Stopped back around 11:15AM on a Wednesday morning, there was no line. It looked like there was only one person working there, so I had to wait a few minutes before someone came out from the back to take my order. I got the garlic focaccia for $9, which comes in a pretty big piece. The focaccia is super soft and the garlic was very yummy. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area again.

Cute little focaccio shop near Washington Square park. I think they only sell focaccio and focaccio-related merch such as t-shirts. Take out only; no seating available at the shop. They carefully wrapped it with paper and kitchen string. I opted for the rosemary-garlic topping; so delicious! You could make a quick and fun picnic at the nearby park with this focaccio plus some meat and/ or cheese from Molinari's nearby.

Today I was very lucky to see that there were still products left! You need to get there early. I ordered 2 pizzas, 1 mushroom and 1 olive. The gentleman is a one person operation and he's great and efficient. The ambiance reminds me of the bakeries in Italy. Make sure you get there early as they sell out quickly!

2024 on the Saturday before the Super Bowl with the 49ers playing, staying across the street I watched people started lining up at 5am for the focaccia for this place. North Beach is where my wife grew up and this bakery we had to visit which we did, standing in line for easily 90 minutes hoping to get inside before they sell out before noon, we made it and loved it. We took two home back to LA the next day. Now it's 2025, on a normal Saturday, thankfully no line but damn is this fantastic focaccia. Every time we stay in North Beach, if this place is open, only open till noon M-Sat, we will always stop by to pick up, great breakfast, and take a bunch home to LA.

I'm so glad they are still around. Instead of the ladies, it was a man. No lines. Got my garlic and ate it at the park. So pillowey, $7. Asked to cut in slices. Easy to eat.

Nestled in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, this beloved establishment, founded in 1911, is renowned for its exceptional focaccia bread--a treat that has kept locals and visitors coming back for generations.Upon entering the store, you're immediately struck by its old-world charm. The bakery has retained much of its original character, from the simple, unpretentious decor to the friendly, familial atmosphere. Liguria offers a variety of flavors, including classic options like plain, garlic, and rosemary, as well as more adventurous choices like pizza focaccia. The focaccia is not only delicious but also incredibly versatile. The rosemary garlic focaccia, in particular, is a standout, with its robust flavor and perfect balance of herbs and spices. They have a pesto and cheese flavor on Saturday, and it's definitely a favorite. The service at Liguria Bakery is as warm and inviting as the bread itself. Definitely a true gem! With its impeccable focaccia and heartfelt service, it's a place that makes you feel right at home, and keeps you coming back for more.

I was first here 35 years ago on an eating tour and we stopped by this fabulous bakery, which serves nothing but focaccia and they close when they're all sold out. They really expanded over the years now they sell, more than half a dozen types. My favorite has always been the raisin for Kio followed by the green onion, followed by the plane. I have tasted the olive as it was my husband's favorite and it's good too. The bread is wrapped in butcher paper and tied up with a string
