We came around 2pm on a saturday and there was still a line outside. Thankfully they were able to seat us right away because we were a party of 2. We sat in their patio area and I love all the greens and the sunlight you get back there. It's all self serve mostly, you grab your own utensils, napkins, order on the phone. Everything we had was really good and a lot of flavor. The meat is cooked very well and the sides tasted freshly made.

We were so lucky to have a party of 11, come on a Sunday evening ,and get seated right away. The host and staff were very accommodating of our small children and quick to help us. The food was easy to order through our phone and surprisingly affordable for being in downtown Redwood City! I love the self serve hot tea station. It smelled of cinnamon. The heaters and lights outside made for an enjoyable atmosphere. The interior transport you to a nice Mediterranean diner. The food was just as delightful and fresh. I love the baba ganoush, the tabouli salad, fluffy pita bread, and chopped chicken skewer plate with rice. The garlic sauce was so perfect. A surprising favorite was their giant charred cauliflower, seasoned and cooked perfectly. This was a sure highlight of our trip!

We have a new Mediterranean restaurant in downtown RWC! This restaurant is shining a little bright...with flavor! These lovely folks at Mazra know flavor of spices and herbs like know other I've encountered. It's amazing the detail in each item. Loads of flavor! Everything I ordered was bursting with so much flavor, I loved everything. In particular, the Halloumi Cheese Rolls, YOU'VE GOT TO ORDER THESE! I really didn't know what to expect. These look overloaded or too heavy, but they're not. The crispy outer wrapping is very light, perfectly crispy with the chewy, herby cheese inside with the honey drizzle on top. It's crazy good! Really try these. It's not like gooey cheddar or mozzarella cheese, stringy. The Mediterranean cheese is in a class all its own, chewy, herby perfect inside the crispy wrapping. The natural melon juices, the basmati rice, grilled scallops, grilled artichoke and pita bread all were flavorful, delicious, excellent quality and healthy. Oh I forgot...the salmon. Juicy and so much flavor. I loved the salmon, cooked perfectly. There's a lot of thought and care going into these creations and is loudly spoken in the flavor of everything I ordered. My favs are: the salmon, basmati rice, scallops (should add a few more for the $$), the cheese rolls. I want to try the highly recommended double kabob plate. Yelpers are raving about this entree. If you love Mediterranean cuisine you should definitely give them a try. There are quite a few Mediterranean restaurants in RWC, all very different in flavors and menu items. Mazra, definitely knocks flavor right out of the park with grand slam delicious! They know what they're doing. I will definitely return!

I can't say enough good things or recommend this place enough. This location opened up not too long ago and although it's further it's in a very nice location, ambiance is really nice and the beautiful Palestinian decor inside is so well thought of. It's a family owned business and you can truly feel that family presence when you're there. The sons are so unbelievably hospitable and enjoy your presence in their restaurant. Service was quick and attentive. Lastly, the food is phenomenal. I'm Syrian so know good Arab food when I have it and this is one of the best spots for authentic arab cuisine with their own touch. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!

I finally made it down to Redwood City to try the new Mazra. This is a much nicer location than their original one, but why is parking still challenging lol. There's a lot right behind, but you're better off going to the garage across the way. While the food is still great, it is a little confusing at first as a fast casual set up. Your best bet is ordering on your phone with the QR code, but you can get regular table service if you prefer. Food is delicious and plentiful. The chicken shawarma plate comes with nice portions and a good variety of sides. The halloumi cheese rolls with honey is a great sweet and savory snack. I do like being able to grab water and tea at the different self serve stations throughout the place. When the weather is warm, eating outside with a large group is fun. Can't wait to head back!

All time favorite restaurant of all time. 100/10 for me. I do wish they kept their San Mateo location; there was like no parking aka not a lot of people came to this place aka the line to order food was always so quick. Since they are in Redwood, wait is usually like an hour, and I always find a way to get the motivation to wait 1hr + for food here. My go to place after my long runs (so I want to thank this place for being part of my marathon journey). I love this place. The slow cooked lamb is amazing.

My first time trying Mazra and its probably one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I tried in the bay. I highly recommended trying this place! For 2 people, we ordered...Falafel Mezza Sampler - comes with 6 falafels and a variety of their sides. A good dish to get if it's your first time so you can try their sides. Sharable plate. Garlic Rotisserie Chicken Plate - their chicken was SO GOOD! Very flavorful and moist, cooked to perfection! 10/10 recommend Beef Shawarma Plate - my bf enjoyed his dish. I tried a bit of it and both of us thought their garlic rotisserie plate was better. Mint Lemonade and Cantaloupe Pineapple Juice - Both drinks were equally delicious! Their cantaloupe juice reminded me of the Filipino cantaloupe juice. We definitely had so much leftovers, since their signature plate portions is quite big. We dined here on Saturday night during peak dinner time and waited 30 min to get seated. We sat outdoors and had no problem with seating outside since there were heaters all around. The inside of the restaurant does look pretty; love the decor inside. They provide free hot tea, which was tasty! I'd love to try their kebabs and lamb when I dine here again.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was a huge miss in my book. Having dined at the smokey and original San Bruno location, I was super excited to try out Mazra post-fire. Parking is available in city owned lots, garages, or streets around the restaurant.Dining is available indoors, or outdoors in front of the restaurant. There appears to be multiple entrances, one for takeout/pickup and one for dining in. Despite having a sign stating to wait for a host, the bus boy who was walking around suggested that we can sit anywhere.Ordering was done via QR code and payment, including tip, had to be submitted before the kitchen made our order...strange. Our food was ready within 15 minutes and a staff came out with our food wearing tight black gloves. Tea, utensils are all self-serve by the entrance.Started off with the haloumi cheese rolls and it was okay. I was expecting a cheese pull but couldn't get one. They were warm and the rose syrup was decent. The double kebab with kafta and lamb were a miss. It was odd that the entire entree was lukewarm. Requested the meats medium rare and they came out medium well. The kafta and lamb were both on the bland side and also quite dry...bummer.The side of grilled vegetables and potatoes may have been the highlight for the entree.~$20/head after tax and gratuity for lunch.

I absolutely love Mazra. I've frequented their San Bruno location plenty of times before temporarily closing, so until that reopens, Redwood City will have to do.My go-to dish is the double kebab plate, which comes with two kebabs of choice, two sides of choice, basmati rice, hot sauce, garlic toum sauce, and pita bread. I always get the beef kebab and chicken kebab, which are both very flavorful. I love garlic, so their garlic toum sauce is just amazing.Ambiance is beautiful and there's both indoor and covered outdoor seating. My one issue at RWC was the ordering process. I understand many restaurants are modernizing their way of ordering by QR code/app, but I absolutely hated my experience because their ordering system (toast) was so buggy and slow the day my friend and I visited for lunch. Service was friendly, but our food did seem to take a while to arrive at our table.Nevertheless, I would still return to Mazra despite the minor hiccups.

Lovee this place in Redwood City. Was a fan of their original location in San Bruno and followed them here. The outside patio and inside architecture has an amazing ambiance. Their food is 10/10. I'm Syrian and it's very authentic and reminds me of home. If you're in the bay area I would definitely make the drive here to try their food.
