Kung Fu Action Theatre

Fun place! Very vibey inside and well decorated to fit its title and theme. Came on a Saturday night right after a concert. Although there were a few people we still had a good time chatting with locals and the bartender. Love how welcoming everyone was and the drinks were very reasonable. Definitely check this place out for a unique spot to grab a drink and hangout. Also comfortable theater like seats, free popcorn, and wild decorations!Thanks again for letting us pet Chucho the dog!

Another gem in the TL! The space is a 15/10 for the decor, we loved all the kung fu collected magazines/posters and the bright light boxes to sit. This is a very divey spot serving cheap drinks and good vibes! They have good NA beer selection too. Not a spot for a fancy cocktail, but a cheap-ish beer and a goood yap with friends. There's also an animatronic dragon in the back which is cute.

So fun, great theme with awesome people! Best place to spend a late night, highly recommend!

THis was a very fun spot to visit. I went for a prvate brithday event themed EDC. My friend had decorated it with inflate led lit balloons, led lit wands, a kandi making station.The front had a popcorn machine, there was a electronic automated dragon, there were projected screens, and seats like a theater along the wall.The restroom at the back was pretty big. I loved the dance floor and different type of seating with all the decorations around. THey had drinks available, but I was not thirty this evening as I just wanted to make a special appearance for my frineds bday. I'd go back.

If ur gonna be out in the tenderloin, make it worthwhile and check this place out. Bartender activated the dragon after we tipped and made the vibe 100 times more awesome.The owner Tony is the raddest and hooked us up with some hot dogs!

This place is awesome! Went there for a st. Pattys day bar crawl and enjoyed some lovely drinks! I really live the layout as a kung fu movie fan and the animatronic dragon is my vibe. Definitely one of the most fun kitschy bars I've been to here. I will be back

Decided on a whim to head over here with a group of friends around 9pm on a Saturday night. Was delightfully pleased the bar wasn't very busy when we arrived so we quickly got drinks and headed in the back mirror room - very cool. Everyone we were with loved the decor and atmosphere. The bartenders were funny and casual, playing great music and giving the whole place a laid-back, fun vibe. Drinks are cheap, there's free popcorn, the photo booth is adorable, and there's a fun shower of bubbles every once in a while. Definitely recommend this spot, it was pretty poppin with a fun, diverse crowd at around 1:30am when we finally left

As a party of the SF Halloween bar crawling, I came here with 5 of my friends at around 11pm. The place was very very crowded and it was really hard to meet up with my friends who got there earlier than me. The place was very long and there were spaces far back. I really liked the theme of Chinese city and there were some dragons, lanterns, with some red lights - all of them made the space really consistent and very warming.The drink was okay and it was nice because it was only $5 as a part of bar crawl, but would not pay much more than that for the quality. And the music was also not my type and it was hard to dance with. Nice place to visit for the unique ambience experience but not for the drinks or the music.
