Eclectic grocery of TJ vibe but with delicious deli. Large and comprehensive with friendly and helpful staff. Place to sit outside and eat your purchases was a plus for this traveler.

San Bruno.The fried chicken is poor; and so are the attitudes of these 'entitlement' seniors who've worked here too long. Its like the old timer's at Osh,Grainger, Lowes. Their idea of good customer service is based on their daily mood. Go elsewhere for good fried chicken. You san bruno employees; GO LOOK & SEE the Greenbrae Kentfield store- SEE what a CLEAN, WELL STOCKED, GREAT chicken display looks & smells like.

Hilariously awful experience. I walked in to order a sandwich from the deli. I asked for a menu item that was listed on the screen. He looked at the menu along with me and acted like he had no idea what it was.He asked a nearby coworker if he knew and he said that it would be "in the book"...The attendant took several minutes flipping through a book before I said never mind and left.All I got was a "hahah I'm sorry"...For a $15 sandwich you have got to be kidding me.I'll just go to Safeway where you get a better and cheaper sandwich with way better service.‍

It's a bright, open airy spartan clean store with lots of different, varied sections, e.g. florist, bakery, deli, and the usual dairy, breads, etc. I had such high hopes for this store, but man oh man, the produce needs a serous upgrade and/or vendor. We bought some organic ambrosia apples and one bite after I got home, it was inedible and I threw out the entire thing--though crispy and promising from the exterior, it was bizarrely a mushy mess inside, and insipid as hell ... just yuck. What a waste--I didn't have the receipt, and nor was it worth the trouble to hoof it all the way back there for a refund or exchange. It's experiences like this that makes me not go back. On the positive side, Mollie Stones now has this partnership with of all places, Ace Hardware store ... whaaaat? It's charming in an offbeat sorta way. Customer service is fine, nothing to write home about but not noxious either. The parking, given it's in a strip mall, is plentiful and easy. If only their merchandise was worth parking for.

When you go here just know you're gonna spend some money. This isn't your save mart or Safeway type of store. This store has a grocery store, a deli that offers a wide variety, and the other half of it has tools, grills, and any tool you need for your home or backyard.But I came here and went to the deli and my goodness was I blown away. I got 2 custom sandwich's. Again I knew I was gonna spend some money for good quality and didn't mind. I got 1 sandwich with waygu, roast beef and turkey with spinach tomato and cucumber with spicy mustard and garlic pesto. The 2nd sandwich was a tri tip sandwich both were warm. Great store for variety!

I have shopped at Mollies for at least 20 years. I used to love to shop there, find good food and interesting gifts and small items that were unique The deli always had a wait because they were so popular. DO NOT go to the Deli. What they did to our sandwiches today makes me think they have never eaten a sandwich much less been trained on how to make them, ironically, the lunch meats were good but everything else was just dumped on there and there's so much mayo and mustard...it was just??? I had to remake them. There have been many other failures in the quality of their service and food, the produce isn't good for the price at all. Their Buffet bar is all dried out, it's disgusting. I have seen quality for a while, but now it's just over charging people for crappy food

Mollie Stones Bayhill is the closest market to my home, and I have been shopping here since I was a child...before it was Mollie Stones. It used to be a decent market. I keep having to return food items because they are bad. I have complained there to management twice previously. Today I stopped just for milk, and it is totally spoiled, came out thick. I'll have to return it tomorrow early before work. Besides the bad quality of food... in the produce section you will find bad moldy or rotten veggies... I won't buy them, or steam table food that should be in the trash, to Mollie Stones prepared food that I return because it's too old to eat, the prices are price gouging high. Way higher than other stores. The cashiers are sweet, but I keep having to return stuff, and pay high prices for the privilege. Which is why I don't shop there often... just to pick up some milk, like I made the mistake of doing today. I think that the stores should be fined for this kind of stuff, and it shouldn't be on us to have to waste our time returning rotten food.

It's nice and clean, with a salad, soup and meal bar available. Good selection of cheeses too. Usually a quiet area with nice staff. They're expensive but they sure do make it a nice shopping experience.

Been here many times for emergency items as it's the closet to my home. Cleanliness is a plus. However, this rating is purely for the poor customer service with the cashiers. Each time I stop by, the cashiers are unprofessional and obvious that they don't want to work. Bianca is borderline discriminative if you read between the lines. Please hire new cashiers that are friendly. Love the deli folks.
