I used to come here since it was a block away from my office and it was a great "grab and go" place when I had limited time between meetings. Anything with the lamb gyro is delicious! Also the people who work here are very friendly.

I had the really good super gyro with lamb/beef and got the added hot sauce. Service was fast and friendly plus the meal reasonably priced for SF. I will definitely be back for future quick lunches.

Such a great little spot. I ordered the falafel plate and a gyro salad with one dolma and 1 baklava. I truly enjoyed the falafel plate. The falafels were very good, cooked perfectly, very tasty. The hummus , tahini and salad were yummy!!! The gyro salad is delicious, they do need to add a bit more gyro tho. The blend of beef and lamb just tickles your taste buds followed by the delicious fresh crunch of the fresh veggies and that vinaigrette... perfect The dolma was dried out, came in a paper bag and had no olive oil on it and the baklava was not buttery at all but the nuts were tasty .

This is one of the best value lunch spots in FiDi, and one of the few places where you could still get lunch under $10 (as of May 2024). I got a lamb/beef gyro with a side of a Greek salad. The pita was fresh and fluffy and the meat was well-seasoned. It seemed to be pretty busy with the lunch rush inside, but I ordered ahead via UberEats pickup. The employees were very friendly and the service seemed to move quickly. There was a bit of a confusing situation where I placed two pickup orders due to someone else at my office wanting food as well, but the employees handled this extremely well, giving me an estimate for when the second order would be ready and handling it all with a smile. I'll be back to try the plates, shawarmas, and the gyros again!

Ordered the marinated chicken plate.Maybe there should be a chicken shawarma that would be better. The chick was marinated but there wasn't much flavor let along aroma.Good mixture of greens and hummus, think still prefer shawarma wrap.

Lovely little spot in FiDi, while the usual meal in the area can rack up to $20 quickly, Locali has one of the cheapest, yet still delicious food options in the area.I ordered the beef shawarma and it was delicious and flavorful. Personally found it better than Souvla, a popular destination in the city, although it was definitely not the best I've ever had either.Service was quick and friendly, and I was also truly happy to see how many regulars came in in the moment I was there, who seemed to know the owners like family. Will definitely try again!

I eat the same salad here every day! The staff is fun, quick, and always remember my order! The lamb here is delicious. A Greek salad made with love, a classic that not to many get right, but they make it perfect here! Again best Greek salad in the financial district

I admit, I'm a one-item customer. They make the best lamb gyro wrap - tender meat, fresh vegetables and just enough tatziki sauce. Great for a cheap lunch.

Please do not support this place, Tania, the female owner/manager verbally harasses and dehumanizes the workers. Instead, you can visit Sababa, Oasis Grill, or Barcha in the surrounding area. However, if you choose to support this place, I invite you to listen and closely observe the manager and worker interactions around peak lunchtime. I came to this restaurant around 12 pm on a weekday about a month ago and was immediately greeted with the most grotesque and dehumanizing attitude by Tania, female owner/manager towards the staff. Her verbal harassment and mannerisms were not only imposing, they were very micromanaged and flat-out disrespectful. I observed that the workers were very afraid of making a mistake which made them feel incompetent. Within the five minutes that I was waiting for my order, I observed that as a worker prepared the food, the manager/owner stood right behind him pointing out his every move from what he did wrong to immediately yelling at him in an agitated tone to "correct him." The female manager/owner also yelled at this worker because he did not know where to place the food. Lastly, she was visibly agitated when he forgot to call my name for my order. I was immediately shocked that a person could treat another in such a horrid way. I felt very uncomfortable waiting for my order as I observed this horrible treatment. This business SERIOUSLY NEEDS SOME CHANGES in their management and ownership and needs city inspection. It makes me sad to see a manager/owner treat workers so poorly to the point that they feel INCOMPETENT. It was appalling. I wouldn't be surprised if the owner/manager threatens the workers, withholds payments, and/or doesn't pay the workers the hours that she should. I hope the workers know that this working environment is not healthy and report it to the city and/or a working rights labor union.To Tania: Please change your ways, change your attitude, and change your management style immediately. Workers have rights and they deserve to be treated RESPECTFULLY. Without the workers and customers, you have no business.

Im in SF today and was looking to see what's open downtown unfortunately Locali is closed on the weekend. I'm reviewing this place again as I saw a post by karina that couldn't be further than the truth! She obviously doesn't know Tania or the staff at all. Why support a business of you were greeted with grotesque behavior? Why not walk out? I'm not sure how a person can tell what others are feeling, you must have mutant powers. Furthermore, the accusations that you're making are horrendous you should really be ashamed of yourself. Maybe in the past you were mistreated so you feel that everyones in the same boat. please snap back into reality Karen. Those employees have been there for a long time.
