Came here with friends after Barry's class and liked it! Good: - No wait, there was just us in the whole restaurant on a Thursday night - The prices and portion sizes were great, huge portions and authentically Chinese food, yet not too greasy so it didn't feel bad to eat - I liked the free gyozas that came with the food - The eggplant and chow fun and mapo tofu combo was really filling, and it came with a great chicken egg soup - Mongolian beef also had a lot of flavor - Really simple casual ambiance, and clean interior Bad: - Took a while for the food to come, but nice staff Overall a solid Chinese food place, felt authentic and would try other things on the menu in the future.

Good food, nice service. They served the food really fast. Simple restaurant inside, but warm and cozy. Braided tofu with broccoli and veggie fried rice were above average. Hot and sour soup was delicious! Walnut shrimp, general tso chicken were also really good. Great spot. Menu prices need to be updated.

I was in the area and in a bit of a rush to get some food before doing something. I saw Makli and decided to order some to go food. The restaurant was quiet and the chef / owner took my order of mushu pork over rice and prepped it quickly. Order was tasty and no complaints. The portion size was a little on the small size. But beyond that, if i'm in the area again, i know where to get some chinese food

Really disappointed with my order in so many levels. -Hot and sour soup was sweet. WHY? also portion was ridiculously small.- honey walnut shrimp was extremely small ans the walnuts were BURNED and bitter- chicken wings tasted ok but again super small portions- bbq pork fried rice lacked any flavor at all. Had to dump a bunch of soy sauce from home on it to have any flavor $55 for dinner was very unsatisfying. Go elsewhere.

I was at a birthday party. Part of the spread was some chinese food. We arrived at the party on Saturday, May 12th around 5pm.I was starving, so I dug into the Peking Duck Buns: Peking-style roasted duck wrapped in Chinese soft bun. They were room temp, but I didn't care. The duck had nice flavor, though I like my buns with more green onion and hoisin sauce. I later had another heated up and it helped with the hardness of the bun. Made if softer and fluffier. I went online to look at their menu and price wise, it looks like it's $12 for 4 buns? A little pricey for my taste. I'd rather just get a whole order. And give me the whole duck. Not just the outside part used for the buns. (I know it's not the norm, but we always ask for it at family dinners.)Pretty good buns. Just a little too rich for my blood.
