La Mediterranee Catering

We used La Mediterranee for a small gathering and the service was impeccable. The catering trays were absolutely PERFECT! I would use them again, again and again!

We live in Nashville. Tennessee. We were attending my niece's graduation from Stanford University. We hosted a party for her at our house on Marina Drive. My husband and I visited the Catering kitchen in person and met, Jim, the manager. He could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The next day I picked up the food and he also helped me find a server to help with the party. The food was amazing. I would recommend this company in this restaurant to anyone. Great place for diners with Celiac and those without. Lots of Gluten Free items on the menu. Prompt efficient service, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

(Posting a review from 10/04/2015 since it actually belongs here.)We have a catered lunch every Friday at work. This past Friday, October 2nd, our company got lunch from La Mediterranee. It arrived around 12:30pm. I talked to the person who coordinated it and she said she used ZeroCater to place our lunch order.Everything below was served family style:*Chicken Pomegranate*Hummos*Spinach and Feta Filo*Falafel*Green Salad*Rice Pilaf*Pita*DolmaI loved the chicken, hummus and salad. The chicken was super tender. The hummus was smooth and great as a sauce on everything. Really good flavor. And I'm a girl who loves greens, so I had two helpings of salad. The falafel, pita and dolma were pretty good, but those weren't very warm when they arrived, so I had a texture issue with them as they were a little hard. I liked the spinach and feta filo, but I don't like whole chickpeas, so I found myself picking them out. (Yes, I love hummus, but I don't like whole chickpeas. Weird, I know, but it's a taste and texture thing.) I didn't try the rice pilaf, so I can't comment on that dish.My coworker said this is one of her favorite Mediterranean places and I can see why. I just wish the hot food had arrived hot. Or at least warmer than it did. Cold falafels and mushy dolmas took away from my meal a bit. Next time, I wanna go in and try their lamb lule. It sounds like the dish to get! Hopefully the falafels will be fresh and hot!

One of the fave places for catering, La Mediterranee Catering brings tasty Mediterranean classics straight to you. The Mediterranean Mezza is an all-encompassing option if you're looking for variety that's got something for everyone. You have some chicken and lamb plus all the the mezza classics like hummus, babaganoush, and tabuleh. You also get some pinwheel sandwiches, some chicken and raisin filo pastry, and spanokopita. Don't forget the dolmas and rice pilaf. It's lots of options and they're all really tasty. Just under $20 per person with a 10 person minimum. Looking for catered lunch that veers away from the typical salad/sandwich combo? Definitely consider La Mediterranee Catering.

La Med is really the original Mediterranean restaurant in my book. They kind have invented the genre. I have been to their restaurants for over 25 years and have never had a bad meal. Only complaint is that they have not planted themselves out here in the Crick.However, this review is about their excellent catering service. I literally called them at 4pm the day before my event and they delivered.The only tips I can give you is to kind of followTheir lead on recommendations and not to over order.The platters they suggested were picked clean. Not so much on the sweets or the salad.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. I called to order food for a staff meeting and the person on the phone was friendly, fun and gave great advice. We ended up with just the right amount of food. It arrived right on time and was delicious. We have one vegan, several meat eaters and 2 GF people. Everyone was extremely happy and full by the end of the meeting. I would definitely do this again in the future and recommend it with no reservations.

La Med catered our May 2024 wedding in San Francisco and we were blown away by the food and amazing, professional service! Guests raved about how delicious the food was, including the variety of buffet options for guests with different dietary requirements - everybody had something delicious to eat. Vanick and his team were also perfect, flexible, and on top of everything: they were a capable, reassuring team who ensured everything went smoothly, even in a relatively small space with a crowded, non-traditional event. We couldn't recommend La Med more highly!

Great option for catering: Good food, nicely presented, friendly staff, and excellent value. Particularly good for finger foods for an occasion where you want to keep everyone up and socializing. Management will work with you to make your event just as fancy or as simple as you'd like. We would use them again!
