Hilda's Hopia is the BEST! No frills shop, but quality products. Glad they're here in the Bay Area.

They could improve on being more pleasant. They can improve on servicing prepaid orders during peak times.Quality is going down

Cash only. The best spot for puto and kutsinta. They have other baked goods and ulam. Sometimes, I'll get bilo-bilo if they have it. Yum! The shop is always super clean and the ladies manning the register are nice, friendly, and efficient, especially when the line for ordering is long. What can take time is assembling your order. So if you can, place a phone order for pick up!

A hole in the wall spot. The first time I tried the hopia from Hilda's when I was at my auntie's house in Vegas. These are so good! The boyfriend and I ended up stopping by this bake shop.We only ordered a box of 12 pieces. These are the best hopias I have ever tasted! They are flaky and buttery and they melt in your mouth. They also sell other desserts as well. On our second visit, we ordered 2 boxes. One box for my boyfriend's fam and 1 box for us. Unfortunately the hopia that my boyfriend was eating had a piece of hair in it. Hilda we found your hair! He was grossed out and lost his appetite. I still ended up eating rest despite the hair find. Overall, the best hopia! Cash only spot and tough parking.

Best hopia in town! Really dinuguan especially paired with their puto/rice cake. Fruit salad is also good but a bit too sweet for me.

I know this place has been in business for a very long time. But service has turned for the worse. Servers are just plain rude. They do not even smile. They seem not be happy to welcome customer. Service people forgot to take their happy pills every time to go to this place. They act like people owe them something. I think this is the last time I am patronizing they business.

There's nothing like any other hopia(s) out there like the one from Hilda's. The yellow bean is so addicting that would have you eat not just one or two hopia per seating. I always find the entrance of the bake shop tidy. Though it said no bills over $20, I happen to walk in with only $100 bill to pick up two dozen hopia but the lady was nice enough to accept it. Always call ahead and place order so that you won't have to wait.

Attitude! I believe it's the owner's daughter/daughters who's managing the store nowadays. She has a snooty attitude that gives you the vibes like" I don't need to be bother". Sure the hopias taste good. However if you're in this kind of business and dealing with customers you need to be engaging and be nice to your customers.
