I had an amazing experience at My Tofu House on Geary Blvd! Came an hour before closing since I heard they can get really packed, and I wanted to avoid a long wait. They have seating arrangements for groups of 2, 4, 6, and even 8, making it a great spot for both solo diners and larger gatherings. I also noticed a clipboard near the entrance where you can write your name and party size--super helpful for managing the waitlist when the restaurant gets busy.Since I came alone, I had to be mindful of how much I ordered, but I was really impressed by the portion sizes. Everything looked generous and well worth the price. Next time, I'd love to come with friends or colleagues to share their BBQ dishes and savory Korean pancakes--I saw them on other tables, and they were gigantic! One of my favorite things here? Unlimited banchan. You don't even have to ask here because the friendly servers automatically come by to refill your side dishes, ensuring your table is always stocked. The variety of banchan was just right, with a good mix of flavors and textures. I especially love the pickled cucumbers, they are very refreshing and crisp! For my main dish, I went with the seafood soft tofu soup, and it was absolutely superb. The bubbling hot, sizzling broth arrived steaming, and I love that you can crack a fresh egg right into the soup for that extra creaminess. The seafood was fresh, and the broth was flavorful and comforting. To complement my meal, I also ordered some fried yellow croaker on the side. It was crispy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor--a great contrast to the soft tofu soup. The rice that came with the meal was also a nice touch, soaking up all the delicious broth and making each bite even more satisfying.Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in both quality and service. The cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and authentic flavors make it a must-visit spot for anyone craving a solid Korean tofu house experience. I can't wait to come back with a group so I can try even more dishes!

Spectacular find for Korean food in SF! A very cozy, comfortable restaurant with a clean wooden interior, and such lovely service. We came in for a later dinner and our server was very sweet and told us to stay however long we'd like to enjoy our meal.Had the beef tofu soup which came with mushroom, egg, and such large chunks of tofu. I got the medium spice level which was perfect for me. The meal was nicely accompanied with the complimentary side dishes which included fried fish! I also loved how we were given the pot the rice was cooked in which had a layer of crispy rice at the bottom. Most definitely will be back again!

stopped in on a wednesday night with some girlfriends to place a takeout order. there were a considerable amount of people there, we ordered 4 dishes and waited about 30 min for the food to be ready. there's an area inside to wait with a few chairs. all of our meals came with banchan (side dishes) and rice. I got the mushroom soft tofu soup and it was super good I really liked the flavors. I got medium spice but could have gotten it spicier, overall 8/10 for me. my friends all gave their dishes (beef kimchi soft tofu, vegetable soft tofu, dumpling soft tofu) a 9/10. will be going back to try their veggie bibimbap!

You should eat here!!My friends and I came here for the first time and we gad a great experience. Wonderful food, thoughtful service and reasonable prices! There was plenty of seating on a sunny Sunday around 2pm. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. We ordered many dishes: vegetable pancake, chicken and vegetable bibimbab, vegetable soft tofu soup and the baked tofu and vegetable bibimbab. Everything was fantastic! My friend has an egg allergy and we asked if the pancake had egg. It did, and the waiter was incredibly gracious and packed up the pancake for us to go (for those with no allergy) and had the kitchen make us another pancake with no egg. We were so grateful for the hospitality! The waiter also came by mid-way to replace our empty side dishes, which was very much appreciated.

Cozy local restaurant with great service - they were very on top of the banchan refills! The banchan was also delicious here including bonus fried fish.Classic tofu soup had perfect spice and great portions with the galbi (could be a bit more seasoned). The seafood pancake had good flavor but could be a bit more crispy.

Perfect on a dreary evening. This bustling restaurant has been around a long time. I haven't been since pre-pandemic, but it was just as I remembered. Quick, attentive and friendly service in this no frills spot that will fill your belly with great food. This time my friend and I shared a seafood pancake (the pancakes are HUGE). I had the beef soft tofu soup and he had the veggie bimbimbop. We were talking a catching up so I forgot food pics (apologies). Caution: you'll have to wait a good amount of time for your soup to cool down enough to not scald a trail all the way down to your stomach. Portions are very generous in addition to the yummy banchan. This is NOT a Korean BBQ spot, so know that if that's what you're looking for. You'll still leave with a smell of delicious food immeshed in your clothing.

For 2 people, we got seafood tofu soup and combo pancake to split and it was more than enough. We had to take some food home because the portions were huge but all the food was amazing. The pancake was pretty thick, like a doughy version so it's filling. Would recommend getting the tofu soup and pancake!

Love this place! Came here with a friend on a Saturday evening. The wait was kind of long because a lot of tables weren't cleaned up, but it wasn't terribly long. The waiters were very prompt and helpful. Even though it was busy, they always refilled my barley tea and it was easy to get their attention. The banchan here was great -- they gave us two fried fish each! Even at BCD in SoCal they only give you one. There weren't a lot of dishes, but the ones they had were tasty (my favorite was the cucumbers). We both got the Beef Kimchi Soft Tofu Soup at the level Spicy and the Beef & Vegetable Bibimbab at the level Spicy. It was definitely plenty of food to go around, we took home quite a bit of leftovers!Beef Kimchi Soft Tofu Soup: 4/5, comes with an egg! Maybe a little thin for my taste but still good flavor. Spice level was alright, but I do have a decently high tolerance, so maybe for others it would be hotter.Beef & Vegetable Bibimbab: 5/5, so yummy! The rice that got crispy at the bottom was the best. Good amount of meat and veggies, and the sauce was not overly sweet.Overall, had a great time here. I liked sitting at the booth since it wasn't too loud and you could still hear the other person in conversation. They also have a bathroom in the back that's decent to use. Definitely would come back if I were in Richmond!

Service: Very fast and constantly attended to us with water or more side dishes.Food: Chicken bibimbap: 6/10. It was good in terms of ingredients and presentation but felt it lacked in flavor. I felt it could have been kore umami/salty.
