Lucky Strike San Francisco

My cousin did an unintentional bar/party crawl for her birthday and we had a TIME!! We started at Kaiyo, Lucky Strike, Saloon, and then another lounge in FiDi (forgot the name). Kaiyo was okay, but Lucky Strike is really where our fun began. Our server Sunny made sure the Birthday Girl felt loved!! Not only that, but he was SO FUN and super attentive! We even asked for recommendations on where to keep the party going and he did not disappoint! He definitely made our night :)

Booked a large company party here for 50 people and was pretty disappointed. For 50 people, they gave us 2 lanes in an area upstairs. When we arrived for our 5pm reservation, they were still setting up and mopping. We didn't get into the space until about 5:25pm. They seemed like they were understaffed because the food and drinks kind of took a while to come out. The cocktails tasted watered down. The bowling balls looked very old and some had chips in them.. definitely worn down. The worst part of it all - the beef sliders we ordered were LITERALLY cold and pink inside. Extremely undercooked. We notified the staff and they did not seem to care at all.Long story short, there are other bowling alleys in the area that aren't big corporate owned like Lucky Strike that I'd rather support in the future... much better service and food.. .. cooked food at minimum.

Over the holidays, I attended a company party at Lucky Strike.I'd have to say it's probably the perfect place for a group outing in San Francisco.The place itself is very attractive.The food is delicious, and the bowling is very nice.Can't think of a better team-bonding idea than getting together to throw a few frames.The last time I bowled, I was a teenager, but with a little coaxing, I was out there being rooted on and vice versa.Our area seemed all to our own because it was able to be sectioned off with curtains, assuring our own private space.Highly recommended!

We came at 5pm on Halloween day and the entire place was empty. Score!We got our shoes promptly and they started up our lanes. The venue is really nice with plush leather couches and a small arcade attached. It's a good spot for team building.If you're serious about bowling, it's probably not the best spot. The balls were pretty damaged and there weren't many to choose from. The screens are smaller and you don't get cool stats like ball speed or any playback visuals. Minus 1 star.Minus 2 stars for service. There was one grumpy waitress working and our tower of beer was almost room temperature. When I told her it seemed flat, she corrected me with "It's not flat. It's just WARM." My bad, now it's tasty right.I asked for sauvignon blanc. She said they didn't have any at the moment and seemed annoyed.I got my drink about 20 minutes later than everyone else despite us being the only group there.She never came around again for the rest of the night, so I went to the front of the establishment to hunt for someone to order from. I was offered sauvignon blanc so obviously I said I wanted that. Then the waitress came back around and said, "As I said before, we do NOT have sauvignon blanc." Everyone was in awe at that level of attitude from a server on such a not busy day. We still tipped the max because the company was paying for it and we had excess dollars, and hey - maybe she was having a bad day. But don't take it out on someone that did nothing to you

The servers are great here! Friendly and quickly serve drinks. They don't skimp on the alcohol; pretty strong! Food here is decent, but most of the options are deep-fried (chicken tenders, coconut shrimp, fries, cauliflower wings, etc). Nothing wrong with the bowling alleys! A little outdated, but it does the job. You definitely get a nostalgic bowling alley vibe when you're here. Bowling shoes are clean and don't have a terrible smell to them. The bowling area gets REALLY HOT though. It seemed to lack air conditioning.

Great spot for corporate events -- seemed like most of the groups there on a weekday evening were work teams. They have a decently sized menu for food and drinks; I wasn't expecting much in terms of food but enjoyed the nachos and their tacos. Would avoid the sushi and fries.Docking two stars because the actual bowling experience wasn't the best. We kept on having technical difficulties (pins were incorrectly counted throughout the night) and overall felt like an old/outdated system.

Love this place, great service and the food and drinks are always good. Upscale bowling alley with an arcade and full bar. Perfect for a night out

We had a great time, but if you are a bowler, read this! I brought all my equipment not realizing this was not a normal bowling alley.There is absolutely no oil on the lanes! My ball hooked right into the gutter when I was standing all the way at 35. My spare ball also hooked right into the gutter. My ball got knicked so after a couple throws so I used the house balls. The food and drinks were good.

The food took a whole hour to arrive the drinks were really watered down, we ordered the appetizer sampler and 2 burgers and 2 drinks came out to 133$ and for some reason there's an 18% service fee definitely not worth is and the service was so bad, they brought us the wrong food twice and our server(Sonny I think was his name ) even walked by and made fun of us for our food not being there like who's fault is that :( You will only see me coming back if I want to play pool at lucky strike
