Mission Picnic Catering

Catering is not easy especially for a big group. I give credit for organizing multiple meals for an enjoyable culinary experience. With that being said, it's very important to make sure that each meal is prepared correctly and cooked well. We ordered about 40 sandwiches of different variety for our company. However, the cheesesteak sandwich was left undercooked and pink. As a result, several of my coworkers fell ill after eating only this sandwich. I know this can be fixed moving forward.

Oop, I didn't realize Mission Picnic had a separate Yelp page for their catering. I highly recommend this place for lunches. I bought 11 sandwich boxes for my office lunch and each one was labeled with everyone's name like I requested. Which is hard to come by believe it or not. Also, each box came with a sandwich, a side salad and a cookie of our choice. Such an awesome option and for a good price at that! You really can't go wrong. I would definitely order more in the future the next time the office needs sandwiches.

Catered to our office thru Zesty.The first time we had them I wasn't really all that impressed but maybe that was my fault for not making my sandwich right lol The second time we had then I knew what I was doing they provide everything to make the best sandwich ever!!! The Garlic Aioli is so gooooood with the Pesto Aioli the bread is fresh and soft with choices.I never ate Pastrami before but the way they had it served up looking like bacon OMG I had to try it!!! I'm very happy I did. I would recommend this place many times to many friends.

My office catered from Mission Picnic for lunch and I absolutely loved it. Im usually not a fan of pastry/ sandwiches, but the cuban sandwich was fantastic. The thin sliced pineapple was a great complement to the fire roasted pork, which was very tasty. Highly recommended!!I also tried the london broil sandwich which was surprisingly tasty. The baby argula and mustard aioli was a nice addition to the roast beef and tomato. The downside was that the focaccia bread was so hard and tough it tasted like it was 2 weeks old. Definitely go for the cuban sandwich, but the others aint bad too!

If you need to feed your office, these guys have this figured out. You can't go wrong with sandwiches and salads. Can handle anything from 10 people to 1000 people. Heathy and hearty and delicious.

I highly recommend Mission Picnic for catering your event! The freshest most delicious local ingredients. My co workers and I all felt spoiled for being treated to such a high quality catered lunch. Big sandwiches with lots of ingredients packed in....yummm! Not gonna lie, I was the one doing the ordering, so I have to pat myself on the back for finding such a delicious local option willing to cater our event. They were super easy to work with, even with our tiny budget. Fast response to emails and phone calls! I'm happy they are doing well in SF! I can't wait to use them for our next work event! Writing about their food is making me sooo hungry, I might have to pop in for lunch after this review!

I really love their food. A little pricy, but the quality is excellent. I've tried most of their sandwiches and salads, and have liked them all. I especially like their egg salad sandwich, and their potato salad is the best I've ever tasted.

I was tasked, very last minute, with finding a delicious, but affordable company that caters, and delivers gourmet sandwiches and sides. I tried a number of places, but our delivery destination seemed to incur an added fee at everywhere I called. I called Mission Picnic fourth, and wish I'd called sooner. Not only did the owner Stirling respond right away with a quote and answers to my questions, but everything couldn't have been easier. We ordered a platter of mixed sandwiches, a huge side salad, fruit and cookies, and everything was A+!They delivered on time, helped set up, explained what everything was, and even brought extra utensils and plates for us!The cookies were still warm, fresh out of the oven, and everything was super fresh.I can't thank them enough for their awesome customer service as well as their incredible food. Will definitely be a) ordering from here again b) visiting the actual location for another of their insanely awesome sandwiches! Thank you!

We used mission picnic for a catering event. My company wanted to order lunch for all our clients during the holidays (so a complicated set of catering events). Josh was amazing in helping me select the right meals and ensured they arrived just in time. He was so communicative and helpful, we will use in the future 100%. Highly recommend for big or small events.
