The buffet of ingredients
Cooking your bowl.
They are located in what looks like an industrial business area. There is a lot of parking which is nice!
Most ingredients looked fresh
Store front
ALLmost you can eat. But we were full with our two bowls. So they're actually doing you a favor.
Mongolian Bowl
My bowl
The quality at this Mongolian BBQ has declined significantly. It is no longer an all you can eat place.
Soft serve
The tiny a$$ to go box they gave us for an extra charge of $10 !!!
Yum, I recommend the 1st timer sauce recipe
All ingredients were refilled quickly
Various flavors to cook our veggies. Suggested mixes are provided.
Cooked bowl with 2 full bowls of raw ingredients. Tasted delicious - there was so much flavor! But not sure if portion is worth $23
Yes, I CAN eat! But can I eat ALL??! Spoiler alert: no.
Mixture of lamb, tofu, mushrooms and other staff
Mongolian BBQ
Cooking my selection of ingredients for a delicious bowl of noodles.
Look! I'm healthy. You only get 2 bowls so don't blow it. The blow out will come a few hours later lol

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The options of proteins, veggies, and sauces were amazing and fit various food preferences. The food was made in such a fast manner and tasted amazing. The service was fast and nice. And you get vanilla soft serve ice cream included with the meal! Overall, highly recommend trying this place, they definitely just earned a lifetime customer!

Beware: they charge you if you want to take leftovers home. Definitely not coming back here again. Came here on a whim on the way home from the airport, should've just gone straight home. Buffet options are very limited. Ingredients are either unwashed (skip the mushrooms, they had dirt still on them) or not washed well. The sauce options used for both before and after cooking are all bland and tasted stale. Service was disappointing. The cook and servers all stared us down while we were grabbing our food. Felt like they were watching us to see how much food we put into our bowls (because god forbid paying customers take the amount of food they want... at a buffet). Cherry on top? The extra charge for the to-go box. It's not even the amount, it's the principle of the matter. For the first time in my life, I'm being charged for a to-go box to take home LEFTOVERS. The lady (same one who rang us up) seemed to not understand that yes, people take leftovers home. When I asked for a box, she was very confused. We had over half of the bowl left too. I even pointed to the bowl to show her and she still didn't seem to understand. Do they eat their customers' leftovers, is that why she was confused? I genuinely do not understand her reaction to such a standard request at a restaurant. The place was decently clean. Nothing to write home about.Editing to add: they also calculate tip based on the total, not subtotal on their POS system. Be sure to double check the tip so you're not paying tip on the sales tax. So frustrating when restaurants do this. Such a shady and dishonest way to do business.

If you love Su's Mongolian near Santa Clara University, you'll love MP Mongolian. When I found this place, I was curious to see how it compared. Little did I know, they're practically the same place! When I asked the owner, she said her sister owns Su's Mongolian! Therefore, their food taste and quality is exactly the same. This place however seems newer and slightly more modern. The lines are not too bad at all! There is also plenty of seating! The exterior looks like it would be part of an industrial business area, and it has a lot of parking! Service was good and I had my water refilled right away. There is also an all you can eat self serve soft serve machine with really milky tasting soft serve. When making my bowl, I always go with the 1st timer recipe for sauce. It's the flavor I prefer, however you can tailor it to your preference. My partner always makes a bowl with just the pineapple juice to make his bowl sweeter and more bulgogi tasting. This place is my jam!

I thought this place was not bad. It's a little expensive like $25+ per person on weekends but I thought the food was pretty decent. It's a buffet but you can only go up like twice during your visit. You do get two bowls per visit which is actually a lot of food. The buffet bar had noodles and lots of meats and veggies. There was white rice on the side table if you wanted that and it's not cooked with the rest of your food. There was a nice variety of oils and sauces that you could use for the bowl and they had some premade combination recipes if you didn't know what to do.The food was not bad. The flavors reminded me of good takeout Chinese food from the East Coast! I like my food a little spicy so I had added some of the chili oil and thought it was great. I also like my food on the oilier side so I tried to add in more oil.

