My favorite pizza anywhere. Back in my college days I worked nearby so I started coming back then. Nowadays whenever my family takes a trip to the city we have to come back. The Detroit style is a nice addition, but I think the cornmeal crust is the best. My wife loves the fettuccine carbonara. This time we were advised to try the dessert pizza, and it was fantastic! Can't wait to come back.

I had a craving for pizza and decided to get take out at Mozzarella Di Buffalo Pizzeria. I came here a long time ago but didn't have a opportunity to come back here since. The restaurant and kitchen looked pretty clean. You can see the workers making the pizza from the window from the outside. They offer pizza as well as Brazilian dishes.The service was good. The cashier was very helpful in explaining the menu. He even checked on our order for us. I ordered the Detroit Style Square Pizza withe mushrooms. It had four slices, made the pan pizza style. I was impressed on how much mushrooms were on it with also a finishing touch of marinara sauce on top. The cheese was just enough with the bottom crunchy. It was enough for two people to share. The price was around $21. I would come back again if I am craving some pizza or next time may try their Brazilian food.

Super reliable, popular, and local pizza stop! This is the size of slice that I'm talking about for this unbeatable price. Everyone we talked to knew of this place. Everyone who saw the pizza asked where I got it from. It was the star attraction! I also love the remodeled look. It's very modern and clean. The employees there were also very nice and well-mannered. Even though I was in the way of the busy restaurant business, they repeatedly were polite and said it was ok. But I found my nook and chat a little with the people there - super friendly! Cool dudes. Overall, left with a good impression and happy tummy with pizza that soaked up some EtOH. That is not how it works, right? Heh. Glad to be a returning customer!

This place never misses. I moved out of the West portal area in 2013 and I still come back for this pizza to this day. The staff changed over the year, but the restaurant itself has maintained the same quality and service that you would come to expect. Pro tip : always get the cornmeal crust

I am Brazilian and when I place an order at this restaurant, it's because I wanna eat some Brazilian food and that includes a flan. I cannot tell you how many times my order has been missing a flan. I called the restaurant. The restaurant can't do anything about it. They tell me I need to call Uber eats and deal with them. I called Uber eats and they can't do anything about it either. So if I want another flan, I have to place a brand new order. When I called the restaurant. He said that it is common that sometimes they miss the flan because that comes from another station.So even though this has nothing to do with the food, this has to do with customer service. How many times do I have to miss my flan from the order? And when I asked the restaurant to do a gesture of kindness and generosity and deliver a flan to me he said he could not because I'm outside their delivery zone. Whatever happened to good customer service? This leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. Figuratively and literally. I am disgusted by the lack of compassion that people don't have for anyone these days. If I was in Brazil, it would be a completely different story. I can guarantee you that someone would be bringing me a flan right now.

I work in the West Portal area and I have visited Mozzarella Di Buffa more than a couple of times. The people who work are very nice and are willing to help with the menu. The pizza is amazing. I love the Detroit pizza. Also, the garlic bread is super. One hidden gem (when they have it-hint) is their homemade chicken noodle soup. It is so very good. One thing which will make me go their more, is that I now get a 20% discount on all menu items on Tuesday's because I am 55- Woo Hoo.

So so good!!! If you are in west portal, you have to check this place out. Everything was amazing, from the service to the food it was such a great dining experience. We started with the zucchini sticks which were piping hot and delicious. The Brazilian dish we got was 10/10 and I would definitely recommend trying. They are very accommodating to half & half pizzas or any modifications you want to make. We finished our meal with the strawberry Nutella dessert pizza which was to die for... we could not stop eating it. We sat outside which was perfect to enjoy the good weather and loved the ambiance when the patio lights turned out. 10/10 recommend, we'll definitely be back!

I accidently ordered my dinner twice tonight (2 different phones involved). When I call the restaurant, the person who answered explained he could see the 2 orders but was unable to cancel one of them for me and I had to contact Door Dash but he would let the kitchen know not to make 2 orders.When I did that, I was told I was calling beyond the 3-minute cutoff to cancel an order. I then called Mozzarella di Bufala to update them that I was unable to cancel my order. The same person I spoke to earlier said he would contact the merchant services line and fortunately, he was able to cancel the duplicate order.
