After failing to find conchas at another spot around 10:30am on a Sunday, we stumbled upon La Victoria! The panaderia itself was pretty spacious, which is nice compared to some others. They had a few conchas left so I got the one that seemed to be almost gone. Went over to Dolores Park to enjoy the pastry. Overall was a 3/5, flavor was almost there but it was just really dry. Considering I did get it later in the morning, it might just be that it wasn't as good due to laying out for while -- so would definitely take that into consideration.

Good pan dulce and reasonably priced. Their chocolate chip polverones are very good and if you are ok with day-old's they often have bags for a couple dollars. Good with a dunk in milk or coffee!

I happened to see that La Victoria was on Too Good to Go while I was in SF, so I decided to order a $5.99 surprise bag. Service was friendly and quick for getting the bag. They gave me a huge quantity of different breads (pan dulce) in varying levels of sweetness, including some conchas. The bread was decent, not the tastiest or most remarkable that I've had and tended to be more on the dry or crumbly side and some were quite dense. However, I'll still give them a 4 star because of the generous amount of bread for the price.

Good price. We got three different types. Mexican pastry style Conchas. Two were very dry and stale. Taste was not bad but not good. I have had so much better ones elsewhere. Also it didn't necessarily look clean. No parking lot. Its street parking and the area is a-bit scary.Service was pretty nice though. Probably wont be back.

Stopped in after passing by many times because I really wanted conchas. The lady was very kind and there were so many pastries that I wanted to try. I believe the minimum for card was $5 so I had to purchase more than I intended but I didn't mind. They were very subtle and not as flavorful as I was expecting but it did fulfill my craving

La Victoria is one of those places that's been woven into the fabric of my family's life. For over 30 years, we've been grabbing conchas de chocolate and sipping hot chocolate from here--it's a combo that never fails to comfort. Located at the iconic corner of 24th & Capp Street, this bakery is a staple of the Mission. The ambiance is filled with warmth, laughter, and the sounds of friendly chatter--sometimes you'll even hear the latest trends in Latin America being debated over a hot coffee. Their service? Absolutely phenomenal, always with a smile. And trust me, the trick is to get there in the morning to snag your pan dulce while it's fresh out of the oven. It's the perfect place to relive the simpler days with the ones you love.

I was truly surprised to see this panaderia reopen several blocks away from its original location because that closure felt so, well, final. In what looks like a smaller space, it's still on 24th but at a more trafficked spot at Capp. They're still serving all shapes and sizes of pan dulce but now they're in individual containers on a long counter. Although I could've brought a wheelbarrow, I settled for a thick slice of pound cake (panque), and believe me, it didn't disappoint (photo: https://bit.ly/3u9jhVk). Mexican baked goods are never as sweet as they look, and that's what I find attractive about them. I'm sure there's a dark story behind the real estate roundelay (Google it yourself), but I'm just glad to see them back.BAKED GOODS - 4 stars...nice, moist pound cake and not overly sweetAMBIANCE - 4 stars...still has a folksy vibe, prepare to take it to goSERVICE - 4 stars...still sunnyTOTAL - 4 stars...welcome back, La Victoria RELATED - Exploring the Mission? Te envían el pan que ellos quieren, no el que tú pagaste. No entiendo porque no tienen la educación de llamar y solucionar ese problema. Uno paga por la comida, no estoy pidiendo regalado ni fiado
