J&J Bakery

I was happy that there exists a bakery in the neighborhood, but this one was a disappointment.Lack of quality control at this place, there was a loaf of white bread that had mold growing out of it. We bought a cookie that was not good, it tasted old and stale. Plus the lady that worked there that day was snappy and not friendly.

I'm not sure how this place is still here. I popped in here when it first opened and bought a few things. They were so bad and stale! I took a bite of each item and tossed the rest. I hate wasting food. I saw ants crawling on the top shelf in front of the window. Not one or two ants but a whole continuous trail of them. I walk by occasionally at night when they're closed and I see lots of leftovers sitting in the displays. Things like bread and cookies. This explains why things are stale. They should advertise these things as "day old" and discount them. I haven't been back since and won't be going back.

I should've looked at the reviews first. But stoped by after getting dinner and big mistake. Everything tasted bad and like chalk! No flavor whatsoever. I should've known by the look of the cookies. Will not be backCash onlyStreet parking

Bought a slice of red velvet cake for my husband for his birthday this evening. Small slice was $8 and terrible. Dry. Barely edible. Wouldn't recommend.

Amazing chinese pastries here. The bbq pork bun is special - none of that red / dried pork you find in most other place's buns. The pork was freshly cooked, still warm on the inside, and homemade. The bolo bao was also delicious. Green onion pastry was among the better ones I've had too.Would highly recommend and I'll go back.

The danish is old, like left overnight bread. Will not come here again. So disappointed.

They used to have really good pork buns but now they have went drastically down in quality and it shows!!! Do better!!!

Came here once and got a hotdog + cheese bun that was pretty tasty. However, when I felt like getting another one on a different day, I saw the glass display had a bunch of flies flying inside all over the baked goods. No thanks, I immediately left the store and haven't been back since.

Waste of money. They sell not fresh cakes, pastries, donuts and cookies. They charge $8 for a small slice of a cake, which is a price for a good quality pastries. It didnt taste good, but the most disgusting thing, it was not fresh, probably a week old if not more, it was not stored appropriately probably too. What an embarrassment to bring to the party...I had to read reviews first. They shouldn't be in business.
