This is my husband's and my favorite poke spot in the city. Fresh fish, yummy toppings, and the flavorful sauces (sesame shoyu and chili oil combo is my personal favorite) always leave us satisfied. The manager, Will, has so much passion for poke, quality ingredients and creative additions to the menu. He and my husband (another Will) have actually become friends from how much we frequent this spot!Happy poke-consumption, Yelpers!

By now we all know the poke bowl drill: Choose your size, base, proteins, toppings, and garnishes. My hands-down favorite poke bowl and the best version I've ever had is in Orange County (Uroko) so in a way, every other poke bowl I consume is being compared to that. I'a Poke did a reasonably good job but if Uroko is 5-star (it is) then I'a Poke is 3-star. That said, I'm not in SoCal; I'm in NorCal and there's no Uroko here and I've not found a place that comes close. In NorCal, I'a Poke rates 4-stars. A medium bowl ran $16.75 pre-tax and if you throw in some extra cost items (e.g. mango) the cost can add up quite fast. The menu also offers some "signature poke bowls" at an additional cost (topping out at about $21) which take the guesswork out of optimizing your order.I ordered up a pretty decent poke bowl on my own, not best in class but good enough that I feel comfortable saying if you're looking for a poke bowl in the City you'll likely be satisfied by what I'a Poke is putting out.

I don't think I'd come back. I paid $20 for a bowl and couldn't eat it. The tofu was really hard and the spicy tuna tasted sour to me. They charged an extra dollar for a side of sauce. Just not worth the money to me. The bowl was pretty though!

Delicious. Got a large bowl and had to power through to finish it. I really like the marinated salmon but it has ALOT of onions. When my first scoop was mainly onion the guy making the bowl was very nice about re-scooping. Kind service. Good tasting food. Highly recommend. Best for to go.

I come here all the time!I love poke and this is a great lunch/fast dinner spot. My usual order which I know by heart now is:Large white rice bowl2 portions spicy tuna, 2 marinated tunaGreen onions + cilantroSesame shoyu, spicy mayo, chili oilFish eggs, crab, both seaweeds, edamame, sometimes avocadoTogarashi sesame seeds friend onions furikakeAnd a little more sesame shoyu on topI always take it to go but I like the music when I'm there. More electronic/pop vibes. I go there often and I think they know my order by now haha

Pretty decent poke bowls, especially considering the prices. I got a regular bowl with salmon, yellowtail, brown rice, tamago, masago, and kimchi. They have a nice selection of fish and toppings, and I like that they have yellowtail because some places don't. Not the most incredible presentation but it was good, the fish was great quality. I do wish the rice was warmer, it was just kind of room temperature. I don't have much else the say. The location is nice, it's really quiet inside but I was just getting a quick bite and heading out so it was ideal for that.

A small refuge amongst the busy streets of SF, I'a Poke was initially difficult to find just because the sign is small and black; however, it was pretty bright from the natural light once you stepped in. I thought the price was reasonable too: $13ish for a regular, which comes with two scoops of protein. I got the plain salmon and tuna, and they were both fresh. I also appreciated how the crab salad and seaweed salad were free (that is, you can choose up to a handful of sides and toppings). Everything, in other words, was pretty good but not amazing.

I live super close so it's a place which I go at least once a week. The food it's good, but lately they are closing before the time they said So today I got there 7 35 pm , when it supposed to close at 8 pm and it was already close so pretty disappointed. This happened to me a few times already :(

Reliable, great option whenever I'm craving a bit extra protein. I think the medium custom bowl is the best deal. :) Service is always great.
