Great pieces delicious blend of Mexican in Filipino food between the way they prepare the foods and cook it. Seasoning is amazing. Great prices too very filling large portions very authentic as well in a unique approach to food.

Food is so so. Service sucks as said by many here. I'd ordered an egg and rice bowl with steak. I clarified how many eggs came with it. Guy at register said 2. I checked the food when I got back to the stands and there was only one. Walked back to the food truck, asked why only one egg, he said, you get 2 for the plate. You ordered a bowl and only get one. Now why would I ask a question for something I didn't order? He was un-empathetic and seemed like someone simply unhappy. Get a life or get a new job that doesn't involve dealing with people.I would recommend passing this place up. Not worth it.

For quite a while now, whenever I think of Filipino food trucks, my brain immediately defaults to Senor Sisig. Not only are they usually the best truck on any given night at Spark Social, they're one of the best trucks around anywhere! So, Los Kuyas, you'll have to forgive me for not checking you guys out earlier - I just wasn't familiar with your game! Now, in my defense, Los Kuyas isn't much to look at...literally. Compared to some of their neighbors here at Spark Social, they've they're more of a food trailer than a food truck! Yet, if there was ever the perfect example of "small but mighty", they just might be it. What they may lack in stature is more than made up for in what they have to offer! At a glance, the menu looks fairly simple - a Filipino-Mexican food truck with traditional Filipino flavors (sisig, tocino, bistek, etc.) stuffed inside typical Mexican offerings like burritos, tacos, and nachos. However, there's nothing simple about what I tried!-- NACHOS with SISIG - Nacho Cheese, Sour Cream, and Salsa with Sisig (Savory Buttery Pork with Jalapenos, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Cheese, and Chicharron)...$10.50(https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/los-kuyas-san-francisco-4?select=gBAFCvmBlbEy9IR02hPO_g)This was far better than I could've hoped for! I loved how loaded the nachos were and how it had both shredded cheese and cheese sauce, but the sisig was the star. It wasn't as acidic as I expected, but the bits of pork were crispy, had a nice kick, and were just so deliciously good!-- STREET TACO TRIO with Choice of Meats - Lemon Pepper Chicken Adobo, Longanisa (Sweet Pork), and Tocino (Sweet Bacon)...$7(https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/los-kuyas-san-francisco-4?select=TwkCCQQEQPbqe5LLwA0L2w)This used to be just $5, but this is still quite the deal! The Longanisa was a bit too sweet for me, but the Tocino had the right mix of sweetness, fattiness, and meatiness. As for the Chicken Adobo, I liked that it wasn't overly tangy, but I do wish it had a bit more pepper. As far as service goes, I don't doubt the underwhelming experiences that some Yelpers seemed to have had, but I thought it was fine. The worker wasn't super friendly or engaging, but he graciously took our order and got our food to us relatively fast. Even if he took a while though, I don't think I could really complain, considering how Los Kuyas feels relatively budget friendly when it comes to food trucks. While I most definitely want to come back to see how the sisig burrito here compares to my go-to order at Senor Sisig, I haven't seen Los Kuyas at Spark Social the last couple of times I've been here. I'm not sure if that's just due to scheduling or if they're no longer part of the venue's rotation (it doesn't look like their spot has been taken over), but it's worth mentioning if you come here looking for them like how I was. If they really are gone, have no fear - they still have their spot inside Stonestown's food court, so at least they can be consistently found there!FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.

This is a permanent vendor at Spark Social, serving mexican filipino fusion dishes. Visited this past Saturday in the early evening and the truck was clearly open, but with no one inside to take orders (no sign indicating when the staff would be back, while the guy was outside doing who knows what). A couple other customers and I waited about 5-8 minutes in front of the truck before the worker returned to help us. Got the longanisa bowl, and it was okay. The egg was overcooked but not a big deal, the sweet pork was slightly lacking in flavor, and the rice was a good enough portion size if you don't wanna overeat. There's plenty of space and seating at Spark Social, and restrooms as well. The rice bowl here was decent, but I'm just not too impressed with this food truck.

Small portions and they need to work on their cutsomer service. I had to ask them several times for the chips and salsa that I bought for the crazy price of $3 and just to be jerks they spilled the salsa...the little thimble cup. Waste of money.Dry sisig bowl that maybe could fill a child. It's dry and the egg is super overcooked you can see from the picture. Not the best Filipino food truck out there, and definitely skimpy on that dry stringy meat. Also the dry rice really sticks to the paper bowl.Just a let down all the way.The ube horchata is very sugary sweet. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Food truck serving filipino-mexican fusion food. I tried their street tacos, which come in a pack of 3 (you can mix and match) for $7. I added another taco for a total of $9.50 and chose 1 toccino, 1 loganisa, 1 bistek, and 1 sisig. They came on 3 inch diameter corn tortillas and were a nice light lunch/snack. Good ratio of protein filling. I will definitely try them again the next time they travel through my area.

A Mexican-Filipino fusion truck that seems to be Mexican in format, but with Filipino flavored meats. So tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. Since the Filipino meats have so much personality, it really was quite a wonderful combination.Sisig Nachos: I like that they didn't try to be fancy and just used that kind of bowling alley nacho cheese sauce. However, no chips from the bag here, they used fresh made tortilla chips. Fried up thick and crispy so they didn't get soggy on the journey back to the office. The standard nacho toppings, but with some deliciously spiced sisig. I especially liked the chips in the corner that soaked up some of that yummy vinegary sauce.Tocino Burrito: Slightly sweet pork gives this otherwise normal burrito a nice upgrade. Tocino is pretty intense so all the carbs of the tortilla and rice carry it well. I like that they toasted the sides of the burrito, for a little texture contrast.Ubechata: I like ube anything, so this was hit. Creamy and quite sweet. Very rich, so I actually preferred drinking this a little later in the day as an afternoon dessert "milkshake".

Loved this food truck! I came across Los Kuyas in San Jose during an event and finally had the opportunity to try it for the first time. I believe they also have a physical location over at Stonestown Mall, and it seems that the truck frequents Spark Social in San Francisco too.We tried the Sisig Nachos, which was $10 (+ guac which was an additional few $$). The portion was great for the price - the nachos were generously loaded and the service was fast and friendly too.The sisig was good! Lots of savoriness, although I do think it could've used a bit more vinegar. The chips seemed freshly made which gave it the perfect amount of crunch, but there was also a large pool of oil at the bottom of our container that was difficult to avoid.Overall: good food, loved the fusion options they had available, and great service!

food truck review.delicious.would i eat there again? absolutely.had the 3 tacos. longanisa, tocino, and sisig. the oil drippings from the sisig was glorious. luckily i had chips at my desk for taco drippings nachos, otherwise, buy the chips and salsa. the meat was in order of 3rd to 1st. the longanisa i would pass next time because it was a bit too sweet, but don't get me wrong - it was good.my office buddy got the bowl with the adobo. kind of like french fries in a bag, not all of them made it back.... ;-) the adobo was also very good. (don't worry my fork only went in once).3 street tacos for 7, is something that i could easily accommodate. for the portion size is fair. for the adobo it weighted over a pound. much of it was rice, but that's still a fair portion. for the order turn around, the cashier would step away every 3rd or 4th person to help with plating and delivery. he was a nice guy. seemed super chill. the eggs are cooked fresh once the meal is ordered. did i mind, no. unreasonable, no. did i notice, yes.
