Visiting the area and Stopped in due to the amazing yelp reviews. I must admit, Wow what an amazing sandwich!!! The porchetta was recommended on a French roll with turkey added.Helpful and friendly staff and definite staple for the area.

Overall a tasty sandwich and quick to order and pick up.Turkey provolone sandwich pictured was nice and enjoyed the Dutch roll bread. This didn't have a lot of sauce so tasted a bit dry. Wished there were more veggie toppings to accompany the meat, and certainly notice a smaller sandwich portion compared to past.Someone else ordered with Veggie sandwich was good with sprouts and tastes fresh on Dutch roll. Right amount of sauce.

We were in town for a music festival at Golden Gate Park and walked by this place on our first day and made sure to stop by on the second day to grab a sandwich to bring to the park. The sandwiches are huge so we decided to split one. My husband stayed behind to order it while I went ahead to the park. My husband it not one to compliment businesses at all so I was surprised when he went on and on about how nice and kind the guy was that made the sandwich. I can attest that he sure makes a great sandwich!We split a tuna with pretty much everything (the choices of condiments include lettuce, tomatoes, pickles mustard, mayonnaise, jalapeños, onions, pepperoncini, oil, and vinegar). It was super fresh and very tasty! And reasonably priced! My husband also bought a couple beers -- it was nice that the music festival allowed the public to bring their own drinks and food.We would definitely go back here!

Stopped by Lucca to grab lunch and some drinks while we were in town. This mom and pop shop gives me a nostalgic feel from childhood. The sandwiches here are made to order, with some awesome options to select from. You can never go wrong with a mortadella sando on Dutch crunch! The staff were great and patient, Billy offering sandwich recommendations to my partner. Lucca has a huge selection of craft beers as well, which is one of the reasons we wanted to stop by. My partner ordered a tuna sandwich on Dutch crunch (duh) and both sandwiches were delicious. Definitely can't wait to stop by again when we visit!

I came in today to rescue a "Too Good 2 Go " bag & got bread with molds! I work in education therefore I am not very wealthy & I also do not want to waste money nor food! The guy handed me a big bag with the sandwich breads which contained molds! I was gonna make sandwiches for my family & colleagues to wrap up a week of chaos & this is what I get! I contacted Too Good to Go app & demanded a full refund in the form of money back to my card or app credits. #UNJUSTIFIED #UNKOSHER

Great stop for a quick sandwich bite. They have two small tables in front or you can just take it to-go. Mini mart inside if you wanna grab some chips on the side or drinks. DIY your own sandwich or order one of the pre-made selections. I got the Italian Combination #2 and it was very filling. Was enough to share half with some chips. They have cold and hot options. Close to Golden Gate Park stop!

Great place for me to get a good sandwich whenever I go on my lunch early in the morning!

When we still lived in the Sunset, a visit to Lucca was almost a daily event.Whether it was last minute beer, or to satisfy my craving for their Italian Combo or Billy's Philly sandwich, we were always greeted with a smile and great customer service.Great location close to GG park for events like Outside Lands and Hardly Strictly. Grab a sandwich and head to the park within minutes!
