Maison Verbena at One Market Place in San Francisco is a gem! The ambiance is chic and inviting, perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends. The cocktails are expertly crafted, with unique flavors that stand out. The food menu offers a great mix of elevated dishes, all beautifully presented and delicious. We brought their Ube cookies all the way back to Minnesota and tried them after four days--and they were still incredible! Each flavor--mango, Ube, and strawberry--had its own unique twist, with the Ube flavor standing out as rich and perfectly balanced. The fact that they tasted fresh even after the journey speaks volumes. The Ube cake was another highlight, with its soft, moist texture and just the right amount of sweetness.Service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a classy yet relaxed evening in the city.

Came a Saturday around 11AM! It was very busy (the usual Ferry Building busy of a Saturday morning). I was walking around asaw their pastries, all looked very tasty. There was a line of 4 people in front of me, but the staff was so fast. I ordered and got my cornetto in less than 5 minutes.I ordered the pistachio cornetto and it was delicious. The pistachio butter/spread filling was perfectly sweet and salty. However, I think they were very light on the amount of spread. I would've appreciate a bit more or a better distribution through the whole pastry. Overall, the cornetto was fluffy and a very fresh. I would definitely come again and try more pastries from their selection!

The last time I passed by this stall in the Ferry Building, I ordered the Pandan Coconut Crinkle Cookie. I wasn't the biggest fan of it since the cookie felt underbaked. This time around, there was a bigger variety and the Raspberry Pistachio Croissant ($6.50) caught my eye.+One of the biggest croissants I've had! 3 of us shared it as a snack before lunch.-Soft & chewy: Not crispy at all-The only pistachio were the sprinkles on the top. I expected pistachio in the filling but there was only raspberry jam inside.*Verdict: I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I was walking around the Ferry Building I'd stop by to take a look at the offerings.

Someone brought in a box of 5 cookies (Uber, strawberry, mango, orange chocolate, pandan) to the office to share. Coworkers split and devoured the ube in an instant so I didn't get to try it. I tried a small piece of the orange chocolate, mango, pandan, strawberry. These are not your normal cookies - they are fluffy and cake-y, which was a surprise. Not my preference for cookies though. Orange chocolate was chocolate and moist, like eating a slice of cake. Mango and strawberry flavor was more subtle. Pandan was strong coconuty. Overall cool to see Asian inspired flavors.

saw this in passing at the ferry building this past weekend and this reminded me as to why filipino culture is important in the authenticity of the food! i recently saw an article about "ube" being widely available in practically everything and heres a good example as to why my tasting of these treats didnt meet my expectationsfirst of all, they didnt take like ube! like house of silvanas definitely has better sansrival than here! the cannoli shell was the winner for the ube cannoli, which also fell short in the flavor department! well now i know!

Came across this pastry kiosk inside of the Ferry Building and loved all the Asian inspired flavors they had! We picked an ube muffin and their new ube pandesal, which was my favorite. The ube muffin was definitely a pretty little thing but the fresh bread was the winning bite. The workers were so nice too! They also had a bunch of different crinkle cookie flavors that looked super yummy as well, so I hope we'll be able to try those next time!

We live here in SF, and decided to get some local holiday gifts at the Ferry Building. We had looked online, and wanted 4 candles at this store. When we walked in today, one guy was tripping over himself trying to help someone who, even I could tell, wasn't going to buy anything, and that person walked out. We were patiently looking at other items, when another salesperson was so shockingly rude to us, we decided we could buy candles elsewhere. It was a little annoying, after having gone down there to purchase some things.

I stumbled upon this little kiosk at the end of the Ferry Building. The view of Asian-flavored pastries lured me in. The cashier was really kind and they also accept Apple Pay!Of the various options, I tried their Mochi Matcha Muffins. It was not bad! A strong matcha flavor, but I wish it had a chewier mochi texture. They had so many crinkle cookies too! I tried the Mango and Pandan Coconut flavors. Soooo fluffy and the exterior has a nice bite to it. I would definitely buy these again. On the pricey side, but a nice treat.
