My Canh

This is HOLE IN THE WALL type of place located in SF Chinatown. Looks super run down and very small inside. CASH ONLY. Eggrolls - Vietnamese style eggrolls are the best because they put taro in it! Would have been nice if it came with some lettuce. Bun rieu - this was highly recommended by our Vietnamese aunt. But for some reason my critic, Vietnamese Chinese wife didn't like it. The flavor was off lacking, the overall ingredients in the soup was lacking. wasn't enough of the crab/pork meat. Banh canh cua - yum! It came loaded with crab, noodles were bouncy and chewy. The broth was nice and thick. I would love to come back when I'm in the city.

Small and old place in town with good foods with reasonable price , specially Banh Canh Cua (Crab Udon) Friendly and helpful service.

I usually do not eat vietnamese in Chinatown (or SF in general cause I find it lacking) but I really enjoyed this spot! It's very much a whole in the wall and they only take cash but it's very authentic minus the few random Korean items on the menu. I got the banh canh cua which is not easy to find and even though it was $20 it was def worth it.

This place suck. The worst food I have never eaten my in my life. The beef can not eat , what kind of meet ?? I ordered fry n noodles . But the worst noodle ever, if u don't know how to cook , why u sell fry noodle

Everyone and their mother are raving about their banh canh cua (crab udon noodle soup)... so I had to try it! FYI. It was $20. The broth was so flavorful, the udon was cooked just right, but... I should have looked at the pictures on here more. I am not a fan of blood cubes, and there was a generous serving in my bowl, haha! There were 3 big pieces of crab (with shell) so I had to roll up my sleeves and get to work. It would also help if they would post the price of the item since it is a "special" and not on the menu. This is a hole in the wall, no frills place. I would come back and try something else.Cash only. I will give this place a 3.5 stars since service was good, even if the other lady had an attitude! Haha My server was nice so yeah ok... 4 stars then.Did I mention, Cash only? Yes, Cash only.

The chicken and lemongrass over rice is yuck. The chicken, if it's chicken, is so chewy. It's not fresh. Do not get this dish.

I haven't been here in a minute, but this is the traditional hole in the wall, delish viet spot. Growing up, I would be one of my spots to go. I'm always craving for some good spring rolls and Vietnamese drip coffee. It definitely hit the spot today. Very happy. Service was good. The two ladies working were super friendly and on point. I need to come back and get my phone on.

Always a good bowl of Pho at this no frills restaurant here at My Canh. Come for their good solid bowls of pho aka noodle soup. And please expect nothing fancy here when comes to ambience or service.My Canh has been at this location for over 15 years now (by my estimate), and has been serving solid, home tasting Vietnamese noodle soups. We opted for the #1 Combo Beef Pho and the Bun Bo Hue (Spocy beef noodle soup) and both are good as I've always remembered and expect from My Canh.

Honestly the best banh canh cua (crab noodle soup) in SF!!! A cute little Vietnamese restaurant on Broadway. It's also a cash only restaurant!***Let's get into what we ordered! We ordered (obviously) banh canh cua and spring rolls! The soup and crab was so flavorful and the rice noodz were so chewy and fresh! 5/5 recommend! Bon appetite!

Fast service! Great food and nice people. When we first sat down the food options seemed really diverse, and fairly priced. It's super quiet and a good place to eat!
