As a person, Stacey is kind, thoughtful, and considerate. As a chef, she is organized, creative, and talented. So.... as a personal chef - someone you are going to invite into your home and kitchen to do something as intimate as cook for your family - there's no better combination. She is a delight to work with and her food is equally as delightful to eat. Before Stacey cooked for our family, she sat down and asked us all sorts of questions - likes, dislikes, food ruts, kitchen supplies, favorites, etc. I loved that she listened and took the time to really understand our family's dining habits. It didn't feel like she was pushing her cooking or style on us. It truly felt that she was cooking just for us - like a special little dinner party that lasted a whole week. The menu was so fantastic - my mouth starting watering when she emailed it prior to the cook week for approval. It included mushroom tacos with queso fresco, white bean and kale cassoulet, and kidney bean and cheese burgers. She also provided a wide variety of sides like Spanish rice, jicama carrot salad with lime cilantro dressing, grape and butternut squash salad with sherry vinaigrette, crusty bread, and roasted red potatoes. On the designated cook day, Stacey came over in the morning. I was out most of the day, but when I returned, my kitchen sparkled (truly it was cleaner than when I left it - and that's saying a lot because I'm kind of a neat freak). Then I opened my refrigerator to what can only be described as Culinary Christmas Morning. My fridge was full of labeled prepared foods and reheating instructions. As I imagined it would be, everything was so tasty. More important, my 8-year old thought so too. Oh, and maybe I should mention at this point that my family and I are not vegan. Nope. Not even vegetarian. Yet, we understand the impact of animal based foods on the environment and your body, so we try to minimize the amount we consume. Not always easy to do - there's so much guesswork, plus it takes some serious skill to maximize flavor and variety - yet Stacey made it easy. If you need a spell of clean eating (food cleanse) or even a regular chef, Stacey of Herb'n Vegan is your gal.

I attended an amazing vegan dinner party at Herbn Vegan this past week and it was - in a word - superb! Stacey's inventiveness with food, knowledge of plant-based eating and warm hospitality made for a beautiful evening, not to mention a delicious and nourishing one! I would be insanely happy to have Stacey cook for our family every week - so so so yummy. We found Herbn Vegan through CookApp: I would absolutely recommend attending a dinner!

Stacey is such a gem! She came to my home and cooked a delicious, and nutritious vegetarian and vegan menu in my home. This was perfect for my husband and I because I was recovering from surgery. We plan to have Stacey come and cook another menu for us soon. We will also be hosting a party, and will select Herb'n Vegan to create some mouth watering treats for our guests. She is super organized, and the food that she prepared flavorful and kept its original texture even after a few days in the fridge. For me, it was like having Thanksgiving dinner prepared for you, and all of the leftovers smartly labeled and the kitchen and dishes all cleaned up in the end! We were excited to try all of the foods and did not eat out at all that week. We normally dine out or order delivery (2-3x per week). Do your self a favor and book Stacey to cook at your home. Delicious, Nutricious and Conscientious.

My wife and I went to a 5 course vegan meal prepared by Stacey. Outstanding. From the tomato stack to the avocado soup to the dessert, all hit the mark. I was surprised they were all vegan because they were all so good, and filling. Usually with this number of dishes (and there were several hors-d'oeuvres) one or two just don't work out but that was not the case here. Every dish was innovative, tasty, and just perfect. I am eagerly looking forward to the next event where Stacey is cooking!

I can't stop talking about Stacey's food. Savory, creative, healthy, tactile, beautiful on the plate, and seriously delicious. Oh, and it just happens to be vegan. In the past, when I ate or heard about vegan food, it was often raw, bland, unappetizing and usually tofu. Stacey's approach to food and cooking has changed my perception of what's possible when it comes to healthy eating and inspired me to pursue better choices. I hired Stacey for a dinner party in my home celebrating my 50th birthday. It's a big milestone and I wanted to do something really special. I saw some of her menus posted on Facebook and my mouth watered just reading about her food. That was enough for me to call her and I'm so glad I did. Stacey was prompt in returning my call, creative in designing menu options, and thoughtful in adding special details that I had forgotten (e.g., birthday candles!). What I loved most, though, about having Stacey cook for my birthday is that she *loved* doing it. She was truly inspired thinking about menu options and excited to go to the market to shop for the absolute best ingredients. Having someone prepare a meal with so much love and attention allowed me to enjoy it even more. In terms of practical details, Stacey arrived on time, brought most of her own gear, and left my kitchen better than she found it. I can't say enough good things about Stacey and Herb'n Vegan. I will definitely hire her in the future and recommend that others do as well. You'll be well-fed and healthy, too.

This review is long due. Sorry Stacey! Before i get into the details, just want to say that Stacey did an excellent job on all three levels : customer service , food itself and food presentation. I had a very unusual request. Had booked a flower shop to celebrate my husbands birthday and needed some catering help. I wanted to try something new and special for this very special occasion. Customer service : Stacey was very responsive and accommodative within the short time frames that i had contacted . She really took her time to understand what we like, and how to make something delicious for us. She even took the extra mile of visiting the venue before the event to come up with some creative ideas.Food itself: fantastic!!!! everything was so delicious. And healthy. She always makes a point to take into account the health benefits and tries to come up with a balanced diet! a tough job to combine health benefits, vegetarian and vegan food into a delicious adventure.Food and table presentation : could not have been better.!!!! There was no kitchen, or any thing that would help her setup the food. She did a great job making it as beautiful as possible. Stacey had to come up with some way to keep our main course warm, and she did make the extra effort too. The theme for the evening was romantic and she made sure that the food was colourful, presentation was elegant!!Stacey is a gem!! If you want to make your special day/event even more special , she is your girl!Thank you Stacey for being so thoughtful and excellent on our special day!!

Stacey delighted this family of five carnivores with tasty food for very very picky little eaters. Our 3 kids (9/6/5) delight when "Stacey is cooking for us tonight!!". Her food is delicious, her manner delightful and her TLC of our home and kitchen beyond comparison. We can't wait to host a cooking class (for kids too!) and dinner party next!
