I'd been to the location under previous owners and had a good experience. Pleasantly surprised to find that the new owners are offering a similar but better (and less expensive!) offering. The underground cafeteria has tables and chairs if you want to sit, but this is really a takeout place.Tonkatsu sandwich meal comes with a delicious sandwich, miso soup, side salad (same as the sandwich's cabbage filling), pickled veggies, and the dessert sesame balls. The tonkatsu it's the star of the show here- it's so tender and flavorful!Also ate the chicken karaage. It had a nice crispy batter and good flavor, but not exceptional.

The Tonkatsu sandwich is amazing! Originally I came to eat katsu sandwiches at the former place but I am lucky to have stayed. The owner is incredibly nice, welcoming, and imho his breading is better. The sesame balls are crunchier and tastier. Look forward to coming back. If you want Katsu sandos this is the place to stop by.

This is the worse Katsu sauce ever. Presentation super nice. Chicken crispy and well cook but sauces are fail.
