Adorable pastry shop with wide selection of high quality pastries. We came here for the raspberry pistachio croissant, and we got super lucky and were able to snag their last one! Their raspberry pistachio croissant is a MUST-try. Inside is a raspberry puree that is to die for. The pastry was not overly sweet either which I appreciate. The croissant dough was so flaky and had the perfect texture. The pistachio topping added a nice crunch! We also shared the Kouign-amann, which was a pastry filled with a cream cheese & raspberry puree filling. I personally liked the raspberry pistachio croissant a bit better, but if you're looking for a rich, sweet dessert, then this is the one to get! The workers were super nice and she offered to cut up the croissant into pieces for us to share. Highly recommend stopping by!

I go to the La Boulangerie in Hayes Valley more often than this one, but my hubby likes to visit this one when we are in Pac Height. I sometimes forget this bakery is here because it's on a side street off Fillmore. Great French style pastries. Less menu offerings than their Hayes Valley counterparts. Nice service.Located on Pine and Fillmore.

It was such a nice day out that my friend and I wanted to grab some coffee and catch up. We never saw an almond croissant latte before so we ordered that and a power chai. The power chai was ready super fast and the latte took a while. It was pretty toasty inside the cafe, so we opted to sit outside since it was also a nice day outside. There also wasn't too much seating available, at least compared to the Hayes location. That said, it was very cozy inside and vibes were good.Regarding the drinks, the power chai was amazing! Definitely would get it again-- my friend who doesn't even like chai said it was good be good because the spice wasn't too overpowering. The almond croissant latte honestly didn't have too much of an almond croissant flavor-- it kind of just tasted like a regular latte.

It's good to see La Boulange survive the bux takeover and COVID. I dropped by here while I was in the neighborhood. Service was quick and polite. I picked up an apple turnover chocolate croissant and a kougin amann. The kougin amann has a raspberry filling, the pastry isn't too sweet. For some reason it's baked inside a paper cup. The carnelized bottom was stuck to the paper cup. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Cute little french bakery in SF! I thought they had pretty good pastries. If you're craving a baguette sandwich or almond croissant, this is a great spot. I enjoyed and recommend!

There are around 10-15 seats inside, and it's warm and smells nice inside. The pastries are delicious, and they didn't charge me extra for simple syrup in my latte!

One of the best bakeries I've ever been to! Seriously, I thought the pastries were as good as some I've had in Europe. The staff was also super friendly, and they had samples of some of the pastries! I got a strawberry cream tart, potato bacon onion tart and a ham and cheese croissant and all of them were delicious. I loved that the strawberry cream tart was very light and refreshing. It was perfectly crisp. The ham and cheese was pretty cheesy but heated up, it was perfection. I also ordered an ice latte, and I liked that it was not too milky. I could really taste the espresso! It was perfect with my pastries. The only con was that there was no restroom available and not too much seating. I will be back the next time I'm in San Francisco!

Stopped by La Boulangerie with a friend for coffee and eats.We had a few of the pastries, but the ham and cheese croissant was the one I enjoyed the most. I had a cold brew as well which was good. Some seating inside. Back seating is very hot with all the machinery. There are a few tables outside as well.Street parking only.

I just tried the churro croissant. the crust was perfectly flakey, the top of the croissant was sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon, and it was lightly filled with a creamy/fluffy filling. I would definitely recommend. I can't wait to go back and try more bakery items. The bakery has a few small tables inside and outside, but not many.

Was in San Francisco for a mini vacation, and decided to get something quick from la boulangerie since my wife and I are huge fans of their croissant loaf (amazing for French toast).Don't have any pictures to offer and did take it to go. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant, and will say that mine was pretty good, maybe not as flakey as it could have been but pretty good. We also ordered the brioche bacon egg and cheese. The egg was soft and tasty, unfortunately the bread I think was over toasted maybe and was a little hard.We also ended up ordering the chocolate croissant and hazelnut croissant which were both pretty good as well.Overall really good just wish they hadn't toasted that brioche so much. Service was pretty quick and don't have any complaints about the location. Would order again from this location.
