little dessert shop has some great options for you and your friends. There's seating inside and out. The service is quick on a Thursday night around 9pm! Get the mango bingsoo and salted egg anything!

For starters, the service was just awful. The employee who helped me and my boyfriend barely understood english and was pretty rude/impatient. The worst part about it was he kept sneezing and coughing everywhere and didn't cover his face or wear a mask. He was even running his fingers repeatedly through his hair. As for the food, it wasn't anything special. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH how expensive it was. We ordered mango sticky rice and a thai tea crepe cake. The mango was not ripe at all and the cake was just plain and barely tasted like anything but whipped cream. It was a sad experience to end our date on. They had us waiting outside in the cold for 30 minutes while other people who didn't even make a reservation were immediately let inside. Overall not worth it. Don't waste your time and money here. This was Friday night, 2/21

Waited about 30-1hr wait during a Friday night. But over all I love layered cake period so my fav was the crepe cake.Bathroom was not pleasant and I'm not sure if I'll return here for dessert.

Love a good dessert cafe, and this one was cute! My friend and I came here after dinner at about 7:45 PM and there were plenty of tables available though they soon filled up. We got menus but the waitress came by after only a couple of minutes to take our order; we barely had a chance to look at the menu and had to get more time twice from her to decide what we wanted.I got the Golden Toast with Green Tea Ice Cream. The toast was beautiful to look at and to eat; the sweetness of the glaze with the buttery toast made each bite delectable with the bread's fluffy texture. The strawberries were sweet, and the green tea ice cream was okay. All of them combined well in flavor. I had a bite of my friend's Strawberry Croffle and it was good too, it just seemed small for the price. Overall, liked this place, it just seemed they were pushing us to finish so they could seat more people. To be fair, it was raining and there was not a great covered place for waiting patrons to stand. Would come back to try their bingsu!

Salted egg yolk brick toast ($16) is delicious! Great portion to share among you and your friends. The restaurant does make a great use of space, but it does get quite loud when it is full. The crepe cake lacked Hokkaido flavor, literally non existent and the slice was rather small for $11. Does contain some fresh berries and ice cream to complement the cake slice. Presentation of the items is great as well. Overall, one of better dessert options in the SF, best to order brick toast items and shaved ice.

Came here today on a Saturday and was seated right away. We got lucky there was an opening when we went because while we were eating there was a constant flow of foot traffic and people waiting to dine in. There is a huge selection of desserts and the fruits were fresh. My favorite was the Hokkaido Millie crepe which was so soft and smooth. The Ferraro crepe was crunchy and tasted good as well. Loved the ice cream and enjoyed born desserts!

I love this place! The dessert is always a hit here, i wish i could eat the salted egg toast everyday. The service is great theyre really fast and friendly. The place gets really busy especially on weekends and it could be kind of loud but thats okay. I cant wait to come here again. I highly recommend the salted egg toast, salted egg croffle, the thai tea crepe, i mean i could list a bunch of things but these are my favorites.

This Asian dessert cafe in Hayes is my go-to spot when I want to take friends for a little sweet treat at night. I've been countless times and everything is consistently delightful. My personal favs are the salted egg custard toast (the savory sauce and creamy ice cream and warm toast all blend together like a dream) and the thai tea ice cream chocolate lava cake is such a decadent pairing. The service is decently fast, though there's sometimes a wait because it gets full. Ambiance is cute and table-to-table. Nice place to come with groups of 2-4. Looking forward to my next Naya treat :)

NaYa Dessert Cafe - one of the best spots for Asian desserts in the City including: bingsu, toast and more! With two locations, I have visited both and Hayes Valley is my preferred location for presentation and vibes. I went mid-week after dinner around the corner and my friend and I were on the waitlist for under 5 minutes before quickly getting seated with a pitcher of water and cups. Staff was friendly like always but busy during the holiday week so it took a while before we could flag them down for a menu. We ordered the Salted Egg Bingsu (new to their menu) to share and arrived under 10 minutes. We liked that the salted egg was in a separate bowl to self pour. Bingsu was creamy and milky flavored. Paired with the salted egg... it was delightful. The rice balls were okay. I thought they would be chewy like a tapioca/mochi like bounce.Overall, I love going to NaYa for bingsu. I prefer the mango bingsu and highly recommend it if it's your first time there. Their menu selection is great and well worth exploring. They also offer smaller portions of bingsu for some flavors (which is awesome to have that as an option).
