Some of the best Cantonese food in the bay area...at a price. High quality dishes for both dinner and dim sum with plenty of seating arrangements for both small and large parties (and multiple private rooms for special occasions).Pro Tip:-Definitely make a reservation at least a week in advance if not earlier if looking for weekend dinner or dim sum. If trying to book the week of, goodluck...Food:-Overall, the food is some of the best in the bay area. The quality is superb and the range of assortments you find is what you would expect from a Cantonese style restaurant. The food here never disappoints!Price:-Definitely where I can see people knocking their ratings down. Comparatively to other restaurants, this is definitely on the higher end, but that is the trade off. Higher price for higher quality.Ambiance:-Gets pretty crowded and pretty loud. Definitely not a quiet environment. If you enjoy the hustle and bustle energy of a restaurant, this is the place for you. Definitely not an intimate setting.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, if you are Asian and doesn't know the owner or staff / I have noticed employees are extremely nice to Caucasian customers. This place is grand and lots of foreigners dining here. It was Tuesday during lunch time. I have been here plenty of times with non- profit organizations in the past who knows the manger of the restaurant, Also I have been here with my friends family that also knows the owner and that time the service is extremely amazing, Today, I have visited and it was such a terrible experience. We got seated and we had to wait over 20 mins for someone to take orders they just wouldn't come to us. and two of other table got seated next to us were getting served before us (Caucasian) I have pin the same waiter just asking to take our order nicely he completely ignored us. I ended up had to raised my hands then this nice guy came to take our orders then. No one came to ask to check in or refill our waters for the tea. We asked for us check that took awhile too then two guys started to cleaning our plates out brought us a check and pointed 18% auto tips when no one even give us a any service: I'm not even expecting amazing service but literally so many people are working but not even once we were asked to be okay or needing anything. I am super disappointed and upset the fact that I asked my family to come all the way here to experience this place but I won't be coming back. Food was okay, basic noodles I have ordered was very undercooked, there's plenty of other places out there near by serves better food and better service. At this point not sure they have added 18% auto tips during lunch to my table only because they do know they didn't give us any service.

Place is pretty solid and I would come back for the experience.Massive price tag to it though. I loved the dishes I tried for dim sum here. I personally love chicken feet and har gow (the shrimp ball things).I slammed so much tea here though it was great! A lot of there desert options were enjoyable as well. The service was fantastic, we got our food really quickly and refills.

We were invited to Harborview for a special birthday lunch celebration. The menu was more like a dinner menu! Service and atmosphere were excellent. We had a corner spot of the restaurant for about 80-90 people. We had approximately eleven dishes. No one on the table left hungry! Portions were good and I would say every dish was delicious and beautifully plated. The whole restaurant was packed with customers! This restaurant is amazing ambiance with some views if you are lucky to get seated by the window. I'd recommend you make a reservation to try it if you aren't lucky enough to be invited to eat at there for a party. They even offer some discount on parking in the Embarcadero.I took pictures of our feast but sorry I cannot label each dish by name. It is definitely a solid, more expensive, but a delightful experience for a special occasion for Chinese food. This was not our first time eating here and it was enjoyed just as much as the other times we've eaten here.

Brought my parents here for dimsum and they were big fans! I made a reservation on OpenTable which I highly recommend and we were able to get seated fairly quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. The service here is amazing and the food is really good as well. We got a lot of different items to try such as the baked char sui bao, chicken feet, truffle XLB, roasted pork belly, green beans, and various other items. The food here is a bit pricier than the average dimsum restaurant but the quality shows. Definitely a new go-to for family dimsum days!

In a city with excellent dim sum this location is good but wasn't my favorite. Let me explain why! Starting off with a few excellent dishes: the pork buns! The filling was perfectly flavorful with light buns and a crispy sugary coating. If I do come back it will be for this!! As well as the green beans!! These two were delicious! Other dishes that were average were the fried rice, duck baos, shrimp dumpling and tofu. Nothing wrong with these just not overly flavorful. The service was great about bringing things out when they were ready. Lots of seating! And the outdoor seating is fun with views of the ferry building and bayPRO TIP: they validate parking!! $2 for 4hrs if you park in the embarcadero 4 garage.

We came here to eat dim sum and it didn't disappoint. We ordered so many dishes but my favorite was the BBQ pork buns. The buns were so crunchy and sweet but the BBQ pork was so juicy and warm. It was the perfect combination. I still think of it time to time and definitely will eat it again when I go to SF. The restaurant was packed when we went. I highly recommend making reservations. The food came out quickly and everything was pretty good!

Yes, everything is still as good as my previous review. Updating to add a few additional items we tried:+ Steamed Rice Flour Rolls (Beef) - excellent. The beef tasted like roast beef.+ Honey Garlic Sesame Chicken - didn't realize this was battered and covered in honey garlic sauce. Tasted good, but reminded me of orange chicken from Panda. The chicken pieces were pretty small, some even dime size. Slightly disappointed, but still tastes good.

Came by for dinner the other night and it was a mediocre experience. Made a reservation via OpenTable and our table was ready upon arrival. Harborview took over the former Crystal Jade restaurant at Embacadero 4 and is featured in the 2024 Michelin guide. We entered via the street level and the host by the door was hanging out in the hallway which was odd at best. The formerly shiny mirrors next to the water tanks have lost their shine. The dining room was much brighter than previous visits making the view out on the Bay Bridge much more difficult. Service by the staff was ok. Started off with the pea shoots with garlic and it came out towards the bland side...bummer.The steamed shrimp dumplings, har gow, were ok. I've had silkier and thinner skin as well as plumper and juicier shrimp. The beef and turnip hot pot was misleading as the English description referenced beef brisket while the Chinese indicated this was merely beef. The waiter confirmed that it was merely premium beef. The broth was on the lighter side and the beef was ok.The peking duck was also ok. The skin was crispy and the hoisin sauce was decent. The duck meat itself was well done and towards the dry side. The flavoring was also quite muted. The highlight of the evening were the deep fried potatoes filled with sweet potato. These were freshly made with a super thin mochi skin and a light sweet potato filing.~$70/head after tax and 18% mandatory service charge. Tea/water is $1.5/person
