Sandwich was prepared quickly and was delicious. They also have a lot of little things that you can run out of which is nice to pick up although can be a little more expensive.

I've been coming here for sandwiches for years always satisfied with my order. Unfortunately last week on 10/5/24 I ordered the roast beef sandwich for $12.99 expecting it to be a decent amount of meat for the price. Later while in the park, I unwrapped it and I noticed the tiny amount of roast beef maybe two thin slices at the most. The prices have increased over the years like everything else, but why has the quality come down? Maybe the guy working behind the counter that day needs to pay more attention on providing a decent sandwich for $12.99? I hope the owner reads this review so they can be aware of the sparse deli meat sandwich I had that looks nothing like the pics in other reviews.

This is all around a really great sandwich! Bread was good and the toppings and condiments were perfectly proportional, exactly how I would've made it myself. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the tuna was a little bit bland and I had to add salt and pepper - but other than that it was great and I will definitely be back. I ordered through Yelp and when I arrived at the pick up time they didn't seem to have seen my order, I recommend just walking in and ordering rather than using the app. They are very nice and made it right away so it didn't matter - just a tip for future customers!

Many corner stores in the North of Panhandle area near USF. I was walking in a quiet area of the neighborhood when I decided to get a sandwich today. I decided on one of my faves...the reuben. This reuben was very good and it had pickles in it and no thousand island dressing. Messy to eat, I ate it mostly on a city bench before walking to Target. Small conversation with the people at the shop.

Let me just say, I've tried many sandwiches from corner markets, but this G-thang right here...ummm, yess, it's something to scream about! First off, this market is easy to miss if you aren't familiar with the neighborhood. I've been working around this area for two years and have never noticed that they make sandwiches here. How was I missing out on something oh-so-good! My co-worker came into work stuffing his face with something that excited my nose:ME: "What 'da heck are you eating that smells so delicious?"HIM: "Those bomb sandwiches across the street!" (Mind you, he said that with a smirk on his face)ME: As I reach out my hand, I respond "Lemme' get a taste?"HIM: "Naw, this thang is too good to share. Go buy one to try for yourself"Yea, yea, yea, I was shocked that I got shut down from getting some of his sammich, but honestly, I don't blame him. These sandwiches are packed with goodness! I ordered the BLTA on dutch crunch, unfortunately, they didn't have dutch crunch bread that day, so I ordered the soft roll instead. Make sure you get everything on it! Just thank me later! Besides the delicious sandwiches, they also have an array of grocery items in here; everything from snacks to toiletries. The workers here are very personable and friendly. I strongly encourage you to come here for those delicious sandwiches; OMG, my mouth is salivating just thinking about it! You know what I'm having for dinner tonight right? HA!+What's up with the name of the market? Not very appealing, but hey! Happy Eats!

Best sandwich in the city (anywhere!). George, the owner, makes awesome specials most days (limited amount so go early). If you miss it all his sandwiches are stellar! They are the sweetest people and have been at this location for over 20 years. If you're looking for a taste of an authentic deli at unbeatable prices it's a must!!!For those with a sweet tooth... they have homemade baklava and brownies at the cashier counter that will take you to food Nirvana.

The deli area has macaroni and potato salad and it's not made in house. It the big bulk box stuff portioned into individual servings. For $2.99 a serving, it should be made fresh or at least marked as bulk cheap prepackaged garbage that has a prepackaged taste. I don't think it's legal to wrap and sell this stuff individually for sale. Not a good way to treat your local neighborhood patrons.*update, it is still prepackaged potatoes and macaroni salad and adding a sprinkle of paprika on top does not make it made 'in house'.

Everybody in The City, and any major city around the globe, has their local corner (aka convenience) store. What, you live in The City and don't!?! Go get one already, your missing out on a time honored tradition of every urban city dweller.This is a great "mom -n- pop" convenience store in NOPA. It's run by a Father, George, and son, Omar, combo. These guys rock - their friendly, the place is clean, dog friendly and they have the most random stuff that you wouldn't think a corner store would carry... They have delicious sandwiches for $5. A couple are $5.50, but everything is under $6, with the fixins. They have salads and other hot foods too. Don't see something? Ask, it's probably there. If not, let the guys know and they will try to hook you up next time. Ask not what your local corner store can do for you; ask what you can do for your local corner store. Seriously though, support your local business - that's one of the many things that make living in The City great and what life in The City is about.

Home Service Market has a deli, clean aisles and many unpriced microbrews. only 1 patron post noon.buys: orangina (16 oz) $2-ok price maybe.-avoided possible sticker shock by skipping beer.take outs:-friendly checkout....-skipped deli since no patrons there.....

Superb neighborhood bodega. You can grab a top-notch sandwich--I usually go veggie--and some fava beans and pomegranate molasses in the same stop. A bunch of really great prepared foods. They're also just super nice.