I've been to this place twice, and I really enjoy it!You can't really go wrong with Mongolian BBQ! The ingredients here are fresh. It's exactly what you would expect. When you enter you take two bowls. One for meat, and one for everything else. They have a wide selection of proteins, noodles, and vegetables. After you season to your liking with the various sauces, one of the staff members will cook up your food. After you finish, you can then have one more round (2 more bowls). This place offers free rice and ice cream as well. When you're done eating, you pay at the front. Overall, it's a really solid place. The place has a large parking lot and it doesn't seem to get too busy, so you'll definitely not need to wait.

My husband Looooves coming here. Anytime we are in the area this is the first place he asks to go. We decided to bring my sister and her family since they were in town dropping off my nephew for his first weekend at college. They've never had it before as well and really enjoyed being able to create their own bowls. It truly is a no nonsense place so don't expect anything flashy. Just walk in, get your bowls ready with your fav options, and go eat! Prices are fair and it really is worth it if you love to eat for cheap!

I was craving this place after going to another Mongolian grill that just didn't hit the spot. This place is super efficient! I would recommend to always go thru the line with 2 bowls especially since it is no longer all you can eat and your only able to make 2 rounds. Lots of dipping sauces to change up the flavor so it doesn't get boring! Don't forget the ice cream machine on the back side wal!

Plaza parking is availableCome hungry! Haha I'd consider this a bang for your buck given the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area Mongolian BBQ is one of my favorite dishes and it's always my go-to if it's available in shopping malls so I'm happy to see there's a restaurant dedicated specifically to itOnce you walk in, you're greeted by the owner (I believe) and to the right is when you begin the process! 2 rounds total ($23.xx dinner price and additional $11 I believe per round afterwards) 4 bowls max, essentially - one to hold all your veggies- one to hold all your noodles and proteins I love the variety they offer for proteins such as lamb and tofuMe and bb were left feeling stuffed by the end of the nightWould recommend if you're wanting a cheap eats in the area and will be back to bring my brother too hehe

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WORST and RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. We went here excited and ate our first bowl and then were looking forward to getting our next bowl to go. because the sign clearly says they charge after 3 or more trips. Not knowing this establishment had some ulterior motive of some sort. We noticed that the three individuals working there were staring at us while we were going back for seconds ( knowing they were going to charge us with no warning whatsoever) However, AFTER getting our food cooked, the older lady server told us it would be $10 for a to go box and walked up to our table and yelled at us saying "DONT WASTE FOOD" "NO FREE TO GO BOXES. Obviously, we're not going to waste our food, because we wanted to take it home..,, also, it doesn't say that we will be charged an additional $10 for a to go box for the 2nd trip. The sign said they charged after 3 or more trips. When we brought that up to them, they just gave us a blank stare, a shoulder shrug and told us to pay. Then the lady kept telling us "NO I WROTE IN ON THE SIGN" Like what sign??? Cause clearly we're not reading the same sign correctly...The cook and the younger (mid 40s) lady who checked us out at the end could be seen talking shit about us and laughing when we were about to leave, because somehow they were able to SCAM us into paying $37 total for ONE bowl and the to go box ($10 extra charge) THE ABSOLUTE WORST THING ABOUT IT, is we've came here once before and we physically watched them give these men free LARGE to go boxes to put their food in instead of sitting in to eat. If you're going to show favoritism to certain customers, don't make it obvious to for other customers to blatantly witness that. We were being so nice at first and asking kindly, and they still treated us horribly. They clearly need a lesson on talking to customers properly. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS ALREADY NOT GETTING ANY BUSINESS, and now I see why. OH ONE MORE THING, while they were taking our food away, the older lady proceeeded to take a picture of my friend's bowl, that she wasn't able to take in the to go box because we needed to fill all the food in the one TINY ass box they gave us. Honestly, we felt like they were only being rude to us and felt like they tag teamed us and probably thinking we weren't gonna pay, but we still did after being mistreated. I hope they shut this place down. We will not be coming back here at all and I really hope people continue not to give these scam artists any more business.
